Title: Is this revenge porn? Or abuse of power?
Post by: PeterTheGrape on November 24, 2017, 08:45:07 PM
A republican Texas Congressman has gotten busted sending dicpics to much younger women.

Now he has gotten the Capitol police to investigate the person who published the images.

The law, of course, is meant to protect more vulnerable people from abusers, not abusers from more vulnerable people.

Should the U.S. instead just shortcut the process by criminalizing people who expose powerful politicians as hypocrites?

Yes. Some honesty at least.

Revenge porn restrictions are a violation of freedom of the press and freedom of speech.
