The content of the message is pasted below: Hi jamie1029 I've replied to you: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2267392.0 I clicked on the link and it told me I need to log in as my session expired. I thought that was pretty weird as my session shouldn't have expired. I checked the link URL and it resolved to this address (CAREFUL, if it's a scam link then probably don't click) http://bitcointalk.org-index.php.actionprofileu.myrippleaddress.com/?u=jamie1029&r=868275.3580 Anyway, by this point it looks definitely a scam link, curiosity got the better of me so I put it a FAKE password to that link, I put '%^%$$ YOU SCAMMER'. Then after putting that in it redirected me back to my account (it didn't say incorrect password). So I just want your thoughts on the above. Definitely a scam link right? Has this happened to other people? I'm quite worried now. I didn't put my password in that link at all. But even visiting it... can I be sure there is no keylogger on my computer etc? I noticed it's a http link and not https.... |
