Right now it's around $9100. It's increasing super fast. So what is gonna happen in 2-3 years ?

Well in my opinion the price of bitcoin will increase for around $30,000 - $50,000 dollars in maybe 2-3 years and not really bad. I think that while the price of it keep higher and higher the investor will somewhat become afraid the it will suddenly decrease or stop. So hoping that it will reach at $100,000 and suddenly will not will be a huge impact in the mind, regret, disappoinment for a person. While only thinking for a small value and reach a higher amount will become joy and grateful.

Even if it stops at $10k, it made a huge impact on a lot of lives already. This bitcoin and blockchain is killing centralisation (which is good!), it skyrocketed to seemingly impossible hights.. and im part of it  :o

yes i want to have a lot of money for my future. for whatever bitcoin I am confronting with bitcoin .for the time comes days.

I guess the main question is how long this bull market can keep going until reversal kicks in and we're facing a new bear market.

It sounds crazy, but despite the amazing increase in price BTC's growth has been surprisingly sane and stable. I honestly don't see the BTC train stopping anytime soon, yet I know there must be some major correction further down the road. It's both scary and amazing.


So what's going to happen? I currently see 3 possible scenarios:

1) We reach USD 10k,-. Everybody's happy and goes home, crypto enters a bear market until we see a new rush in 3-4 years.

2) We reach USD 10k,-. BTC goes batshit insane, hits something like USD 30k,- only to spectacularly crash down to... USD 10k,-.

3) BTC keeps its growth level up because everybody that wanted to dump already took their profits and the remaining sellers sell only so little amounts that they get absorbed by the market more or less immediately.

I really don't know, if it keeps going at this rate this time next year everyone will be rich but I really cannot see it continuing at this pace without a few dropbacks.

I would like to say in 3 years time we will be looking at $50,000 but that is pure speculation.

As a believer in bitcoin technology, I hope bitcoin price will continue to rise with more and more people entering the market.
The ultimate goal of bitcoin is not to be worth any amount in $, it's to take place of $ and other fiat currencies. If bitcoin reaches this goal, then $ won't be worth much, bitcoin will worth more than 100k$, but we won't care as $ won't be used anymore. Bitcoin value will then be evalued with this question : what can you buy with 1BTC? A newspaper, a week's food basket for a family, a car, a house...

That could happen because the price of Bitcoin is unpredictable. over the past year we have seen significant Bitcoin price movements, even price increases up to hundreds of percent. so it's not impossible when you say that Bitcoin's price could reach 100K $, it just takes time and we'll reach that much price tag in the next few years.

It really could become worth that much in a decade's time, if the technology really takes off. I am not sure that this current rally will take it there. We definitely will have corrections on the way and weak hands will be shaken out. If Bitcoin becomes dominant in trade transactions, we could be reaching for the moon.

It is hard to predict what's gonna happen in 2-3 years but one thing is for sure, it is too early for btc to reach 100k$ in the future. I think it wont go up that much next year considering it has been going up a lot recently. It would not be healthy for bitcoin to have continuous price growth, if it continues as is next year, I am sure we will see another big dump by 2019 or maybe earlier than it. The best thing to do for now is to hodl and wait for the right time to sell.

all of us want a lot of money but we have no idea if there's a Posibility. and no one can predict if bitcoin will continue to climb after 2017. Maybe it will fall gain cause bitcoin always fluctuated maybe soon it will collapse before bitcoin reach 11k or 10k. Its to hard to predict mate.

Don't Speculate something we are not sure about, I think the hype is really on with bitcoin after the Bitcoin Cash had arising controversy that some users can't convert their BCH over other Cryptocurrency and to fiat, that is why I think the hype right now reverse back to bitcoin, but I think the $30,000 to a $50,000 is not possible to reach this year and I think let's just think for it in the next year, and because I think if the price of bitcoin will continue a bullish state we can reach the $10,000 value in the month of December.

It's possible anything can happen in bitcoin especially when your engage in buy and sell industry in which the price dependa upon the law of supply and demand as of now with price now moving closer to 9,000 maybe at around 5 or 10 years bitcoin can achieve 100,000 USD. As for now can only hope that by the end of december 2017 bitcoin price will reached as high as or maybe higher than 10,000.

This rally at this point is purely driven by speculation, and then I am referring to greedy people getting more greedy, and also the potential approval of CME's Bitcoin futures which will allow institutions to jump on board. In case of the latter, it somewhat justifies the market to hold its position, but this will change once it becomes clear that there is no authorative approval at all.

