Title: NEO vs Q-TUM
Post by: JCM on November 23, 2017, 02:01:16 PM
Although QTUM is registered in Singapore, QTUM is like NEO a Chinese project and both development teams are situated in Shanghai.
Which of these 2 will be the new Chinese Ethereum?

I don't really like when people compare so projects. It often happens that the project with excellent technical background is losing projects, which is just good marketing campaign.
Technically I think the projects are equal but community is much more from NEO and if China is now going to endorse and legalize the ICO then the price definitely will make x2. In General, if you invest I would have done so 70% of neo 30% qtum

Neo is pos coin at the same time that was having limited supply. Rather than qtum and i should believe about the neo project, How the neo platforms already attracted a lot of the team for use the neo platform as the main platform.

I voted for both. Both of them are good projects and I follow them closely.

The chinese ethereum term is just a title given by users without any significance relevance with the real use cases of the coin.

Both NEO and QTUM still struggling to find dapps to run on top of their network while ETH is dominating whole dapps and smart contract market.

Lisk is way better than NEO, QTUM (this is only my personal opinion).

NEO gets a lot of news and hype
I think QTUM is the undervalued one https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_charts/qtum/usd

Rather than QTUM, NEO will be the one for Chinese ICO. NEO's popularity is way above the others in the assian market. Also NEO's team is much better than qtum team as I investigated them before.

I think NEO will have upper hand here, it is seen as China true baby and this is key unlike Qtum, NEO has come good in its short life and is now seen has a main blockchain project coming out of China
