Hi,

Is there any wallet to store any coin? I mean coins with different protocols?

No wallet is able to store every coin, as they are all fundamentally different in some way. The closest you'll get is probably the Exodus wallet, which supports many currencies but has pretty high fees, or the ledger nano s, which can hold many cryptocurrencies at once through different apps.

We have hundreds, If not thousands of coins and more are coming out each few days, that's not something possible to develop and keep updating it. If you want to accept any ERC20 Token then use Myetherwallet. If you're speaking about different coins on different blockchains then Coinomi which supports the most of them, Jaxx and Exodus.

Is that ok to keep the coins in exchanges without transferring to wallet?

It's highly recommended to keep your coins in your own wallet. Exchanges have proved time and time again to be bad places to keep your money.

I recommend the wallet I'm using, the coinomi.It is multi-coin hd wallet which supports bitcoin,altcoins and tokens.In terms of security,privacy and aninomity,exchanges,transparency,user friendly,custom and dynamic fees,multilingual,natively supports 200 tokens and can even add all ethereum tokens manually, you can have it all in Coinomi.

If you don't mind, that your funds can get lost, then you can keep them on exchangers.
But I also would recommend wallets or multicoinwallets, where you keep private keys. For example Jaxx, as already suggested or coinomi.
The problem to keep your coins on exchangers is, that some like poloniex don't like it, to keep coins on their wallet for a longer time without trading. Another problem is, that exchangers delist coins or sometimes don't update their wallets for coins, if needed or update them late, so that you can't withdraw them. The third problem of holding cryptocurrencies on exchangers is, that you can't be sure, that they quit their services and keep your coins or simply scam you. Not every exchanger quits its service like novaexchange, that informed its users and provides a great service until a long planned end.

I would recomend you a hardware wallet like ledger nano s or blue... it can hold the majority of most famous crypto such as bitcoin, eth, bitcoin cash, neo, zcash, litecoin, stratis, etc.....

i personally use nano ledger s and jaxx but coinomi has support for many coins as well.

Using an exchange to store your coins is a VERY bad idea, especially in the long run. They can shutdown, be hacked or simply change policies to get really dumb policies like what Bittrex did very recently

mate is right,its impossible to put all the coins inside single wallet there's different
Protocols for every group of coins so better check whats better for every coins that you
May have.

And another thing that its not safer to put all coins in one wallet the security is at risk
Because lots of scammers and hackers around the whole community now,if you become
A victim that uses single wallet the Bad one is a lucky man having many coins in single victim

sorry for the follow up question but can you use Ledger nano to "sweep" your bitPay or bread wallet ? or have to move the BTC over by sending it?

Every coin have their own wallet.

There is so many different coins it depends on the platform like using a waves wallet for a coin or better use MEW compatible for all ERC20 token its recommended mostly. Just avoid to be mistake giving your private keys.
