Title: NFL Discussion and Picks
Post by: krach on November 27, 2017, 09:11:14 AM
I have not noticed a NFL discussion thread. If there is already one then let me know.

Who do you guys have for tonights Monday night football?

Houston Texans vs Baltimore Ravens

I dont like laying -7.5 with the Ravens and I might just go with under 38. Even though that is a low total neither team is really producing a lot points.

On the weekend Jacksonville losing rekt some of my teasers.

I'm favoring the over for no good reason just my random prediction and the public is on it too I think they could score more than 40. I have the Raven's spread as my second bet. The home team usually win by more than 6 pts nice information thanks to flashscore.

Yesterday I was about to win all of my bets until the Jags ruined it. Ended up breaking even with a couple of dollars worth of profit.

For the Monday night matchup tonight, I could see Houston not only covering the spread but winning it. I will be placing bets on both the Money line and taking the +7.5 closer to game time. Good luck tonight everyone! I think it should be a pretty good game.

This is my 3rd year in trying to guess which NFL teams will be winners each week, and by far the most chaotic. IIRC, there were many injuries last year. Some games had ridiculously high statistics for injury. Players may be more conservative this year, more safety conscious and less averse to taking risks. Politics involved in players kneeling to protest the national anthem could also be creating behind the scenes drama affecting play.

Here are some plays I've done ok with this season.

#1  Fade San Francisco
#2  Fade Cleveland Browns
#3  Cleveland Browns points under (not as effective with the points being lower than in the beginning of the season)

At the beginning of the year I picked the Vikings to go over 11 wins.  Right now its looking pretty good might get a decent payout on it even.  3 more wins and I am in the money!

Thursday Night Football will start later I want to know which team are you leaning on?

I'm taking the Redskins -1.5 for a better payout. The Cowboy aren't showing any signs of life all of their 3 losses this month weren't even close 6-28 against the Chargers, 9-37 against the Eagles, 27-7 against the Falcons. If we compare that to the Redskins loss against the Saints (34-31) and Vikings (lost by 30-38).
