Hello guys you know that ethereum rised significiantly and we saw ath. What do you think about ethereum price at the end of 2017? Will ethereum break $500 or start to dump?

Ethereum has been very stable for a whole time. This new price increase is not a fluke at all. Ethereum platform is actually been use and ethereum is creating value. We may see $500 and beyond!

ETH and BTC are only coins, that are currently serving 100% of it's purpose. So why not?

In my view Ethereum is the best altcoin and have real business. At the end if 2017 ETH will pump to $600. So do not dump now.

Ethernet has good future. Since long time ETH was struck at a level to $300. It was due increase in the price of ETH. Maybe touch $600.

Ethereum can hit 500 ATH at the end of this year with more supports and more projects and more economic advocates their is no doubt that Ethereum is the most valuable coin today, if you believe Vitalik's vision then altogether as we continue to support his goal we can hit the Ethereum to the moon. Ethereum is the biggest rival of Bitcoin not even a single hardfork or softfork from bitcoin can outperform Ethereum.

I hear a lot of people saying that BTC and ETH are actually not rivals and could go to a good coexistence.

i agree with you because btc and eth have an separate indenty function in crypto's, i think the rival of btc today is the bitcoin cash issuing to replace the btc as new king of crypto's but i don't believe this expeculation i trust bitcoin stronger than other currency in terms in stability.

Ethereum is one of the constant raise currency. In  end of 2017 it will more raise in digital market. They have good improvement day by day. I think it reach 600 us dollar is possible for at the end of 2017. Most of the traders like invest in Ethereum and Bitcoin. Both are genuine currency in entire digital world.

I believe another peak soon? and why? The interested thing about the block reward decreased a lot. the next should be the pos system that will have putted into the ethereum network. Basically the ethereum moves into the pos coin and a lot of the biggest ethereum holders can earn passive income with staking their ethereum to the network.

My own opinion is that the current price of ETH is far undervalued and now he has shown great potential to have a strong community base that could even outperform bitcoin if it solves the capacity issue

I personally predict somewhere between $600-$750. But I want to accumulate a bit more so I hope the price stays the same or drops a little.

i think that ethereum will cross 500$. my friend advised me to bought some ether but i didn't listened  to him now i am regretting.

Ethereum platform has non stop development that's why it is the best altcoin so far, I left it untouched because I know it will raise more value in the long run.
Most newly created projects use this platform cause they know that it brings success. They prefer to use the supported token which is ERC20.
So as ETH keeps on rising now, it will reach the $500 mark before the 2017 year ends.

 As I have seen Ether's chart from last 1 month Ether was in a certain range of 280-310$ for last few days, and now as its broke the upper range of 310$ with huge pumping volume its now going to life time high and its going up but I think there should be a resistance at 390-410$ and at this level Ether will again be range bound for some time and if it break 420$ the upper range  with good pumping volume, its will flare till 500$ till December -17. And now a days you can see many many ICO coming with Eher platform.so its will be best to invest for long term vision for good return.

Ethereum is second to bitcoin which is demanding in cryptocurrency. In my own opinion i think ethereum price will pump even fore the year 2016.

According to sources on the net, Ethereum price has already risen more than 50 times this year. To reach $500 before 2017 is out, Ethereum would need to rise another 25% from the $400 mark where it was trading early Thursday morning - all in a little more than a month.
That target is feasible and it's also possible it can reach $600 by Jan/Feb of next year if it carries on at this pace.

Ethereum exponentially increased now, and I think it will be more by the end of 2017. It's fame gives it a lot more value than before. This coin has a good future and a good investment.

With the new information about that ETH is 50% of the total transaction volumne, I think it can only grow. Maybe some of the bitcoin holders will release that the costs of moving bitcoin around is simply too high (both in price and time) compared to ETH. So I see ETH going up much more next year.

Sources all around the cryptoworld are predicting that Ethereum will infact reach it's $500 mark, and probably surpass that record - breaking number!

No, they are not rivals. Bitcoin has become established as a store of value, a sort of digital gold.
Ethereum is entirely different, it is a smart contracts platform and could well become the backbone of the next iteration of the internet.
They are completely different coins with completely different uses, and can coexist happily.

