As for me, I don't calculate my profit on a daily basis but I calculate it on a weekly basis and most times i make about 15 percent to 25 percent of my capital on a weekly bases though not consistently at some times the profit will drop below 15 percent and some other time it will be higher above 25 percent and I believe it is worthwhile.

I don't day trade so I don't keep a daily percentage of gains. I make very few, calculated trades, like for example, Bitcoin->BCash trades depending on how much manipulation Jihan Wu and Roger Ver are creating with the fork.

Other fundamentals may influence trades I want to do, but I don't trade no more than 5 times a month or less so I don't bother with a daily estimation, I only measure gains monthly if I even measure them since im not a trader.

I don't calculate the profit on that way. I'm not buying Bitcoin as an investment, I earn it so actually I have no loss at all and every percentage that Bitcoin price goes up is my profit and it grows with time.
But if you are investing in Bitcoin or trading it I think that something about 15% is a decent profit.

I also don't calculated daily profit because I seldom do day trading anymore. But a good profit could be around 10-15%, depending on your capital. Profit per day or even per month really depends on how time you can devote to your trading activities.

Those who have a lot of time and making trading their daily jobs should be taking more profits I believed. Maybe around 20% or more for those who are really professional at this craft.

As you would expect, my daily profit changes daily  ;). However, I try to leverage/hedge my trades so that I profit a minimum of .5%-1% per trade group.

Good luck and remember that sometimes you may have to stop and cut your loses (DO NOT BE STUBBORN)! :P

it depends, most of times that i use to be trading are those times in when i see that there is a lot of manipulations on the market, or maybe those times in when i see that there are very good opportunities to join.

The last time that i traded was on November 12nd, when bitcoin had the war against bitcoincash. That was one of the most profitable days that i have ever traded on.

I think that i made more than 0.05 bitcoin profit just by being trading a few hours with 0.12 bitcoins, i made more than 0.17 an a few more digits if i am not wrong.

Then i did not traded anymore, i dont think that there are good opportunities like that one at the moment.

I have different methods to earn bitcoin on which some of them aren't giving a fixed earnings. Most of my earnings came from doing trades so obviously no such thing as day profits here. It will all depend on how my coins on my portfolio list will behave. Since the challenge here is to deal with the price volatility of any coins, it needs time before I can execute my bearish activity.

What matters here, no matter the interval, the reward (profit) must be worth your effort, time and work.

I work a full-time job, so my % is probably lower than normal. I can average about 1%-2% daily with my trades, but I feel rushed sometimes and I know I miss out on really good deals but you take what you can get.

Title: Re: profit amount?
Post by: Alns on November 24, 2017, 11:58:19 PM
Everytime that i use to trade i only make at least three percent a day, and this is because i dont want to risk much more money when i am trading, because you can lose it all if you just make a typo or maybe if you dont know what is going to happen with this coin in a few hours after you bought it.
That is why i am always scared of opening a new trade, because it is very risky, but most times i use to win those trades because i use to only make 1 or 2 trades a day when i want to trade.
But maybe i trade less than 15 times in a month.

I normally try to get a profit of atleast 5% daily for now because it has been a bullish market i close the day at 3-4% almost every single day. I know this won't work in long run and it will require more time in future but 2% per day is also not a bad deal for me.

I work a full-time job, so my % is probably lower than normal. I can average about 1%-2% daily with my trades, but I feel rushed sometimes and I know I miss out on really good deals but you take what you can get.
If you amount of trading is high 1-2% isn't a big sort of issue. I would suggest you to use more of stop loss to avoid missing good profit. I set it below resistance level or at -10%.

Then why comment on this we are talking about trading here not btc investment holding you btc is itself giving many a good profit. Regarding 15% that is honestly a lot if you are trying to gain it in day.

It varies every day. There are up days and down days. On average, probably ~6-7% per day (0.1 BTC profit vs. 1.5 BTC trading capital).

Actually not many people have skill to do day trading since it needs more concern and time.
I never count how much percentage, i work normally with my currency. How much money in my currency that get profit.
I can suggest only put low target for trading aorund 20% maximum in a month. So it could be easier than high target.

I do not always pay attention to how much money I get. because I think when I can take advantage of profit and make an investment then I will be able to get a much higher amount. Maybe if calculated every week then I can get 0.1 BTC, for me it is a very large amount because the economy in my life is very helpful and this is much more than when I work in the real world. I believe in this world there are still many people who can earn far more than me, they are successful people because dare take risks and decide the right action. I hope that I can also increase the amount of income I get right now, I want to be at a much higher level again.

I don't have a daily profit actually. But in terms of monthly average income I guess it would be somewhere 500 USD to 1,000 USD per month. There are very huge movements in terms of my monthly average income. This is due to the fact that the market is not always on my side. Sometimes the market is very hard to predict and I am forced to cut loss despite it being a wrong move basically.

