I am using only shapeshift to exchange some altcoins without having to carry with a huge risk, it is very safe for me because i dont have to register and login in order to create a new transaction.

Maybe it is one of my favourites exchanges because of that feature, and the fees are not expensive, so i really prefer this instead of poloniex and bittrex, which both are very risky exchanges and you can get your account closed at any time.

And when i have to exchange ethereum/btc i almost use the function that MyEtherWallet has to convert between those altcoins, it is very fast compared to other exchanges.

Poloniex, i dont have my account verified but that is one of the only exchanges that i am trusting right now.

Bittrex has closed my account because i did not had it verified, they asked me for an enhanced verification but i did not had any replies from them so far, so i consider all those funds lost right now.

Trading on Polo is a little bit risky because the same that happened on bittrex can happen in here, but i dont know, i am still trusting in this exchange and i will keep trading at least with this tiny amount of bitcoins that i am trading right now.

Nobody knows if it is going to close soon, but this seems to be the most reliable exchange at the moment.

Ouch, Shapeshift has got to have some pretty steep fees -- plus the fact that you're going to be sending money to each of the addresses to be able to get different altcoins and Bitcoin so that's going to be an insane amount of network fees -- even if you're getting the protection of getting the coins for yourself, that's pretty steep in fees. Let me know how that is....

Many available good exchange now, but to choose good exchange will full regulation is better. Iam personality used Bittrex, Poloniex, Cryptopia and decentralized exchange EthereDelta. All these is good because nothing problem with them, but especially for Bittrex should be full verified account first to enable withdraw. And much easier trading in Cryptopia because no need personal verification to start trading by withdraw limit $5,000 aday.

I only use Bittrex and EtherDelta , because in my experience these exchange is better, because for Bittrex they has good support, full regulation,  double security when login + 2fa , nothing problem with withdrawal for verified account. And for EtherDelta, I like this exchange because we keep the private key and no need verification. EtherDelta good exchange especially for trade ERC20 Token.

I use poloniex and changelly often times. Other platforms may not permit you to trade without verifying account but here at poloniex, i never uploaded documents for verification and there are no restrictions on my account.
While using changelly, only an email is enough to experience their exchange services anonymously between multiple crypto coins

if I use a lot of exchanges, but what I think is easy is poloniex and bittrex. a lot of people from different countries who use both trading platforms I think. trading volume and lots of altcoin available. but for now I more often use bittrex, because after poloniex often exposed ddos, the more difficult to deposit and widthdraw some coins. rope for now I still have not tried again in poloniex, whether it has been fixed or not....

I have used the following exchangers and the are good for me: https://poloniex.com, I used this because it is one of the most trusted and reliable trading platforms as far as cryptocurrencies markets is concerned. http://c-cex.com is also one of the platform I used and I do patronise them because of speed in transactions. https://livecoin.com is the third platforms I used and I like them for having many altcoins on their platforms.

I use for trading the altcoins to bincoin: binance and bittrex. For trading the altcoins to USD: bitfinex.
Many people write that there are problems with bittrex, and there are fears about bitfinex.
I had no problems on these exchanges.

Changelly isn't a trading platform. It is a mere exchange where one cryptocurrency is converted to another. There is no buying and selling done there.

OP, notably Poloniex is your best bet although it isn't among the top 10 in terms of market cap as listed on the CMC. It is just that over the years it has shown transparency with its dealings among it subscribers and that is why many here are giving the site thumbs up. Coinexchange is good too for its easy use and numerous available coins.

This is going to be my first time of hearing about lykke exchange though. I would not call it the best at this stage since it is quite new and I can see that it still has very few trading pairs based on cryptocompare. Being a semi-decentralized exchange though, I am still trying to figure out how the semi comes in. It has very few reviews as well, so I guess we just have to chill and see how the platform is going to turn out before we start referring to it as best. For now, poloniex and bittrex seems to be doing it for me.