I think is going to be on he's normal price back to 350/375 or maybe 400 as it is for now.

$500 is possible but be aware that people will take time to get profit. But it's another goal for those people who are holding a lot of ETH, unfortunately I did sold most of my ETH at $400 before and I didn't have time for buying back again. Still I'm waiting for Ethereum and seeing it pump up to $500. Many will be instant rich by that time but there will be an equilibrium and opposite result when bitcoin price surges.

One point to note is that $400 was a big psychological barrier. ETH got near $400 and bounced back down a couple of times, before this time finally punching through to its current new ATH.
$500 is a bigger barrier, and more of a round number. It seems reasonable to expect a lot of people cashing out at $500 and a severe bounce back down, possibly to mid $400s. On the other hand if it punches through $500 without problems then the next round number isn't until $1,000 - so it could rise until it hits that point.

I see that ETH has good prospects from its inception to this day, I think that as long as ETH is still a bitcoin partner, by the end of 2017 it will be over $ 500. and it will happen.

ETH price is still undervalued especially if you compare ETH market cap with BTC market cap. Ethereum community is more united, with a clear roadmap and currently Ethereum transactions are the double of Bitcoin ones.

Ethereum is not bitcoin and that was really different, bitcoin is not used the smartcontract that already used in the ethereum since ethereum was the project that creates the smartcontract. Ethereum has built in a different way than bitcoin. As the next roadmap, the ethereum will move into the pos system. that will be so interesting for me.

With the ongoing uptrend in the price of ethereum I believe the price can be felt to be above $750 to the minimum. Additional to the growth, when the altcoins developed on the same platform support growth of Eth it'll reach above $1000 to $2000 at the earliest of 2018.

It won't be lower than $500 and in january-february 2018, we can see it above $1500.

I think Ethereum has the potential to reach around $500-$1000 by end of this year. I'm hopeful though based on the recent uptrend it had achieve recently, ad would still hold on to this coin until a few more years to go.

Etherum very stable and have huge commnity, growth smoothly but in my opinion, ETH can reach over $400 at the end of 2017 only, cannot pass $500. ETH easy to use and trading and using as abase for many ERC20 token, so market cap increasing day by day. But not have a break out, and main market is Korean ICO not whole the world.

ethereum is one of few coin I am holding now for a long time and I think ETH might reach $1000 before the end of 2017. eth has been consistently pumping for days now and today it reach $400 and now $446. if this pumping up continue i believe this might set a great record just like BCH. and i hope to see the implication of this on ICO tokens. it is a promising coin just like bitcoin which has been in existence for a long period of time.

I think it will break $500 for ath but after that there will be correction until about $450 so we will see the price at $450 at the end of the year. This is just my prediction based on eth movement and i bought some before the break out happened.

Ethereum from a few days ago have showing slow price movement up from 0.04 to 0.055 BTC is good movement though. It might be break $500 or maybe more thatn that until the end of year need more $50 to break it.

Ethereum has a big potential and coming in next to bitcoin so it is no doubt that it can go beyond $500. Maybe not by the end of 2017, but early 2018. You can never go wrong with investing in this coin.

It will certainly grow, but I do not think that its price will rise so fast. I suppose that the next jump of Bitcoin will impact it, and ETH will slow down its speed. I do expect the alt’s price somewhere near $700.

Based on expert review once ethereum crossed 600$ there is a chance a of getting 1000$+ soon if it hits 400$ then there is a chance of fall till 300$. Again it’s all speculation even after pos there might be chance of pump high or dump heavily.

I've decided to hedge my ETH with USDT. RSI says (very loud) that it should be dumped very soon. I don't think it raises more than 500$ without local correction.

Hopefully it wouldn't happen because it might gives to much worries to the community. Though, it won't go higher from $500 but still believing it would not fall down and hopefully it would stick from $400-$500. And it give time for some altcoins to recover from dumping at this time.

This question is really arising on my mind thousand times a day since the ether started moving up. Surprisingly we can see that almost all the top 10-15 coins except 1-2 are consistent in their upward movement since few days and some are since few weeks.