That is unrealistic even earning 10% daily is too much you will become a billionaire in just a matter of years if you could pull out that daily, in my opinion some people just have expectations that are simply too high if you could earn 5% per week you will be doing great already, you will only need to increase the size of your capital to increase your profits.

I do not check it by daily because sometimes when you see your daily trade and you see your losing money you may do more bad trades. I do it monthly I have been trading in crypto for a few months and averaging $600 as of now.

Same here too. I also will not go for day trading. I will buy the good coins and wait for my target to achieve. But if it goes down a lot and if coin future is good then I will buy more at a lower price and wait. Day trading is not so easy for everyone and one should be fully dedicated to these trades then they can do it but like me part time traders not so easy to manage things on a daily basis.

I don't usually calculate my earnings or profit daily, its like that I am expecting too much, or there are fix rates of income daily, or it sounds that i become that greedy to earn daily. As long as I earned from my investments, big or not i appreciate those, being greedy doesn't lead you anywhere, in the end you'll end up being confused.

i did not set my profit because i am afraid it will lead me to loss and greed,
whenever i made my trade i always thought about how can i get a profit for everything that i made.
my ultimate goal when trading is to get a profit for every trade that i will make and do not think about how much the profit would be.
i ever did it a while ago when i started trading, every trade i made a decision to make a profit around 10%.
the first trade i got this and feeling so happy about it,
later on my greed take a control and cost me all of my money.
i do not recommend to set your profit goal because it will only make you feeling 'unsatisfied',just let it go and focusing how to make a profit.
do not bother about the amount, but instead keep focusing for the 'profit' alone

To every trader, getting back your capital is always the first thing and then you look into the profits gained. So if you invest big you will be aiming at a big output, and with small investment, a small output. I am still reading more about trading, before I start looking into profits.

I admit that everyone must have their own way. Maybe you do not do the job like trading and also mining. I am sure you benefit from the investment you have. Currently very rarely people who rely on monthly income because the average income we get is not unexpected. If a trader then I am sure earnings may be possible, I also can not confirm the amount of money I get. But at least this time I can get about 20USD every day.

Personally I don't count my daily earnings through trading, I just focus more on my goal that I need to achieve every month. Its hard to earn daily but if you are experienced for sure daily income is not you problem anymore. My fixed income with bitcoin is comes from signature campaign, working hard on this so in the future I can enjoy everything.

What is your daily profit?

First of all I'm not a greedy person so my daily profits are much smaller than the average trader. Im always happy with 1-2% of the profit on initial investment but most of the time I don't claim the profits every day. I always seek for the 2-4% of profits but I usually end up with 2% of profits or sometimes zero also. So I don't risk my investment and use take out whatever I got If I start going further and try to claim more than what I desire then it could happen that the coin suddenly drops in and we never get a chance to profit ourselves.

This % is very very small but when calculated over the 30 days period calendar then it more than 50% profits or sometime it is greater than that. When I see the calculation and know that I had zero % loss then I'm always happy about my trades. This is the way one should work if we can't afford to loos a lot of money.

I'm only getting like 5-10% max every day and most of the time the average is just 2%. It's kinda good assuming that I'm doing this out of my free time and as a hobby. Also, I don't get greedy and I've learned the art of stop-loss which works wonders especially if you're trying to trade a rising (or pumping) coin.

Because of the bcc, I use investment sites because bcc is the best profitable sites in different countries and it will last for a few years at least 20% up to 40%, although it will last as long as it lasts and it would be a lifetime that other people can afford, rather than some other investment, but it does not last long.

That means your monthly profit is approximately 30 to 60%. it is great mate if you make 30% also fine. Only an experts in trading can make this kind of stable profit. For me, there is no limit, and i will not do day trading. When I feel the price is high, i will sell my coins and buy when it comes down.

I couldn't say exactly about my profit since in trading, market situation varies every day.I mostly do day trading in altcoins since it best suits as the market is highly volatile.Since in day trading, very less margin is kept to get immediate profits and repeat the trade frequent times.i'm making a profit of approximately 10 to 15% of my invested amount monthly.

I dont do daily trade because not every day is a great day to  trade sometimes need to be patience to make profit, if my trade going smoothly usually I can earn 10% for a day, but sometimes less than that, for a long term trade I can  earn up to 30-50%, one of my advice is don't too greedy in taking profit, too greedy can cause you to lost everything

Depends on the price growth the profit is not fixed, it could be higher or lower according to the market and the coin you are trading or holding. However i have never estimated my daily profit because i rarely do short term trading with alts or BTC. Well i expect about more than 50% profit per month on my total investment, and every time i am able to achieve this target.

