Register to this link = https://minergate.com/a/36aeefa12ad385d84ab5fb2e MinerGate has its own built-in wallet in order to allow users to start mining. Step 2 Next you need to download the Mingergate software and install it, the website will detect your operating system and present you with the correct version. Install and run MinerGate. Link = https://minergate.com/downloads/gui Step 3: After you open and install the setup, you’ll be presented with the option to start smart mining. MinerGate automatically detects your equipment and chooses the most profitable cryptocurrency to mine according to your hardware, market price and difficulty. Step 4: Click “Start Mining” and choose the number of cores you want to use. If you choose to use fewer cores you use on your GPU/CPU, you’ll have a slower hashrate, but your hardware will be under less stress. MinerGate will now create a DAG file before it can start mining, wait for it to complete this process, once the DAG file is created, you will automatically start mining!. And that’s it! You are officially mining Monero! Title: Re: Monero Post by: os2sam on November 23, 2017, 04:30:51 PM I want to start mining with monero, could you give me some help to start? You are officially mining Monero! Please don't do that. Minergate skims hashes, eats babies and works with Satan. There are quite a few pools to choose from, see http://moneropools.com/ plenty have a much lower fee than mingergate, I recommend choosing one that donates to core devs. Most have a "Getting started" link where you can find information required to get started mining Monero. When i put my wallet number in nanonpool,i get that there is not such number.when i mining etherum everything is ok,i have this problem with monero, maby i have to wait a long time to showup my statistics in nano pool? As you said these are the instructions to start monero mining but hardware needed to get best profit is that important.GPU mining best to mine monero. The equipments needed to buld monero mining rig are grahichs card is most important so select a GPU with good hash rates I think AMD Radeon GPU is best for a beginner so buy six GPUs and mother board, processor,RAM,hard drive of small memory space and the cables needed to conenct all the dvice with the power source. Then build your own mining rig by using these. you can get more information about hardware requirements and how to setup mining rig : http://cryptosource.org/mining/hardware-requirements/ Title: Re: Monero Post by: geonexus on December 27, 2017, 08:22:17 AM Step 1 Register to this link = https://minergate.com/a/36aeefa12ad385d84ab5fb2e MinerGate has its own built-in wallet in order to allow users to start mining. If you don't the miner won't see them. After replacing the pool address and the wallet address with the one you will be using, save the file. 2) open the .bat file and put the following information in setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 NsGpuCNMiner.exe Now right click the .exe file and select "run as administrator". You can do a similar setup with the claymore cpu miner. There are some tweaks you can do like changing the value of -h, using the value -dmem 1, and others but you should ask advice on your particular setup before messing with values. Hope this helps someone.