Is it related to bitcoin movement or it’s just that they are trying to keep the ratio same as the previous one in terms of bitcoin market cap and price. It bouncing on head like anything. This has anyway made one thing sure that ether will be ATH for long time and it may achieve another one real soon in December. The question is whether it’s going to be $500 $600 or even more than that and upto 1K.

I think this is just the beginning of the growth of the Etherium. By the end of 2017 the price for it will be exactly $ 500, well, in 2018 $ 1000-1500

I agree. Eth has maintained its price point in that value margin for quite some time, although, based on my observation that the trend that affects its increase is not very reliable. I think there is a high chance for it to reach higher than 500 because the bitcoin, which is most of the time correlative with altcoin value is reaching an all time high.

People are in need of Ethereum to invest in most of ICO's. They prefer it also in trading because of small fees. So 700$ by the end of the year will be a fair price.

I believe that as Bitcoin value increases ethereum will not be left behind because recently ethereum has move from its strongest resistance around  $307 - $320  to the current market value of above  $450 which is unusual in recent time. All the same, am of the believe that ethereum will continue to increase in value up to  $600 and above before end of December this year.

ETh is now $ 500 and we are sure we will see a slight increase in ETH later this year. I think ETH price may reach $ 800 this year and there will be strong growth after Bitcoin. Now I am investing 100 ETH and will keep the future

I think if you see the development of eth in this month it seems at the end of 2017 is likely to reach $ 500 especially this month it seems that eth soared up and more often eth in use, and the possibility to start to dump seems a bit difficult.

Ethereum broke 500 dollars today but quickly retraced back below 500 dollars. Ethereum is being used worldwide more than any other crypto out there. I think it's gonna cross 500 dollars by the end of 2017. But can't say anything for sure coz it's crypto market.

I think believe Ethereum will hit a new all time high before the end of the year, even with this seemingly big correction incoming. Maybe 400 was the new floor and we're going to see another few pumps in the next days? Its anyones guess now.

My opinion is that by the end of the year the Etherium will cost about $ 500. And in 2018 it will grow because many events are planned for the development of technology.

I still expect to see around $1000, at least $700 till the end of year. In comparison to BTC, ETH is extremely undervalued and underhyped, so any effective marketing campaign can easily switch the roles. Especially if BTC will start falling.

No one knows what will be etherium by the end of this year , maybe it will dump and also maybe it will break the $500 by this year ends. Etherium slowly rising , and so other coins , but its a far too long for its to break more $500 in value , maybe next year it will rise faster than this year.

The very fact that everyone says ETH is going over 700-800 makes me think that it will do the opposite.  Usually when everyone thinks something is going to happen, it doesn't, and it goes the other way.  Even though TA has been telling everyone this is going to happen, I'd be wary.

It has a big potential to hit $500 mark. So far eth has also been less volatile and almost became stable. I even predicted it to hit 700 or 1000 max. I believe that Ethereum price will be mora than $550 by the end of this year. The market cap is very high for ETH right now ($42.958.177.753). This is huge amount. So the Ethereum has still way to go up.. I am huge fan and collector of the ETH.

I think by the end of this year eth will value around $500 and will continue to grow continuously until next year.

I think it could go 600-700$ by year end, $1500 by end of next year. Ethereum isn't just a currency, it's a commodity, one that people are just beginning to understand how to use. It will see widespread adoption, but most people using it won't realize it.

I think we are looking at ETH just breaking the 500 mark, the most important thing is it making itself stable, it is a lot more important that it stays a similar price for a reasonable amount of time rather than shooting up and shooting back down.

I think there is a good chance Ethereum will be $500 by the end of 2017 as Ethereum’s price is increasing day by day.ETH is the internet of the future. It can be between 500-550 dollars by the end of 2017. Byzantium and Casper hardfolks show how much the team care about privacy and consensus security.  Shifting from PoW to PoS to achieve this much-needed, large-scale network scalability is just a proof of my prediction. There is a bright future ahead of Etherium no doubt. I can see ETH at 0.1 BTC in 2018.

Yes, ETH completely can reach new peak at $500. Its price is $470 now and it is continue rising.

for now , ethereum was stable at $450-500 , maybe on end year will dump to $400 , and rising again when next year.
because on end year , a lot people want use money for new year and christmast.

