I think long-term investment can choose eth, short-term investment choice LTC and etc. What do you think?

ethereum is my choice, etc is raising to but still i love eth more. ltc in the other hand have very stable price but slowly growing too so for long investment ltc is great

I chose for a medium-term investment: ETH, AVT, Ripple, OMG, NEO. ETH already closed. The rest in a good profit of 30-60%, I will close later.  I bought for a long-term investment Stratis, Waves, Bitshares, Tierion, Sia, DNT, Tezos. I want to buy extra Ark, Lisk.

There has different types of angle to invest. For long term you may invest in ETH, Waves & BCCS.  For short term you may choose many coins from market.

In my opinion, Ethereum should be one for the long term hodling, LTC is a good option too, but I like Eth more than any. I feel this is going to be the next bitcoin in future for sure

I don't know why there is LTC in your list, and most of the time it has been unsatisfactory. I will choose other potential counterfeit COINS instead of LTC.

Ethereum and Litecoin is good choices, but I don't think Ethereum Classic is. I would rather buy Bitcoin as the third one. I think Litecoin, Ethereum and Bitcoin will gain most value out of this four.

NEM, IOTA, ETC. NEM 70% of my investment for sure. 20% IOTA and then other 10% ETC.

For long term investment Ethereum will be the best especially for 2018.
 
And for short term investment the best for me are waves

If it were me, I would choose to invest in some ETH,NEO, QTUM, all three of which have potential, but LTC I am not particularly optimistic, I even think it is rubbish.

In my opinion, ethereal should be one for hodling in the long run, ltc is the right choice too, but I prefer eth than others. Because I like its features, I feel this will be the next bitcoin in the future and so on.

I prefer invest in coins which will improve main featuers of blockchain. Also, new platforms are good too.

Eth maybe and Litecoin for good quality investments.

There is such thing as comfort of a user. I wouldn't buy coin that has aukward wallet or no wallet at all.

Ethereum will be my first altcoin to choose in the longterm investment because ethereum has great potential I hope ethereum price will make a huge bump in the year 2018.
The next two altcoin will be DASH and monero.

Every coin above has some great thing to release in the not so far future, so all of them may increase in price.

ETH is part of my portfolio since the price of it was BTC0.02. Im not considering LTC and ETC for long term investment eventhough their volume is good.

For short term trades, I usually pick those new coins that some of them turned into shit. Taking advantage of the garbage is kinda effective since then. :)

My choice for best three coins for investment is Ethereum, Dash and Stratis and all these three coins have huge growth potential and will be the main leaders of the altcoins market in 2018 after bitcoin as bitcoin is the king of this crypto market.

Ethereum ( ETH ) by far is the best choice to go with. In terms of thinking a head of time, ethereum is the answer because it can be used for long term investments. And we all know that it has a huge potential to be a better ICO in the upcoming years next to bitcoin, which will still be the best one. As for the other two coins, Stratis and Dash are also good option with potential but its not close to Ethereum

Eth is good move always , eth is the queen of crypto and next btc also.

Ltc also good one month back it was 50 now 70 . Thats the obvious situation. And also try to do ico also

ETH, GLA and XIOS as my third speculative add in hope that it can bounce back over the next few months.  I truly believe in the Gladius (GLA) development team.  They are having a very successful public sale right now and I feel like they offer a service (shared bandwidth to fight DDOS attacks) that makes sense from both a being a service that is needed and the functionality that makes sense.  On the LTC side of the house, it is an amazing coin that has lightning fast and cheap transactions and a team that is pushing the coin forward.

ETH, LTC, DASH/XMR - I think all of them will grow next year. And all of them are undervalued right now, even with last pumps, the price is still so low.

BTW, Ethereum price is dumped now, good point to buy. Take a look on 1D timeframe, you will see everything.

Why do you choose LTC for short time investment? I would choose both coins for long term investment. Ethereum has great potencial because of ICOs, and the only reason it's price is not bigger, is because they don't have a limit supply. I don't think they will ever have it though, because it wouldn't work well for their business model. As for LTC, I think it's undervalued, and it's only problem is that it will always be connected to bitcoin, so if one fails, wo will the other. However, since it's undervalued in my opinion, it has a much larger potencial grow than bitcoin. Also don't forget that new technologies are tested there before they actually go to bitcoin. That happened with segwit, and it will probably happen with the lightening network as well. Charlie Lee has no problems in admitting that LTC sometimes works as a testbet for BTC. For this reason I would choose LTC for long term hold, because BTC should also be a long term investment.

In my early phase of holding coins, aside from BTC and ETH, I consider holding Litecoin too but I dumped them now almost a year ago to focus on some coins that is expected to hype for the next upcoming years. Not saying that Litecoin is not a candidate for that but I tend to focus now on hype coins that is worth to risk to put some money.

Never invested or even consider ETC so that is not on my list.

I have invested some money in Litecoin and Ethereum Classic, but that was after their values dropped by the China ICO ban that influenced the whole crypto-market. I chose that moment because their prices were historically low and I had the feeling that they would quickly recover. But I'm not sure if this is the right moment to get in, prices seem to be very high now. I don't feel comfortable buying when the price is growing but that's personal preference. You got to make your own decision whether it's worth investing now or later.

