I was interested to see how this would turned out when it actually happened. Obviously they would have never paid, but I did think the possibility of an intrusion and the stealing of some documents was possible. I guess we'll never know since it's encrypted :D

Shame that bitcoin gets all the bad press (extortion, drugs, money laundering).  Where's all the good press like charity drives and benefits of crypto currency?

You would think all kidnapping would have moved over to Bitcoin already. No need to pick up cash from a drop and only need to make contact once.
One day some one will open a Kickstarter for killing people.

Indicted, not Endicted.

The squiggly red line means you're spelling it wrong.

The presumption of guilt might draw an editor's scowl, while we're fixing things.       :)

LR. This is not likely as all people can monitor while LR is not.

Is it (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/endict#English)?

(Same applies to inquire/enquire, insure/ensure.)

They'll paint a giant QRCODE on the side of their ship, and you will be able to scan it and send them a bribe in order to be left alone.