I think Ethereum price at the end of 2017 it will pump and break $500. I know that Ethereum raised significantly. Ethereum is a very stable crypto but we can see it's progressive trend this late november. I'm being positive that eth would rise prolly up to $600 at the end of 2017. I'm also expecting that it will increase at the beginning of 2018.

It depends if people will continue to support ethereum they will break $500 within the tear but if they stop doing that maybe the ethereum will stay at their price or go.downa little bit. But for me ethereum is for a long term investment because their value is not that expensive yet like bitcoins but I do they will also reach that thing and when that day comes we the investors of ethereum will become successful because our money will grow more than those who does not trust and invest in them.

Ethereum has shown progress this year, I've seen ETH price once reach 550 $ more. I think coins ETH for this year will remain stable in price 500 $, and will rise again next year.

you are right, eth will become an altcoin which everyone must have it in their wallet. Eth still have big potential future, i suggest to buy Eth now.

I think by the end of the year it will have cracked 600, but will have snaked back down to around 500. Regardless it is still improving and these volatile movements are necessary.

I don't see people dumping it, it is rising like Bitcoin (not as much in value of course). Remember that ETH at the start of the year was very cheap, bitcoin was already in 3 digits.

there is a project on this platform called "cryptokittens" which is practically a game using the ethereum platform to create virtual kitties for people and they grow them and play with them and i believe trade them also.

this created a small increase in the number of transactions on ETH network which led to crippling the whole system for more than 2 days now.

Since the price of bitcoin is keep on rising then it will be a good news for ethereum because even though the bitcoin price is keep on going up and the bitcoin value of ethereum is going down, it is still alright because the amount of fiat value of ethereum is going up so it is just like a win-win situation.

It is not possible to bump eth in this year. In This World There are too many Products as like altcoin we know that any kind of product growing but no one brack dwon at the moments altcoin is same it is not possible to dump.

I think ethereum will dump and that's usually happen with all crypto, it's just temporary trend. For me, end of the year we must take the safety step to protect our asset. That's why I must sell my bitcoin & eth with the rest coin and also replace it become currency. Just for knowledge, we only need to see eth history price action and volume when end year comes, sometimes will repeat again. See you next year.

Well, if we go and look back on the charts of ethereum at least just this year, i think it is possible that ethereum may rewch even $600+ in price by january or February. So i think it wouldn't be wise to dump a coin with so much potential to be close to bitcoin's greatness. I suggest you just collect and collect then hold. Ethereum will eventually grow bigger in price mid year 2018. Im looking at a $700 to a $1000. But still, nothing's for sure, just sharing my analysis. Your choice if you bekieve me or not. Ethereum is still struggling to reach $500 mark maybe it will not able to reach in 2017 but ethereum is a good potential coin sultable for long term investment if your are trying to invest on ethereum you just have to hold it for minimum two years to get good returns.I hope ethereum will hit $2000 by end of 2018 because many ICOs are started their sale based on ETH so it will increase the demand and the price also increase.

Ethereum tends to go up or down in price relative to US$ in bursts rather than a constant increases or decreases. I think if we break $500 it could easily shoot up to $600 or $700 very quickly, though the current congestion isn't a good sign and could make people hesitant to buy more.

There are some signals point out that ETH will reduce soon. Super Bitcoin hard fork will take place in December 15th. Therefore the investors start sell ETH to buy Bitcoin.

   I finally bought some Ethereums and my plan is to hold it at least until next year in this time. In mid-term
price will go to $1000, but I hope for much higher price before I sell Ethereum.

I think ethereum price will continue to pump. In past, ethereum price has been stable I haven't seen eth to pump and dump deep after yet and because of new ICO that choosing eth as platform for their tokens it's not impossible for eth to have a stable market demand since people need it as fuel for making transactions using their erc20.

The price of Ethereum will continue to go up. I think at the end of this year it will break the $500 price.

ETH has dropped down the last few days towards the low 400s but I still think we will see it at above $500 before the year is out. It probably hasn't been helped by the slow transaction speed the last few days but I expect the upward momentum to resume once that is all cleared up.

ETH is falling down because the investors are changing to invest in Bitcoin before the hard fork. But I think that it will recover reach $500 at the end of this year.

