Someone stop ETH until payday please! It raise so fast.Anyone know the reason?

Ethereum is just catching up with its father which is the BTC,ethereum sets an ATH 442 earlier for the first time since june and i am hoping that it will reach upto $700 to 1k.

I think it was underpriced. The recent fork went well, and ETH was due a rise. It had never recovered back to its all-time high of around $400. Once it finally broke through that resistance, it was free to soar :)
It's not just a short-termer though, ETH has the potential to be far far bigger than it is now :)

Just What I though! but it raised too fast, I want invest this coin but not payday yet :p

Don't worry, there will be some news event, or some public figure that gives a comment, that tanks the market and you can buy in cheaper.  This has been the pattern all year.

dont worry there will be a retrace and if not in a few months it wont matter if you buy it a few days later, because the price will be way higher :) or lower

Ethereum has been consolidating for way too long, so now it is normal that it heads again upwards. But it will retrace down, don't worry.

Don't know why is it growing so fast but I'm liking it a lot. Yeah I know you are very excited about investing into bitcoin which is completely clear from your payday statement, lolz! Yeah it has been always good investment and the way it is now growing I believe more people will try to put their investment into it. May be the team is thinking that the bitcoin cash drama may kill ether market and hence they are trying to pump the coin. I mean this is just assumption and I'm not 100% sure about it. But I'm trying to stress myself on different facts why so, why now the ether is growing so erratically! Its good though and I do not want to loose the money over it for sure. So I will invest a lot now, as there is no time for the regrets. :-)

The fork went well and rumors of Casper being closer than we think may also contribute to this sudden rise. I'm hoping it goes higher...

Been a ETH holder for a long time.From my personal experience,ETH has a very different way to peeking.IT goes high for a few days,stays there and keeps getting high until the drop.Once it starts dropping,keeps dropping at the same level it peeked from and stays there forever until another unexpected peek out of the blue.

Don't worry, I think we will see some decently sized dips in the coming days. There will be more buying opportunities.

That's actually kind of similar how bitcoin rised all the time, so hopefully Ethereum is going the same way (when it's about the price) :) Anyway you're totally right, realised the same.

Otherwise I can just say that it was finally the time for Ethereum to go up again. Let's see what happens next year after POS is comming, but I think it might bring a lot of attention to bigger investors and other people which will push the price a lot!

what payday you're talking about? about the price of ETH, i think it will be slowly increased since the BTC is got all high in the price
and all altcoins will take a break for the price rising

Hahah i am passing through the same sittuation right now. I am waiting until the next week that i am going to get my monthly payment, i wanted to invest in ethereum since 30% of my total wage is invested on ethereum..
But i did not not invested during this last pump.

The last time that i bought some ethereums the price was below $290 each one of them, and i have bought a few more at a lower price, so i am happy with that, but i still wanted more and i lost the opportunity. Now $480 for one eth seems to be a little bit expensive for me.

ETH had a huge range forming and that is what broke out, we might see much higher levels maybe soon.

We can't magically stop the price movements of the Ether price just for you to buy more at cheaper prices. But chances are that by the time you get your paycheck (I'm assuming at the end of the month) the price per ether has dropped quite a bit. It will come down at some point and I think the price won't keep rallying up for 6 days straight like bitcoin sometimes does. If you're in for $$$'s only you did miss out on a good percentage but if you're in for the bitcoin you didn't miss a whole lot. If you look at the ETH/BTC market you will see that ethereum has broken a bearish trend so there might be some hope left for you to get involved.

It has been going up by a lot of money, i am really scared because ethereum has always been my favourite altcoin, and i wanted to have more than 50 ethereum on my wallet, but it seems that it is going to be impossible because the price is going up so fast.

I will keep buying, because i really know that it will be worth more than a thousand dollars in a few months from now, but yes, it is pretty sad to know that we are not going to be able to buy at $150 - $250 anymore.

But those are good news for all of us who have been collecting as much eth's as possible during the last few months, i am glad that i invested in to it.

I dont undersatnd why eth is still below $1k.So many eth based crypto coins are live and eth is in such a huge demand,no wonder it wil soon break all barriers

Haha, ETH is BOOMING right now! But don't worry, it is just catching up with BTC and it still has a long way to rise... after-all, they still have yet to implement their POS system  ;).

I know all ETH holders will be delirious but hold on to your horses just for a bit. Yes, it finally re-reached its ATH and broke free a little bit, but remember the last time it did, a lot of other alts like Litecoin did the same... more importantly, it was Bitcoin that broke ATHs and every alt took the same taxi.

Now, ETH is just reaching its old peak... while Bitcoin is worth twice what it was the last time ETH was here. So for ETH to really impress it either has to reach significant new ATH OR... it must peak when Bitcoin is falling or stable for a long time.

But of course, credit to ETH for surviving the fork.

EXACTLY! Someone stop it already! I was thinking exactly the same thing. I need to bring fresh cash in before it goes to the moon. Im pretty angry at myself now for giving away my ether to ICO's. Hopefully the train waits a bit longer, so I can buy again before it takes off.

We have the same concern. I wanted to increase my ethereum holding but I'm afraid that by the time I have secured my funds, I'll enter the market late and suffer losses. So for the meantime (for both of us, I think) let the dust settle and keep watch of the price and news regarding it.

ETH is not expensive as long as it is lower than 1000 usd. Don't worry and continue to invest in it.

And this is how buy high sell low happens. Where were you when it was $300 for months.

Now there is a high chance of reaching 700$+ in next couple of days because of bitcoin hardfork it was not much traded more than that people using ethereum as payment mode because of bitcoin high transaction and confirmation time.

I hold, run to the bookkeeping. in fact, everything is normal trend of growth bitcoin caused the growth and altcoins and it's not just ether. But it's just on the first lines.

When it was in $300 only few believes and have interest but with the recent pump there's also a sudden waves of demand wanting to have some and wanting to ride the train. And instead of profiting big they end up with just a little profit. However, it's not bad at all, it's still money baby. My point is if we see a coin dumped take that opportunity to buy, hold and wait for a good pump. Just be used to it so we can chill and relax.

I'm not surprised with this pump, because it was VERY undervalued before. Just every index show that it was undervalued. I suppose that the target is 550-600$ in December.

No, it is not possible to stop ETH at this time. You may ask your pay in advance if possible or wait for next two months.

nevermind my fellow friends im prety sure that when your paycheck arrive ethereum price will keep raising, just buy when you have spare money, not good if you force your slef to do it when have no money left

This is a good news for ETH holder,i am happy that ETH is pumping this is the right time to sell ETH for those who want to sell,ETH is just reaching out while BTC is worth twice the price value.

It will go down eventually but if you want it down only because you miss your chance and want to buy it then no. It was a free, open market with supply and demand, please get used to that.

The old investment proverb say "cash is king". There is no stopping these coins when they move. You need the cash to invest.