Thinking about a long-term investment, I will choose NEO as Chinese guys (I understand it) working hard at this project, Litecoin (as it will be among the leaders very soon) and Ethereum, the most reliable crypto for now.

If you want invest in ethereum you can wait to end of year and sell it, but if you want get more profit i propose you wait to end 2018. Probably you will get huge profit them

I holding now only USDT, is the safest coin at this moment. I don't want wake up tomorrow and see -50% on my portfolio...  For little longer shortterm I will choose (in few days) a few most dumped coins.

For me long term investment is ETH. And short - term- REQ, KNC, QSP.

I would choose Ethereum. LTC and ETC are valuables too, but Eth is having a lot more potential to reach the highest levels fatsly, and its price keep going up and expected to become higher in the nearest future. Also Eth is needed for participating and investing in ICO's projects.

Can you explain why would you select these altcoins?

Bitbay is the offers more useful features (that already work and exist not dreams and talk bullshit whitepapers that will never happen) than any project on this entire board for its market cap.

Blocknet is a wild card but if it pulls of what is says (it has already a proven and working atomic trade exchange) then that and bitbay together will provide 2 of the vital missing pieces on the decentralised trustless end to end arena we are trying to create.

byteball - i do not like the distribution but if iota is worth 4 .5 billion (lol) this dag project with a dev that understands dag more than iota devs (who got told by mit that made some terrible errors) is not worth 25 x less.

I recently created a thread that challenged the entire board to find me quality projects that exist outside of the top 10 and nobody could offer anything of quality outside of the top 10 other than the 6 I had listed.

This board is 99% bullshit copy and paste devs or marketeers scamming people into buying their dreams and talk start ups that will fail.

Best choice for me is Ethereum. The value of ethereum has been stabilized unlike the other coins. It may be inferior to bitcoin in terms of price but it has a great potential in the future. Also, it has a good reputation when it comes to investments.

Investing in LTC will be wise, can invest in ethereum too but in long term LTC will provide more profit.

I think this is the best choice for long-term projects.

I personally like ETC right now going into next year because in a few weeks here they are upgrading their monetary policy and that will reduce block rewards by 20%. Also I think the tech and people behind ETC are stand up people which I think it is important to have a solid dev team and foundation. Lastly if they can manage to run ICOs or make tokens on that platform that sky is the limit then.

As for the long-term investment, I would better choose Litecoin and Ethereum. They will go up and this process will not be stopped. Ethereum Classis is good for short-term investment — the fork that will happen soon will let it rise very high. You have a time to deal with it.

Yes Ethereum is a long term investment but I don't think litecoin and ETC are short term investment because the growth of those Cryptos are not daily so I see ETC and litecoin as more of a long term rather than short term investment.

same with me for long term investment, I choose ethereum (ETH). but for short term I prefer choose decent (DCT) and Minexcoin (MNX), both of altcoins have fast movement price from low to high price or from high to low price, so we can get profit quite fast.

I will not invest in both ethereum and litecoin now for both long-term and short term purpose as there are many other coins that are doing far better than both of them. If I have the fund and must invest in altcoins, the coins I will invest on are lisk,  Dash and wave. This three coins are going to be doing well in years to come and some of them are going to be leading coins in there own ways.

I can live while depending on ethereum, it can be the next bitcoin or rather can be close to becoming like bitcoin. You can believe in ethereum to last longer and it will. So I will invest on ethereum.

Go with Dash, Litecoin and Monero for a long term and a short term investment. These three altcoins growth has been high in last two weeks. They are cheap enough to buy in vlaues now. Their growth confirms how hard their team is working behind.

I'm looking forward to invest long term in Ethereum. I know that Bitcoin has surpassed $11,000 now, but the risks are high now even if it predicts to hit $100,000 in 2 years time.

Altcoins are our everything, we invest in everything that moves, even in small steps. A very dynamic market is now due to the growth of bitcoin. So the more coins have the better.

Yes, I have the same opinion as you. Actually I prefer to invest into Bitcoin only and do not like to invest into Altcoin or other cryptocurrency. That's because Bitcoin already have certainty and will absolutely give us a lot of profit. On the other hand, Altcoin appears after Bitcoin and tends to emulate Bitcoin. But after thinking about it, Altcoin could be the second solution and a backup plan for Bitcoin. So later if we have a problem with Bitcoin, we still have Altcoin. We must have more than one source of income.

For me, the size of the market is very important.
What is the volume of the transactions in that market ? Because the altcoin will be used in those transactions.

I consider to invest in INS Ico. This one has a great team and project. Also, they are good at marketing so they create an excellent hype. It could be easy to reach their hard cap in  several days.

Waves for second. If they built a convinient Dex they will fill a huge hole in the market. It has that potential.

I'd prefer litecoin or dogecoin to invest in, they worked the best for me, not that i've already invested in it but it's just according to my own preferences. ETH is somewhat good i think, many people prefer to use ETH, maybe they see it as a 2nd placed to bitcoin.

