Out of those three I would go for DGC or WDC. Takes an enormous amount of buy support to move Feathercoin up even a small amount. DGC has a super active dev. WDC is dirt cheap.

Tbh Litecoin is the safest bet. No need to get too fancy and out-think ourselves here looking for clever trades, Litecoin promises to give some handsome rewards come mtgox listing day. Look how the price rose just on the basis of mtgox saying on facebook they are aiming for LTC support next month.

I am betting on FTC. It already has a relatively high value and is quite established. Plus there is a lot of development going on across the board.

The upcoming partnership announcement should also provide a nice boost.

Within 1 year a new coin will come out with better features. People supporting this coin will jump again and this popular coin now is just nuisance in the future.

BTW, I'd like to address one thing about "good, active developer" myth, one that is often mentioned with Baritus or Phenix guys because they made some services around their coin and that supposedly make them good developers.

Baritus is good marketer, he knows what people around here like and he is giving them that. People here have some crazy idea that few weeks old coins need services to be successful. It's one of the most stupidest ideas here. Services in phase any of these 3 and loads of other new coins are means fuck all. Nobody is buying FTC; DGC or WDC to buy something with them, everyone is buying them hoping they'll sell them for bigger price. Lot of these new coins got their auction/marketplace sites but fuck all is traded on them, it's mostly pure and empty marketing stuff.

I completely agree with this new Litecoin lead developer guy - developer's job is to take care about a code and secure network, not to run around promising people this or that new service trying to keep or rise his coin's market price. That's for example what Baritus is doing all the time - as soon as DGC is stagnating a bit, he comes here, make a thread about some new service he is working at and people get giddy, well, some of them :)

If developer designs good coin, keep caring about his job - code and securing the network, community will recognize that and services will come when it is the time for them to come. Litecoin barely has any services yet and it's not doing bad, isn't it? ;)

So, in one sentence - services are myth and they come when coin is proved to be successful, not as soon as coin is announced, they mean fuck all at that point. YOu can try to sell me whatever you want for WDC now, no chance I would buy anything with them with current WDC price, I don't want to sell them now and bought them to profit on them if the coin make it in the future so why would I buy anything with them at this point, I'd be moron to do that.

Opss, I missed that.. gonna be interesting to see what will come out of that but can think about thing or two that might be better than some site selling 200$ worth stuff per month.

Why do you think the market is all that's going to come out with Feathercoin? That's merely a minor tool released so people can easily trade things they might want with Feathercoin. Things don't all come and happen at once, it takes time for new things to come out. Just because you don't see/know of things going behind the scenes doesn't mean it's not going to happen. Same thing with Phenixcoin. And I'm sure there's things that WDC and DGC are working on at the moment as well. I think all the coins have a future to play in some part, but don't judge other coins because of what's out now, because all of them are young and all of them are still in the process of making themselves grow.

Rubbish. This is just copying Baritus idea when he announced Dgc and Arg were joining forces weeks ago. Before that noone thought of joining up coins and sharing resources. Baritus has some great unique services in development for dgc and arg. Great that he is now at the helm for development of both coins.

Arg and esp dgc have a very promising future ahead.

I was not referring to ftc but to any coin that it's holders think it will suddenly become great because someone made a site where people can buy and sell stuff paying with it. Well, it won't, at least not for some nice time or at least not until some serious establish site starts to accept it (like silkroad did for btc).

Coin success is looong way and it's mainly connected to coin design and network security. I've seen people talking about marketplace for 1 hour old coins, on the first page of coin announcement. It's an utter joke to think that will suddenly make the coin great. Some people are seriously deluded to think it though but most use stuff like that to promote the coin and hype it so the price could rise for their dump :)

Services will come when coin network is big and secure, there's no rush for it at all nor them are important is early stage of coins. And all of these few weeks old coins are in very early stage and all of them could be easily killed at this point by few big miners.