I am more thinking about how older hands will act once we're close to the important $10K level, which is a massive mental barrier, and thus could give them incentive to unload some of their holdings. But as I said earlier, the awaiting approval could be working as a stimulance to continue supporting current higher levels. Everyone looks forward to what the CFTC will come up with.

Explain 'trade transactions'.

I think it would be possible that bitcoin price will hit 100k$ as long as there would be no hindrances for the super fast increasing rate of bitcoin price. It is just amazing seeing the bitcoin grows fastly. So if I were you I will hold all my bitcoin and wait until the price will hit this price.

Even the price of the bitcoin continue to increase maube the price of the bitcoin after 2 to 3 years will be 20k dollars plus. I think 100k dollars is possible but it less percentage to happen because that price is very high it takes few years more before they reach that. We can't know when it happen and if it's really happen. We only give prediction not really happen.

In 2 to 3 years from the bitcoin community will expand its popularity by 50% more and the investors will triple its number than today.. So the price will soon be on 20000$ to 40000$ at that time.. Bitcoin will influence the educational system and the financial thinking of every person will change to centralized to a more open to revolutionary and decentralized manners even the bankers enthusiast..

Yes I believe it will go to 100k within 3-5 years.

I do believe the price will reach $100k in 2-3 years and in that time, I guess new people will be difficult if they want to buy bitcoin because the price is too expensive. in exchanges, I think many people will attract to buy and sell bitcoin and they want to make a big profit from bitcoin. in this 2 month, I see bitcoin price increases with fast like you said and this year is for bitcoin because many people are trying to get involved in bitcoin.

We all are so impressed because of the last pumps, so nobody can reply this without some ilutions on our minds.

But no, i dont think that it will be more than one hundred thousand of dollars in a near future, because it is impossible. Maybe it can reach more than $50, and we all agree with this, but $100k... it seems a little bit difficult to happen.

Anyway, we all should put our max effort to try to understand that bitcoin will only rise as much as the governments and banks allow it to rise, if they want, they can just try to spread as much fud as they want and bitcoin will go down again to it's dip.

$9,300 right now and it can not stop going up! This is incredible guys, do you really think that it will be touching more than $10,000 by tomorrow? Remember that tomorrow is Monday, and all the Brokers and Banks opens their trading assets during mondays (well, sundays at 8pm)
It is going up so fast, i dont know if it will be touching more than 100k, but everything can happen when you talk about bitcoin, it just made more than x11 during this year, everything is possible looking at the recent facts.

I've been saying this for some time. I think crypto parity with the gold market cap is the short term (<5 year) target. Gold is worth 7.8 trillion. I believe bitcoin will hold about 66% of the cryptocurrency value, thus bitcoin market cap will be about 5 trillion = $238,000 per coin (at 21 million coins) or $300,000 at current coins (31x upside). So yes, I think 100k is easy. I think $238k per coin is low once bitcoin becomes better than just a store of value.

The only real question is when. We had a long 3 year stretch of no growth (although a lot came out from the devs). 

If not caused by a real bubble, price should be around $100k somewhere by 2021. Considering that the market was less than 1M people big by the end of the year, there is more than enough room for growth in the near future.

It can right now we are seeing bitcoin achieve another milestone by reaching a $10k value I have been here when the price is still $1800 and we are arguing if ever bitcoin can reach a $10k price now bitcoin succeed in reaching it, so bitcoin having a $100k in the future is possible as long as we continue to support and developers continue to organize and create a good fundamental for it.

It is not impossible that bitcoin will reach to $100k in the future since bitcoin price is increasing so fast now.  Maybe in 3-4 years bitcoin will reach that amount so we better hold our bitcoins to have a huge profit.

That's true. Whatever value it peaks and halts in, it has already played a big part in the market and is continuing to do so to this days. No one can really say what will happen in the future, but if you would follow the trends, then you can say that if something happens that would amplify the value increase of bitcoin, then you can say that it reaching that value may very well be possible.

After seeing the progress after 8000$ now every eye is watching toward the next thousand milestone and bitcoin is conquering the people attention toward itself and now 100k seems to be possible in next few years and sooner or later bitcoin will be the most precious currency of the world and now people are expecting more profit to come so that they can fulfill their desire that are connected to the bitcoin progress.
