Any details you can share about the team involved? There are a few other transportation or taxi type ico's and coins out there. Stating the obvious here but this type of information will give people confidence to invest or be involved in some other way (like through a bounty campaign).

Team is of 4 people experienced in p2p, iot and blockchain development. We are based in Pune-India and Singapore.
As of now, we are planning ICO & bounty. But yes, PR will help the network launch in 2018.
Difference from other apps:
Major T.IM has it's own protocol and 100-thousand geo-mining participants. Thus it is fast, more secure and eco-friendly. The network will become ready to host millions of hyperlocal dapps. Taxi is only for swarm protection. It means that Taxi service is not main purpose of blockchain, rather taxi apps act as node validations for PoB.

Other differences T.IM is a real world practically scalable decentralized network. Compared with others, it is not for frivolous acts or  "Me-Too". Other taxi services are for towing etc, but not for real Uber like experience. T.IM is for user experience and cutting the middleman to bring efficiency.

We are also planning to propose the improvements in EIP in few days, so that we can combine resources.

There are other plans of bounty tokens, like some games and faucet offerings.
Our Taxi app will be a business, so unclaimed tokens will be allocated for taxi-ride promotions in first 100 launch locations.

TIM has deployed 36 test nodes on Amazon webservice (cloud) across the world. These test nodes generates transactions. Here, the Nodes are divided among five triangles / graph. These transactions are mined by the same nodes in respective triangles. Once the consensus is arrived then the winner node in blue announces the claim and this is pushed to blockchain miner in upper layer. Ultimately the Merkle root of block is added to a new block created on root blockchain. Alpha preview also displays what is current network state, how many partitions are created. Right now, 5 partition / triangle / graph is shown.

Please follow the TIM Blockchain project for the upcoming information. TIM is an infrastructure project. And as such there can not be an inherent increase of token value by a common enterprise. The only way of increase in TIM's value by adoption by various other types of businesses. Businesses can host their services on TIM blockchain. TIM blockchain contains root layer and lower layer called as mutigraph. Below Diagram shows how blocks are mined by lower layer and added to the root layer. Each block is added always at the end of the blockchain.TIM graph miner (a node in the graph is also a miner) mines micro blocks in each graph and this is verified by upper layer blockchain miner. Hash of the block mined by given graph is stored in the new block created by block miner in root layer. The block of graph is stored in the nodes of that particular graph only. So, the root layer is very light weight as it stores only the Merkle root of blocks of lower layer graph.
The blockchain miner broadcast the new mined block to lower layer to be verified by the lower graph. A malicious intent by blockchain miner will be caught by lower layer graph.

In today’s world, most of the blockchain coin prices are driven by scarcity model and hype which is not based on real world use case. None of the blockchain is capable enough to meet the demand of enterprise and governments. They need high transaction rate and security against future thread like quantum attack. Most of the banks are still keeping themselves away from existing blockchains because of high transaction fees, partial decentralism and future quantum attacks.

We believe that A high bandwidth peer to peer money would allow commoditization of various types of societal values to be transacted on a single system increasing the cross industry commerce, security, decentralism as well as reliability. Geolocation based node identity provides part of the solution to create uniform load distribution aided by statistical block storage and quantum proof keys to achieve true decentralization along with performance. The p2p network is two layer combination of multiple graphs in lower layer and a global blockchain which stores a fingerprint representation of the each of the graphs by timestamping the hash. The longest chain proves the validity of transactions and also the proof of participation by majority of graphs to generate maximum consensus (or supersingular isogenic encryption for 400+ graphs). The structure of generated multigraph in the lower layer of graphs of the network has other interesting properties like equivalence to Ramanujan graph(for n ~> 400) which would provide switchover to quantum safe encryption when graph network grows above threshold.

We have been developing the TIM technology from 2016. And our Pre-ICO was aimed to make a seed community to test our marketing and user-experience. Therefore we kept 3 months of gap between pre-ICO and ICO to execute our PR strategy.