If I were to choose three coins to invest, I will not choose LTC or etc, I like to invest bitcoin, then bitcoin cash, or ethereum.
Bitcoin because bitcoin price now is high and it has a big potential to rise more in the long run. Like example before the end of this year bitcoin has a possibility to exceed in 11,000 US Dollar.       If I was to ask for I will choose ethereum. Why? Because it is the most used cryptocurrency when it comes to erc20 tokens. Most of ICO's is using ethereum blockchain for their tokens and based on my observation ethereum is connected to bitcoin demands. I therefore conclude that: when bitcoin pump high ethereum also pump. As you can seen in the statistics of the two so investing in ethereum in such a good one for long term investment like bitcoin.

If u can see the market stats of ETHEREUM then you will understand that why it is been accepted by many investors. It is having a good market potential and i personally believe that it is the currency of trust. You can invest and earn good profit out of ETHEREUM.

i will choose eth for the shoret and long term, as eth is one of the strongest alts..
ripple ltc is for the long term goal and should be set always the price to sell because we dont know when this will pump in the market..

My top three coins to invest are waves, stratis and deeponion. Deeponion is a new coin but showing strength and slowly going up and its developer team is very active doing many things to establish their coin, it can go to moon and can give you decent earnings in long term.

For long-term investment choose Ethereum because it's already price increasing proven.

Since many coins are available to buy and make better trade to make better profit but here in my opinion the best coins to invest for the long terms investment is bitcoin cash , bitcoin gold , bitcoin diamond Because these are those coins which arise from the network of the bitcoin blockchain , so here we can expect that how much we can make in the future , if we can invest today .
For the short term hold for trading is better to buy Digibyte coin @80-100 Satoshi and then sell at @150 Satoshi in month , second coin is posw coin which can buy @1100 Satoshi and will rise easily to 1300-1400 Satoshi in the month , third coin that I think is better for the investment is xmr , Because it is going to up speedily ( listen from experience trader friend ) .

I like your choice of Waves and Stratis.  However, deeponion does not deserve to be on that list.  It will tank hard when the airdrop is over.

Ethereum yes! Ripple, no way!! Stellar, it has been having some pretty run lately and the project sounds more like it one that would do well. The reason I am always going to be against XRP is because it is a coin that it is a bankers coins, and if you know what that means with respect to the decentralization we all want, then I would not advise a long-term hold for this coin. Not trying to player-hate, but just stating my own opinion.

I will choose Ethereum since I think it is the best altcoin ever created. Though it is for long term investment, it is more profitable at the end. And for me, ethereum has the higher chance to become more valuable than litecoin in the future.

I would choose Ethereum out of the 3, because it's less volatile than the others. It's more profitable and more stable than the rest.

Waves may be the closest altcoin to buy.
The reason is simple, because the group of cute electronic cats on ETH completely clogged the ETH blockchain, so there's no way you can use ETH and ERC20 token transfers.

Once developers are active on a coin, it would definitely go up.
Deeponion sounds a reasonable one, but that would be some long term as there are so many coins to really beat to it right now.However, WAVES is one coin I am really looking forward to. It has not really had much huge stuff for it lately but the devs are working hard and I am sure when this project really gives the boom, then we should be ready for a bull run in the future.

ethereum is my choice of investment too and for short-term investment, I think I only do trading. I think I am trading cheap coins which have a fast moving in the exchanges. by the way, bitcoin cash is good to trade daily because the volume is good and the coin now is at top ten coinmarketcap so if I take a look in the market, it will be good if we can take profit from this coin.

We have the same coin top choose both short term and long term.
Ethereum will rise and pump hard in the best future so while it is still cheaper, we should buy more coins than invest in other Altcoins that prices are remaining low in a long time.

I agree in ETH for long term its good to invest on ETH and there some many coin good to invest for long term. and i think once many people invest in ETH maybe he could be an equal in bitcoin.

For long term investment i think bitcoin and Ethereum are great choice, it's safer for your investing. The remaining coin i will choose NEO which also good coin and ability will increase to $100 in 2018
If you no have much money you should invest in Altcoins as: Waves, Stratis and Stellar Lumen that can bring much profit in 2018.

For me i rather to choose on LTC, ETH and BTC. As of now we can see how the value was getting to arise everyday. So if we invest of it, we will also be profitable for every increase in its values.

I prefer to invest on eth becuse of the demand and for the price even if it is not stable but there many times that the price are higher than those dumping days.

Litecoin is still a good choice as well. It has been consistently rising and even in this year, it has done well to a certain extent. The thing is that Ethereum really had a huge pump and that was what really got it to this stage and it has been fighting real hard to rise ever since. Wave on the other hand, is one project I cannot just wait.

Loading a lot of it and then looking forward to some great moments in the future. Still very much undervalued as far as I am concerned.

My choice is ETH, I think it is very suitable for long term investment. With its potential for growth, ETH is just behind Bitcoin, and it is increasingly rising and becoming a formidable competitor to Bitcoin.
