Germany is a traditional leader in the production of wind turbines. All the most innovative equipment in this industry is produced here. The total capacity of Germany's own wind farms - currently 45.2 GW, which is about a third of the total capacity of wind parks in the whole of the European Union. The development of wind power in such EU countries as the UK, Italy, France is associated, first of all, with the gradual abandonment of the use of atomic energy.
