What Altcoins that are now under $8 do you think will be worth over $50+ in 2018?

OMG and WTC are the only coins that come to mind. Both have real world applications being tested now and both are leaders in their fields

Why do not you choose the low value coin but big market and many people invest in it like dgb, ripple or sys. If you choose coin over $ 8 I see not much coin will reach $ 50 next year.

I have tried to analyze the following altcoins and I think about 80% of them will be above $50 in 2018. One of those coins is lisk, lisk has outperform others coins of it class this year 2017, in October, lisk was below $4 but went as high as $11 in this November. Wave that is currently bellow $6 will also make the list of those coins that will trade above $50! Wave has one of the best technology and teams I think 2018 is going to favor this coin. Miota, ripple should also be in the list to watch.

my predictions is Lisk and waves has a lot of potential to reach $50 in 2018

stratis and lisk these two coins are under 8 us dollar in current market. But these coins are only little amount of raise is possible in future. So we don't predict the above 50 us dollar in 2018. This is impossible in these types coins. So better you choose cheap altcoins or high rate altcoins. These kind of altcoins are high profit percentage in 2018.

Waves and XRP are my suggestion and expecting the coin which can grows more than 50 USD in some months. There are many people trusting to bitcoin and ethereum for long time but altcoin investors are looking to choose the same kind of effect with the potential currency which will grows more than expected in some months or an year.

In that aspects XRP market place supply is very large and it is being top 5 ranks in the coinmarketcap list too for the past 6 months more. So we will surely expects the this coin reach 100 USD also in the same day next year. Waves also shows the decent growth.

haha..that's probably the most ridiculous valuation I've ever heard. How can you even think that XRP will reach $100? Or you just post some random shit and hope noone will read it?

And since we all are speculating wildly here, I say NXS will be close to $50 by the end of 2018.

I think if I would gamle on anything that will rise BIG time next year... It would be VTC and DEEPONION that are currently under $10. They are coin with great growing potential. VTC for being here for a looong time and it's continues developement. It's been shooting higher and higher for last few months with ACIS tech under it's belt I think it's on the right way. DEEPONION is still young but got some really nice features with more underway. Current price is just above $1,50. Great community, great developement and still doing airdrops so it's never to late to get involved :) I could see this one also rise pretty much % vise :) Not sure if they can reach $50 but they sure thing are going to atempt it if it's possible :)

I think that SHIFT is a winner and will go places and possibly TRIG but in this game any coin could take off in 2018 and probably will be the one you don't hold.

I rely on lisk and OMG. I can also add kyber, but it costs 1.1 usd

if the project will gain more support from different countries, powerledger is your best bet. it will not gain upto 50$ per token, but right now, it has a value of .75$. if this one hits 5$ next year. Surely it is more profitable than other altcoins.

I am BTC, ETH and LTC holder. And i am thinking about to have 5 more altcoins. Which are;

Einsteinium (EMC2)

Bancor (BNT)

Ripple (XRP)

Dogecoin (DOGE)

MonaCoin (MONA)

All of them has low price and i guess very suitable for buy and wait.

Adex and taas are under $10 at the moment and their teams are working accurately to develop and advertise their platforms. They can be the answers of your questions here. If we see pumps in altcoins, these two will make it up.

I think OMG, Waves, Lisk, Tenx and Komodo will be hit $50 next year, most of these projects will benefit from Bitcoin huge price increase next year because BTC will drag them up also

For me, I think those altcoins under $10 who have the best chance to go up to $50+ in value would be lending/staking type coins. Bitconnect is a good example. It was launched on the market last February 2017, and now it's worth $295+ after 9+ months only. Regalcoin is now at $40+ after just a few months. Lending/staking type coins such as Ethconnect, UCoinCash, Homeblockcoin, Nucleus Coin and Legend Coin are going to end up like Bitconnect's, and there's no doubt they will fly to the moon for at least few months to a year.

10 to 50 is about a 400-500% return, which is not a lot in crypto terms. What you should keep away from is BTC and ETH because these coins are unlikely to deliver such great performence. Good candidates in my opinoin are the top five coins, anything in the top five-ten has good potential to double or triple in value. Anytime you go beyong the top ten coins you increase your chances of having a better return but at the same time you risk on being wrong and losing all of your investments. 2018 overal will be a great year because it will most likely attract the biggest publicity and everyone will want to get involved in BTC and everyone will eventually learn about other options and altcoins. Considering that I think you can't go wrong with NEO, XRP, LTC and such coins.

@Shift not sure about 50$ but i expect it to move in the x3 - x10 range in the next few month!

Bullish on Peercoin (PPC). First PoW/PoS hybrid coin, is starting to pick up a bit as miners alternate between it and BTC for profit, which in turn has been increasing the PoW difficulty and needing to raise the price PPC is sold at for a profit on exchanges like Bittrex. Still has an active development team and once cold minting is put into place, should get more people into it as they won't be relying on keeping wallets live to mint PoS blocks.

While it hasn't skyrocketed as quickly as quite a few other altcoins have recently, there ought to be a correction upwards as supply from PoW blocks starts to tighten with the increasing mining difficulty. Considering it's reached about $5.50 back in the days of $300 dollar bitcoins, $50+ shouldn't be out of the question in terms of being achievable as miners will need to sell at higher amounts to remain profitable.

You beat me to it. The amount of people in this thread who said XRP is downright shocking. It just shows how many crypto followers have zero knowledge of the even the most basic of concepts. It would be an absolute impossibility for XRP to reach $50 (and especially $100) within the next year. I just HOPE all the folks who said XRP are trolling/joking ... For their sake.

 I am not sure that SHIFT will hit >50$ but it is compared to WAVES and STRAT still way undervalued so i think it will give a even better profit than those two.