I have my own set of personal preferences when it comes down to exchanges, mostly depending on the volume and the coins.

If I'm swapping a small amount Bitcoin to altcoins, I would be using Cryptopia or Liqui. Etherdelta is also on my list of choices for ERC20 tokens.

If I'm looking to buy into an altcoin with a decent sized investment, Poloniex and Bittrex are my first picks and with the latter being used more often for the volume and fast support system.

Each exchanger has their own advantages and disadvantages.
I would say bittrex and poloniex are good choice and they are very big exchanger.

I use mostly Bittrex and Poloniex for trading, but I never keep any coins on the exchange, when I'm done trading I just withdraw.
Recently Bittrex requested verification to be able to withdraw coins, which is a pretty dumb move in my opinion, but I went ahead and got verified.

Never had any problems like that on Poloniex, but they do have a lot of maintenance on certain of their wallets and their support is pretty slow.

Binance, or hitbtc. Both very reliable exchange site in this time. As you can see about a lot of people are trusting it right now. but another good thing about there is no a lot of the requirement to trade in there and the limit for new registered user should bigger than another site. in bittrex or polo you must try to do a verification with your credential idendity.

The whole account closing has been crazy these days but I have heard about some closing of accounts on poloniex too before though it has never happened to me since I always like verifying my accounts upfront after some experiences with exchanges for a while now.

However, you may still be lucky with bittrex and if you have an account on twitter, you will do yourself some good contacting them directly there as I noticed they have been fast with their twitter call outs.

What displeases others might not displease another; it might be in favor of you, but not in favor of others. That’s why I don’t normally take what people says, once I see that something is good I stick with it rather jumping from one place to the other.

My first was Coinbase, and I have been using it for three good years now without issues. I haven’t used Shapeshift and GDax, I do see a lot of people complain about Shapeshift, so I don’t know if it will be a good thing to try it out.

This is the basic thing, as there are few problems on global trading platforms recently such as Bittrex and poloniex.
I haven't use bittrex since few months ago, and prefer to use local exchange in my country.
But, in case of some new coins, there are some good trading platforms such as livecoins, Hitbtc and etherdelta.

I used our local exchanger mostly for services that I want to use my bitcoin.

For trading platforms, the first one I tried is Bitfinex for bitcoin trading. I was fine doing trades there but they experienced 'hacked' issues along the way but still I continue to used them. I don't remember when the year was but they experienced again that 'hacked' issues and after that they convert my bitcoin balance into a token. Such a dissapointment then I leave.

I transfer to Poloniex and my experienced is good. Heard lots of complaints about poor support and freeze account but never experienced one of thos so I can say that I will still use this platform. To minimize the risks of freeze account just in case, I used Bittrex. Lately I have read some withdrawals problem in this platform and anyone was being asked to do enhanced verification. Before that I able to withdraw some of my funds so I don't have left there. I decided now not to used their platform for the moment. Using also Cryptopia platform because some of my coins are listed there. No such thing I heard some negative complaints about them, I can withdraw freely anytime without any issues and everything was smooth using this platform. For now they are the "best".

To be honest I am designer, developer as well as fascinated about cryptocurrencies, so I have build easy and simple UI and UXwith help of Shapeshift named BitPayment. I use it myself for exchanging altcoins by swapping. I even recommend it to newbies.

I personally starts with Yobit. But after then used literally every major exchanger. Bittrex, Poloniex, Bleutrade, Kraken, HitBTC, C-Cex, Cryptopia, Coinexchange.io, Livecoin.net, Novaexchange.

But I’m having a second thought on Poloniex after seeing lots of people complain about them. I haven’t seen anyone complain about Cryptopia, so they might be pretty good.

EtherDelta being a decentralized exchange have always tripped me and I really hope we have some other decentralized exchanges like this popping up. The only minus now is you can only trade ETH with other tokens even though it is understandable.

All the above, it is still cool to me since you can just do your thing and move your ETH out to buy any other coin like BTC or the rest on any other exchange if you wish.

