I dont think butcoin is cirrupting kids at all, in fact it's probably helping educate kids on currency, investments, and general oersonal finance. The fundamental objectives Bitcoin was created to achieve address very real cincerns with our current monetary and banking system. Everyone should be aware of these real concerns and Bitcoin helps with that awareness.

I don't understand you poll, the options you provide aren't answers to your question.

This way the prime minister should be worried about the kids been given money, this way they should be isolated on a planet without anything else that might cause their behavior to spoil.

As far as bitcoins is concerned it is genuinely not different than money thus just because it is a cryptocurrency doesn't mean people will find new ways to proving how cryptocurrency isn't fit for the world and stuff..

bitcoin will affect our future generations. but bad or good will depend on how the state manages it. if the state management is weak. Children will be affected by bitcoin

I think .. bad influence or influence depends on the government bitcoin management, if the government has no plan to manage the bitcoin, or does not control it, maybe the future generation will be affected

If He is worried about bitcoin corrupting kids the best thing to do is ensuring that there is proper education of the general public about bitcoin, making sure the people understand the advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin.

i can see some worries about bitcoin because it is a new thing and it is decentralized and is somewhat anonymous and because of that it is hard to trace or control unlike fiat. that much is understandable but to say things like this, about "corrupting kids" is just dumb. and of course the media is always exaggerating the reality a little and when it comes to bitcoin they make it even bigger and make it more dramatic.

Kids? or teens? However I don't see any traces that Bitcoin corrupts our mind. I am also a kid and Bitcoin teaches me to fix my grammar to be able to  converse well on different forum, Bitcoin also pushes me to learn how to save money and know how to invest on certain alt coin, I am just a kid and yet i am learning about this things and learning these things is not corruption but rather a Knowledge that makes a kid grow and be ready to face this cruel life.

Bitcoin cannot corrupt any one unless a person on his own want to corrupted. Children instead of playing they started playing in bitcoin with this they are not dependent for their small needs and their knowledge about currency transaction bankdealings everything is increasing basically their knowledge about the world is increase which is better for us as we will a better and a matured future citizens for out country so Korean Prime minister should be happy that their citizens are growing with knowledge.

Wow, their government has found another angle on how to say Bitcoin causes more harm to society than good. But what can they really do? Unless they are causing FUD because they themselves want to buy at a discount. Haha.

If the government is concerned that bitcoin is corrupting kids then the value system of the country has lost its social value system and every parent in that part of the world have lost the sole purpose of why they are parent which is to implant in their wards the morality and social system is going to be with them till the rest of their lives even after the time they are old enough to make their own decisions.

If they are now pushing the blame on bitcoin, they had better go back to the drawing because even without bitcoin, they have lost it already.

they one of the contributors so i guess they also wanted to invest in their citizens and maybe the coins was deemed as an alternate goods to teach kids. Because if it were to go in bad hands, bitcoin is really harmful

So now Korea's prime minister trying to spread FUD because Bitcoin is skyrocketing. so tell me which currency is clean? lol. It is true that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are being used by corrupted people (including young ones) in pyramid schemes, drug and crimes but how about fiat currency? it is also commonly used in drug trafficking and other illegal activities, does he not worried about it? or else he's just worried about the Bitcoin's current value and fears that he's too late to start investing in Bitcoin. The problem here is not Bitcoin or any currencies, those who are to blame here are those people who cannot prevent themselves committing crimes.

The reason for this is also partly true because the ambitious young should be ambitious, so when it comes to money, it is much easier to break the bitcoin is to do online through a lot of software or imperative tricks so...

Maybe he does not see the good side if bitcoin rather corrupting kids it teaches them the value and importance of investing. Also it teaches one person to earn money today instead of waiting until you graduate in college and find a work, because money is something not given it is earn. Also if he is worried about bitcoin then proper knowledge and values on how to stop corruption.

There are very few details within the article. Everything is basically in the headline, and by corruption, he means getting involved in pyramid schemes and criminal activity. My question is: why?

Just because Bitcoin can be used for crime doesn't mean holding it will encourage teenagers. They have money which could also be used for crime. I also have no idea where this preconceived notion that Bitcoin is used in scams is coming from. Stay away from (most of) ICOs, be smart when dealing with other people, and not even a teen should have any problems at all. Just like with fiat, it completely depends on the individual in question. Bitcoin doesn't encourage anyone to do anything. It's basically digital cash anyway.

what is the harm in bitcoin?! it is another currency on the internet which is easily traceable since all the transactions are open to public view on the blockchain. saying kids are being corrupted because of bitcoin is an excuse the politicians make to cover up their fuck ups.

What do you expect to someone who doesn't even know what Bitcoin is?. Bitcoin teach children to save and learn how to deal with money, and know how to work hard if want to earn something and learn how to discern things if an article is real or not, Bitcoin also teaches children to deal with emotion when a price dip is happening, Bitcoin is also teaches Children to be a better version of themselves and be competitive enough to stay relevant and survive this world. I don't know what he is saying, he just doesn't like Bitcoin or he isn't that capable enough to understand it.

We could not say that only bitcoin could be held as a reason for the younger generations getting spoiled. There are various evil factors in the society which have to be removed.Even the global currency USD could also be used for such activities. We have already heard such criticisms against bitcoin and now,its the turn of korean president.Just as internet is used for both good and bad, this magnificent technology bitcoin could be either used for progress or for some illegal activities.I think that these leaders just need a reason to ban bitcoin as putin, the russian president earlier termed bitcoin as a pyramid scheme.

What you All guys will say about this?

Obviously, the Prime Minister is only seeing one side of Bitcoin as he probably heard of some criminals utilizing Bitcoin for their illegal acts especially those hackers demanding ransom via Bitcoin. I am sure that the prime Minister did not take the needed time to delve deeper into Bitcoin and he must be surrounded by people of the same caliber.

As a politician himself, he should be worried more on the fact that people are now starting to take things into their hands as they are starting to get empowered and realize that they need less government and more of decentralization. However, a clean government have nothing to worry about just like what Japan has been showing for the rest of the world to see.

No, Bitcoin will never be corrupting anyone...it is the GOVERNMENT itself we should be worrying about as it is and will always be corrupt and the melting pot of so many vested and selfish interests.

He said Bitcoin can lead kids to get involved in pyramid schemes and drug trafficking! Maybe he's very naive to think that. He seems to not understand that even with the 'old good' Won people can get involved in shady activities.

It might be one of three things,

1. Bitcoin's surge in popularity has brought a lot of newbies in the forum.

2. Someone has discovered that selling accounts in the forum is very profitable like selling likes on Facebook.

3. They are Roger Ver's or Jihan Wu's sock puppets preparing to troll the forum and spread their propaganda.
