It does look a little funny, because these are not particularly good mining hardware. They (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xeon_Phi) are basically massively parallel sets of x86 CPUs, so the potential mining efficiency would be somewhere between a CPU and a GPU. On the other hand, a lot of people might find these useful, and if you can buy them with BTC, then great!

Unless, of course, it's really a scam, but who knows...

These things cost about 5 times the price this guy is asking: http://ark.intel.com/products/71992/Intel-Xeon-Phi-Coprocessor-5110P-8GB-1_053-GHz-60-core

Almost sure it's a scam :-\

Haha lovely. Claims to be able to sell hardware as expensive as this yet can't afford a domain or hosting. More than likely a scam. Below are a few of the users profiles based on the MTGox username:

Code:

http://www.terracointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=313

Also, possible address and full information listed from another of his domains.

All public information. If Jonathan comes in to this thread and wishes to clarify any misunderstanding then I'll be happy to edit this post out but this is clearly a scam. Poor website, no refund policy, no actual structure in their process all leads to this being a scam or very shambolic operation. This information was put up not to create a witch hunt but to allow users to get in touch with you directly in case you fail to deliver on your products.

The reason I posted this thread was because I know someone who chats on Cryptsy that ordered one.  ::)