I am currently using bittrex. I must say that their platform is user friendly for new traders like me. I've invested for just 6 months and it has helped me made some profit. I don't have any issues on withdrawals  besides the transaction fee. It was pegged at approximately 10$ (yep its too high).  Also I have my account as enhanced activated and 2FA so I think my account is safe (isn't it?). After hearing some deactivated accounts, I was alarmed but I personally think  it is because of some of them are not trading and using their account as online wallet.

Thats great I tried in livecoin.net and bitrex site to trade the multiple coins.
I see that livecoin is so faster in trading and you can open and close the trade according to the price you find in the set value in the trading site. If you want to make more money you can choose the own value and if it is accepted by the other they will take your trade and exchange it to your btc wallet or other coins you want to get the crypto changed.

Localbitcoins.com is a very good p2p bitcoin exchange for beginners who want to buy for the first time. The service is around the world, meaning you can use euro, pound, yen, Australian dollar, swiss, franc, Canadian dollar, krona, ruble, lira, rupee and so on. If you pay with physical money then you can meet people in real life. Or you can make a bank transfer quickly and this site will save your coins in escrow for you.

Shapeshift have actually really helped a lot most especially since most of the wallets with inbuilt exchanges have integrated them to enable make use of the functions within their wallets. I have been using Exodus for a while now and I really like the fact that I have a decentralized wallet with an exchange which makes it extremely cool without having to go through main web exchanges directly.

Many exgangers are trading platforms are there but which one you prefer and which one is the best?
So far, I have only been making use of bittrex and poloniex, which as far as I am concerned, they are good exchanges most especially for trading. However, I have not tried other exchanges and I cannot really say if there are other better ones, so I would say probably until then. I have heard of binance and bitfinex though, so I feel it all depends on each individual.

The only exchange platform I've been using right from time is Poloniex  and I can assure you it is a really good exchange platform. Though I've heard of bitfinex and bittrex, I haven't tried them before so I can't say if they are better than than Poloniex.
I think it will be better to try each of them out to know which is actually better.

I have used bittrex for many years and I haven't had any single hitch on my account or trading. Etherdelta is totally new concept in trading. Decentralised exchange may be the future, so I am on it also.

Many do not like Yobit, but I have used it for years and it has never given me a problem, they have always answered my support and I really like their system because it is easy to operate.
For small trade Yobit is very good, but if you want to trade with high quantities I recommend Poloniex and Bittrex, they are exchanges with high demands of exchanges and bigger amount of currencies.
Be careful because you are now beginning to create fake exchanges (SCAM) and you may end up at a loss.

For altcoin trading, Bittrex & binance are going good. For early buying Eth based tokens, EtherDelta is good.

Before I was using Poloniex, but then it turned out they are ignoring their users so I switched to Bittrex but their UI is really slow an clunky so I'm thinking about moving to Binance.

Stay away from Yobit, they are the shadiest exchange I have ever seen.

For bitcoin, litecoin and ethereum and trading high amounts my favorites are GDAX and Bitstamp, I also use Kraken but it is too unstable.

For every other altcoin out there, Poloniex, Bittrex, Cryptopia are pretty good.

You might have to use some other exchanges because coins aren't listed every where.

I use 4 exchange for my day trade, those is Poloniex, Bittrex, EtherDelta and Cryptopia. I use 4 exchange because I think will be more safe if we divide fund in to 4 if any happen with that exchange. But mostly I like is poloniex because the trading fee is smaller compared with the others. And for the charting i use Trading View site , this site is very well to learn about technical analysis because available many kind of indikator and the display is bright.

I agree with you but Etherdelta I think is less efficient. still need some improvements and additional features. etherdelta is also not fully decentralized.

i used to use bittrex but after all shit happens i decided to use Binance and shapeshift mostly , changing my money with out a thirdparty , i dont trust any exchange, have u heard of MTGox ?
just dont trust them!
Normally, if not for trading purposes, which is advisable for anyone to trade with what they can afford to lose, these exchanges are all centralized exchanges and anything can happen.

