Don't we wish ;)  No, I'm sure celebrities (except the Harvard twins) have no care nor desire for what bitcoin is.  They already "made it" on fiat alone.  NO NO, I think that poor folks and technophiles are the only ones aware of btc.  Oh and of course those silly pretentious bankers going "pish posh poppycock BTC!  A scammer scoundrel's Fantasy!"

I could be wrong tho...Give us your wallet address LEBRON!

I highly doubt he has a wallet address, the amount of press we would get if someone succesfully donated 10,000$ in bitcoins to Lebron James would be awesome. A good way to build Bitcoins popularity is getting celebrities to start accepting it!

Like another person pointed out, Lebron James is already mega rich, in fiat. He probably has no desire for Bitcoins, or to see them become successful. You can only dream..

He doesn't need any bitcoin donations, I say we pick a random homeless person and instead bombard them with hundreds or thousands of BTC and see what happens.

I don't get this thinking that because someone is already wealthy, they have no need for Bitcoin.

They might not have the same motivations as the rest of us, but surely they could still benefit from its use.

Also, they may be in support of what it stands for; honest money.

Don't we wish ;)  No, I'm sure celebrities (except the Harvard twins) have no care nor desire for what bitcoin is.  They already "made it" on fiat alone.  NO NO, I think that poor folks and technophiles are the only ones aware of XBT.  Oh and of course those silly pretentious bankers going "pish posh poppycock XBT!  A scammer scoundrel's Fantasy!"

Bitcoin isn't a way to "make it", and I seriously hope it stays that way. Bitcoin has many uses; "get rich quick scheme" should not be one of them.

In the meantime, let's hope that Kipochi (http://kipochi.com) takes off in Africa.

I see:

Bringing Bitcoin to Canada and the world

No mention of Africa there.
