There are also people building custom open source miners that use the Avalon Asics. I myself am designing a board that can be populated with these chips and put in a network rack. Sure with I could shake this newb status, 4 hours takes so long :-\

There is a note on these guys in the mining -> mining and speculation board with reference to coincanary.org Website has some oddities - for instance they claim to be based in the UK in Lincolnshire , however their contact details point to an address in Oregon, USA.. Also the pictures on their site look an awful lot like BFL 5GHz models only in grey rather than black (photoshop?) Pricing looks good (its comparable with BFL before the price hike) - but I would wait until they have confirmed they are shipping at this stage before placing an order with them.