I personally would not want to wake up one day and the incident of what happened to MtGox, happening to most of these exchanges. Because of that anyway, I have learnt to use multiple exchanges and with the help of coinigy, I get to trade on all of them easily. Bittrex, poloniex, Bitfinex and Cryptopia are my options for now and I can keep myself going with these ones.

Hitbtc and etherdelta are the platform I use in trading. These platforms are easy to use. I'm also finding interest on poloniex and bittrex but I'm still used to those two I've mentioned earlier.
Etherdelta has been a good exchange only for tokens anyway so I would not consider it a general exchange since ETH is the main crypto that you can trade the tokens with. Still, it has been a fun exchange to trade once you get use to the platform.

HitBTC for me on the other hand, I really do not trust, but the truth is just that no exchange can really be trusted anyway except that some like Yobit and this one, have some funny way of doing things. I have been using Bittrex and Poloniex, and I am just OK with these ones.

Bittrex is one of the biggest exchange that is most used, I have also use this exchange for almost a year now. So far I havent encountered any problem the site is good and many traders are very active on this exchange.

Etherdelta is one of the trusted exchanges and trading platform and many people have suggested us to used it. I have been using it for a year and I agree that it still need improvements especially for the environment. For additional features, I think it will be good if the price chart can have more history like the graph can be set to show weekly price changes, this way the data for the volatility of the price will be shown clearly. Even though Etherdelta needs improvements I will still use it as platform anyway because the security here is much better.

From my own experience, bittrex is the best among of all but not good if you are making withdrawals oftenly due to high transsaction fee. I also used poloniex which has cheap transaction fee compare to other but after hearing lots of comments on their service I got frightened and stop using it. Now, most of the time I am trading on hitbtc.

Since I was involved in the BTC/Fiat trade a few months ago, I was using Localbitcoins to offer multiple payment options to the buyers as well as sellers. Thus, my personal favourite exchange for BTC/fiat trade is Localbitcoins but when it comes to stocks, commodities, forex I use 1Broker as I find it user-friendly and optimized and never faced any issue so far with both of these exchanges. I invest in Altcoins but rarely trade in it so I use Changelly to buy alt-coins, it is little costly yet user-friendly way in my opinion.

What happen on bittrex? They used to be the one of the trusted exchange site but after those disabling account some of the traders maybe i will find another site.
Recently, a lot of accounts were locked without notifications and then the users of the accounts were asked to verify their accounts. Some were not able to pass through the verification process and since they could not, all effort to reach support has been a crazy one as they cannot redo the verification process after the first one.

It has been crazy, though I was not affected but I can imagine what it has been like for some. Though this happened to accounts that were opened after the BCH fork.

I used Poloniex, Bittrex and Cryptopia. These exchange is good and I never problem with them. But Bittrex and Cryptopia has higher trading fee and higher withdrawal fee than Poloniex, but in Bittrex more altcoin available to trade . When I first jumped to Crypto trading I used Poloniex and until now this exchange still my favourite one.
Except for the support which can still be managed, poloniex has always done it well asides bittrex. Even bittrex support is already becoming an eye sore these days which I guess started since they decided to lock a whole lot of accounts without notifying them. Moreover, these two exchanges including Bitfinex work well for me and just using my API on coinigy web apps, I am just pretty good to go.

I guess what works mainly for bittrex is the quantity of coins that are available there compared to other exchanges. Though i find polo easier to use and an on time support is really important. Guess it depends on the person trading because different people will be having issues with both of these exchanges

Many exgangers are trading platforms are there but which one you prefer and which one is the best?
I think now there are a lot of platforms that platform for you to trust and participate in. You need to know the exact and specific information you need to learn from the experience to learn. This is a new arena and there are many risks you take cautiously.