The price of ethereum has fallen in past few days so I would be happy to see even if achieves the price of $500 to $600 by the end of the year as that would be the good price to sell it and accumulate the profits.

I wonder how many people even on this forum are calculating the price of Ether through fiat dollar and not through the ratio with BTC. Nevertheless, this ratio interests me mostly. For sure after hard fork Etherium will grow by the end of the year to at least 0.042, it's interesting what share of the market Ethereum network will have with the appearance of new players.

Ethereum's transaction delays have caused me to seriously think about the confidence of investors towards the end of 2017 and indeed 2018. Slow transaction times is a big put off. And come to think of it, majority of the problem is caused by cryptokittens.
No wonder the price has behaved somehow in recent days.

Many other alt coins have been giving me a headache with their sh*tty wallet apps that don't work etc.

I had predicted a month ago that Ethereum will probably hit my $1,000 mark before 2018 but it seems hard to fill the gap between $500 to $1,000 this week. But we never lose hope because Ethereum experienced heavy traffic in the past 3 days due to congestion. People maybe shifting from other currencies into Ethereum but we're not sure about that.

In my opinion the value is only increasing because it is december, Then maybe after december the value will dump again. The hype is on christmas that's why everyone is exchanging their coins to buy gifts for their family.

Indeed, Ethereum's transactions delays is causing Ethereum to lay low and maintaining $500 in the past two weeks.
If only Ethereum's network can handle the stress of congestion then it will probably the reason to rise the value and will hit another mile of value but seems it's difficult to predict any mark value for now.

I don't know if the price will get up to $700 this year, there is not enough volume for that price to happen right now.

Etherium still stable for a long period of time. I think that it is more likely that it will decrease slightly at the end of 2017. But during the Jan 2018 it cost will reach 500 USD.

Dump or Pump?

I got a huge feeling about the pump with ETH at the end of 2017 and mostly the closest to BTC, I feel like ethereum at the end of 2017 would pump up its numbers, then it'll increase from 500$ - 650$ hopefully.

I strongly believe ethereum will increase upto $500 or more than at the end of 2017 because its been a consistent platform used in mostly new created ICO nowadays.

I reckon ETH can get to $1000 by March 2018. I think the new year will bring a big bull run in alts, christmas/new year will be for newbies to buy Bitcoin, Litecoin & ETH, but once they start researching, I reckon they will pile into ETH too, they will also want to diversify.

Ethereum are doing well this year and it will continue to grow. Being second to the most popular digital currency are hard to maintain.

This year was the big introduction of ETH and by next year 2018 will be the booming year of ETH.

I think that ETH will break 500. Think it will be 600 USD. If solution for cryptokitties is made in January it may even double to 1000 USD in 2018. These are only my thoughts and intuition.

Vitalik himself is interested in the growth of the price of Ethereum. And he repeatedly spoke at conferences that he will do everything possible to improve the platform and increase volatility and price. So the price of 500 bucks is not the top, I think soon we will see growth to 1000.

If you see, ethereum was grow because the bitcoin where grow too much.

In my humble opinion I think Etherum will be in that price by the end  of this year, since the Btc has been gathering more attention so others crypto currencies will gain more attention too, so that means more people will invest more in top ten crypto currencies and also new coins are paying their bounty´s campaign in etherum so I would like see etherum around 500 dollars or more.

Let set this straight about ether price! Ether will not dump! Ethereum platform has become stable and robust serving multitude of project and creating envinroment of different loudable future project like Dapp, Dex and ALGORY platform! All these mentioned project are revolutionary in themselves, changing the way things are done (Especially ALGORY) We should see ether rising above $500 in the coming days!

I dont think this is the good time for ethereum, we see that bitcoin value continue moving crazy and affects value of altcoin including ethereum as you can see in all of crypto exchange the value are too bloody because lots of investors are now focusing in bitcoin.
Ethereum will remain as its value right now or dump will happen but in the next year i think that is the year of altcoin that they will increase its value and make things different this current month they will recovered and will make some history in crypto world.

It may up, or down. One of  the factor could be the Pussies (Kitties). The Gas Price goes up and brought congestion, yet, Pussies earn so much attentionf from Etherians.
