Post by: TryNinja on November 29, 2017, 12:21:38 AM It's safe if you use a strong password and the optional salt. It's basically a better version of the traditional brain wallet.
They even created some public challenges to test the safety of their warp wallet, which includes a reward of 20BTC and remain unsolved. Quote Just pick a really good password - many random words, for example - and never use it for anything else. Title: Re: Is warp wallet secure?? Post by: box0211 on April 17, 2018, 04:23:57 AM I forked and improved the warp wallet implementation with it generating additional coins. You can try it here:
https://xcubicle.github.io/memorypaperwallet/ It generates Bitcoin segwit, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero, and Ardor. Obviously don't ever put your life savings on these as they are meant for small amounts. Get a hardware wallet for larger amounts. |