The possibility of replacing intermediary based financial or commercial systems is becoming a reality by mass adoption of decentralized ledger technology. There are various types of utilities being tested on DLT based architecture. While the early success has fueled the digitization of various types of commerce, the bandwidth of blockchains have largely limited its applicability. The limited bandwidth is a challenge to onboard various new business models. Also the bandwidth issue has increased the cost of transaction on the popular blockchains. The solution propagated so far have led to centralization of the network or bottlenecks in the ease-of-usage in some two layer approaches; due to wallet warm up or similar restrictions. The current state of blockchains do not allow easy participation in mining also. The cost related to mining fee or capex of becoming a miner inhibits the micropayments, which actually was a cornerstone of peer to peer money.
Other issue in development of healthy blockchain platform is fragmentation of community, which on one hand has led to multiple innovation but has also created loss of developmental focus on a stronger and useful platform in alignment with the father of current generations of blockchains, Satoshi Nakamoto. One probable reason could be the conventional software development approach which starts with small test cases and scales up gradually. But one cannot change the blockchain everyday like small patchwork in any enterprise system. The patchwork and piece meal approach has led to fragmentation. The
support of community and fork proofing the network by means of para-legal barriers as well as technological measures is going to guarantee a stable and sustainable blockchain.
What is needed is a high performance system which is future ready. Everything from the bandwidth up to the cryptographic nature of the blockchain has to be future proof from the current edges of science. This is to also ensure that the irreversibility of transactions, double spending protection, and ensuring that honest nodes make the majority of network strength. These are key considerations while making this blockchain architecture.
For various types of security mechanism in this architecture implementation, loss of stake is one primary way of censuring the offenders. As you are aware, we have extended our ICO. We understand that delay in TGE would have caused some disappointment among our investors. However, based on recent events as mentioned below, we took the decision to delay the ICO by 2–4 weeks, which is in best interest of all. We appreciate your patience at this time and will soon announce new date of TGE.

TIM platform has seen some phenomenal achievements in past few weeks. Apart from that, we also cleared the air over many open-ended questions. And now comes the good part of crowd sale which helps in mega successful token sale. The current market conditions are just not suitable enough to put through crowd sale.

From the past month, we are offering TIM tokens as Reg-S of SEC. As per our lawyers, there are considerable factors that qualify TIM as utility token , it makes absolutely best proposition to offer as REG-S keeping in mind some recent global events. You probably are already aware that only Bitcoin and Ethereum are identified as utility very recently. If those cryptocurrencies were to float now, they probably would have been offered as SEC Section 506 asset for an ICO. TIM is a cryptocurrency and Reg-S makes the offering completely compliant. Registering our company in a safe haven country rather than USA could have avoided us the need to be SEC compliant but it would have made it difficult for us to enter the US market or avoid compliance with SEC in future when asset enters USA. Most financial institutions don’t prefer to do business with a company whose sole purpose of registering in safe haven countries is to avoid regulations . For a global platform like TIM, our reason to operate in jurisdiction of USA is very sound and futuristic which new platforms will be following.

These legal setup parameters are very recent features of TIM ICO and the investor community needs time to assimilate its far-reaching impact for positive and healthy growth of platform. The delay in crowdsale will allow that exchange of information through various discourse to happen. It is therefore very important for crowdsale participants to become aware about the benefits of this step.

Any crowdsale needs good market conditions and confidence of market participants. We recognize the last few weeks have not been such ideal conditions in crypto. While we cannot speculate and time the market, we believe few of the above mentioned initiatives from our side will help us to conduct a successful crowd sale. TIM ICO should happen through an exchange or a third party which is auditable and fool-proof for security. We are in final stages of discussions with various partners in this regard. The selection and setup for one or more such partners will be announced soon.

The market based TIMs would be only supply for taxi services to operate on blockchain. As the TIM foundation would not release TIMs for first three years, ICO buyers stand a great chance to profit from projected demand.

TIM can be used in finance, banking, logistics, ecommerce and other places that could benefit from large amount of very fast and cheap transactions. There is a WIP and alpha preview of the platform even since the early stages of the development which act as an advantage and can encourage potential investors. The team is quite small, however the members have good experience and skill sets.