I don't calculate it on the daily basis as I am not the active trader. However, when it comes to the investment I do track it on a weekly basis and sometimes on a monthly basis but I do not interfere with the investment as I do maximum research before taking any investment decision thus even in the case of loss, I try to divert my mind from it and hence it results in average or above average profit down the road.

I dont have any fixed marging to trade neither to sell my coins, usually i do follow the market and try to see where wich coin can go into the next 3-6 hours and sure the volume is important soo i can choose the best coin. The last days i had made some decent transactions, when the price of bitcoin were 7900-8200 dollars, now since the price raised again im waiting and with some transactions frozen since the coin lost too much value, and instead i decide to sell im holding it hoping it to recover into the next days.

Every time I buy a coin or a token, I always see to it that I put the price I plan to sell it. 3% to 8% profit for me is enough. I already learned my lesson and I paid dearly by losing almost $1,000 USD. Nowadays even if profits is only 1.5%, I sell it right way. Well i expect about more than 50% profit per month on my total investment, and every time i am able to achieve this target.
it is much better if you have the target price that you must gonna do for cause it is hard if you dont have this kind of statement and also having some chart for when do you really wanted to buy cause it may help you to reach the 50% of your income and having a great profit with it.

Trading is not always ending with profit.
My profit about 15%. My target  is 30% monthly.
I buy the good coins and wait for my target to achieve

I do invest into coins with most times over 50% of my trading capital and I have been making above that 50% monthly trading in poloniex. However, I do make more than this percentage and some time below this range but on average I am above 50% per month.

the profit I get for the daily is never certain depending on the state of the market .. for a calculation of one month maybe about 20-30% of the investment .. yes I trade only when I'm not working so can not always be in front of the laptop
It is good that you trade not much in a month. Many people do day trading and this is the reason why people lose money too much in trading.

Trading is a proper business and profession, you need to know the history of coins in detail and their current market situation in order to trade with profit. Those who trade once or twice in a month make good money in trading. The profit you have mentioned is enough per month.

I do not do day trade so I don't know what is my daily profit.  I just hold BTC or any coins that I took interest.  I am not good at trading so I might as well hold and wait for the price to increase than taking advantage of the fluctuation.  I have tried it once though I can say I got a good profit but then it is very time consuming and since i have work to do, I stop trading and just wait for the coin to get bullish and sell at possible peak price.

What is your daily profit?
What percentage of your invested amount do you earn on an average (per day week or month)
It depends on the value of bitcoin, i only invested in bitcoin and planning to buy some altcoin which i know that has potential to increase its value since i have good enough bitcoin right now and investing in altcoin is the ideal way of method that i know to increase my income. I do not know how much the percentage i could get because i will make long term investment like 2 to 3 years of holding of altcoin before i sell it.

Maybe in my investment prefer short term despite the risk of losing, but I always do it and i think daily trading is good enough to increase growth of bitcoin we have and by using altcoin platform i opened the order with profit target of 0.1%/day and in my opinion this is quite effective for me now, albeit with low percentage but this doesn't disturb my emotional in trading.

I do not check it by daily because sometimes when you see your daily trade and you see your losing money you may do more bad trades. I do it monthly I have been trading in crypto for a few months and averaging $600 as of now.
Day trading is only for those that are very good at trading I see this all the time, people see that you can get a lot of profit with day trading and that is what they want to do not realizing that day trading is also the the more risky of all the forms of trade, if you are a beginner you should begin with something easier.

That's ok and you don't have to expect profit every single day. Even day traders have lots of daya without profit and even losses at times. I check mine only when there are updates or news that may cause my btcs to either go up or down. I'm more into holding btcs so i don't check it every now and then

Yeah every traders might lose their investment in a single time or more than that, To make a money trading is comparable like a gambling only you will not able to expect the money always. If the the price down after you opened the trade you will not get the money for it.
Some times if you wait for a complete day in that time we will in the situations like loose all money. We have to overcome all these experience to become a good trader.

Its difficult to count daily profit because profit in trading will be more easy to calculate in amonth. And I think will be profitable to do swing trading, buy and hold minimum a month, this is especially for crypto/token that has strong in fundamental. Because day trade sometimes need much time but the result not so much and can be loss too because many emotions come during trading.

Here everything depends on the way of trading: inside the day, on a short or investment. Accordingly, the percentage of earnings will be different. If you trade within a day, you can earn from 1-2% and more as it will.

That cannot be right, even if you started with a very low amount someone earning 10 to 20 percent daily will become rich in less than a year, so it is likely you are not counting the bad trades that all traders do once in a while in which they lose a lot of money.

Precisely. we can't really say how much money we earned in exact digits though we can see it each time we get some green, situations are
not the same each day sometimes we also loses big stake and we  needs add that from our portfolio's. trading is something that unpredictable
even pro sometimes make a misconceptions about their target movements.
