Title: Well we are back to the triple digits again
Post by: BitcoinAshley on June 28, 2013, 03:24:48 AM
You see what I did there?  ;D

We went from like 99.77 to like 100.64 (approximate) and I feel that this <$1 price movement is so significant that I need to make a thread about it, so that we can make sweeping generalizations about Bitcoin's current state based on this <$1 price move.

Media attention is picking up. Good news coming in press section constantly. Great new developments and projects including the 100% trust-free lite node being developed by a full-time dev. Even Namecoin and Litecoin, the only altcoins worth a hat-tip, are seeing new dev work. Regulatory "hits" haven't actually been hits at all, just great ways to expose the socialist goons who are too scared of the state to comprehend a free bitcoin. Hey, don't judge them - WWSD?

Ok, now flame me for making too much commotion over this insignificant price move and spreading anti-FUD. God I'm so annoying.

And back to double digits again ;)

It could be a long time before we see triple digits again, if ever.

A week of normal time is a year in Bitcoin time. I've held BTC for all of 3 months and it feels like I have for a good decade now.

I need to stop spending my free time reading these forums  ;D

Of course not. I'm casually allocating <5% of each paycheck to buying BTC and enjoying the innovation. I do however get so carried away with it that I end up like a child with a promised videogame coming at Christmas. Patience is something I'm working on.

Only on Gox, BitStamp and BTC-e are in the 80's.

So, you'll sell at $20-30 during the final capitulation  ;D

Or... I'm only allocating money that I would've spent on alcohol or smokes so if it runs into the ground then i'm not too fussed. In fact, I'm already seeing the health benefits of bitcoin  ;)

But you can sell now and buy cheaper later.

I think i'll wait out the weekend dip before making a more informed decision instead of relying on relentless bearishness with a personal agenda.  ;)

Chaikin money flow index is negative for last 3-4 days.
And it was only positive for last 1-1.5 years until this week.

Thanks for your input but I don't get worked up over such things as a technical indicator.

Indeed back to double digits again. As long term bullish as I am, I very well may sell 1-2% of my coins to make a quick buck here in this downwards trend.

Good luck mate. I just hope that you are not allocating 5% of your paycheck to buy bitcoins since the time you have registered on this forum... otherwise it will get ugly. You might want to consider to liquidate more then just 1-2% of your coins...

Just a hint...

There seem to be a lot of people doing this.
This will end up in sharp rise once most people think the downtrend is over, because they want to make their "quick buck" in Btc.
I think it could probably be shortly after withdrawal on Gox works normal again (which would be kinda ironic).
