Title: Armory won't send without crashing? Post by: bitcoinpreneur on June 30, 2013, 02:55:43 AM As the title suggests every time I attempt to send funds with Armory it is crashing. My first guess was a memory problem after reading the comments in this section however I monitored Windows Task Manager and it only got to 62% of 4GB on x86 laptop when it happened. It leaves a new change address each time but no transfer appears to be actioned.
What is the best way to move these funds into another client (preferably the official QT) using just the Paper Backup? Title: Re: Armory won't send without crashing? I like Armory but need more stability for transaction wallets!
Title: Re: Armory won't send without crashing? Post by: picobit on July 02, 2013, 06:57:45 PM It is probably a resource issue, Armory requires 64-bit and cannot run in only 4GB. Reportedly, a new version will soon be released solving these problems.

Post by: Todamont on July 30, 2013, 01:07:19 AM I was just considering installing the Armory client, but I noticed the warning about stability and needing 64-bit and at least 4GB of RAM. That was dated May 2013 and said it would be fixed in a "few weeks". Soooooo, then... Things are stalled? Problem was harder to solve than anticipated? What is all that RAM being used for?
