Is it a good moment to buy ETH with our BTC?

Do you guys think it will get 500+$ in december?

I think we can see $ 750 at the end of December. Ethereum rises rapidly a few days.
If you sell bitcoin you may also regret too :)

I guess there should be bounce from 500$ down to 400$. May be after that it will climb up to 600+. But of course it is only my opinion ;)

I see a correction coming for ETH, but on a longer run I believe it could reach 750-800 USD.

As per this year there should be a correction , so price probably will go down for a while. But after thus dump it will rise again and become higher than it is now. So, if you are a bit risky, wait for a dump.
As per long term investment - it is a great moment now to invest in ETH. It will show us its potential in a nearest future.

I think it's a great price to buy. I think next year will be very important for all cryptocurrencies. So I think a little purchase.

It is actually up to you. If you want a good profit you should invest now in it. ETH has already proved to us that its a great coin who has a lot of coins that are based on it. In these months i expect that ETH will go over 500 dollars.

It's a good time to buy WTC or STRAT, they have already started rising, but haven't reached their peak. I think it's a guaranteed profit to be honest.
I've been buying WTC since $7, lowest buy was at $4.6, if I had more money, I'd buy more.

I think if you see the ICO boom at the moment and also the token boom, ETH is at the moment a really good choice to buy. We are just in a beginning phase of crypto technology and Ethereum will be a big player here in the future. But we have to see if for example Waves or Neo also want to play in the same league. Because from my opinion these two cryptos also have a really good technology and a good community behind. To come back to your question investing yes or no? Believe in your own analysis and thinking, my opinion is, yes its worthwhile to buy.

Well it is now -0.81% base on coinmarketcap and there are very few altcoins that are now in less percentage. ETH and BTC are good choice of coins, don't think about the price now if you believe that they will increase in the future. Stop thinking if it will be worth it when you buy today, look on the future goals and long term plans on them you've got for them.

Its hard to predict  ethereum but  you can also  miss the opportunity to make profit in bitcoin so i think just better to wait more for ethereum if the price drop this coming december you can buy  ethereum in cheap price and wait for the price increase more this december or end of this year..

Ethereum is stable with dollar, even if it goes a little bit up. But bitcoin rally is not finish yet. If bitcoin hit 16k next year, it'll be a good investment IMO to go eth because BTC will lose value agains dollar and eth will be stable or increase, so either case you have potentially a lot more of Bitcoin, and if eth do the flipenning then bye bye btc ;)

It definitely not the best moment to buy ETH due to its price. It's very close to the all time high (in USD) and it could easily be dumped soon.

Ethereum has very big potential, and I believe that Ethereum in 6 months will reach price of 1500$, also in december Ethereum has some events and release it can affect on price.

Yes it is a good moment to buy Etheeum, especially if you are planning to hold your coins for long time, because the ETH's price is expected to increase highly in the few next months and years. So buying with the actual price will give you the best opportunity to sell high in the near future when the price go up.

No. I am trying to monitor it but it seems like it stopped from pumping for 2 days now.
Just playing around $450 - 480 and I dont think it is a good thing to buy now with just that little of a movement.

I think it's a good time to buy, if you are to use your bitcoins to buy some Eth. I'm saying so considering the fact that the price of BTC is very high right now as compared to the Eth price, therefore, if you will use the high price point of bitcoin right now, you can get lots of Eth to keep for profit later. As they say strike while the iron is hot.

If you have more money you can invest both, but if you not i think ethereum is the best invest for now, actually for short term you can invest in ethereum, we know recently the price of ethereum has gone up..

Despite being in a bull run for the past week or so (kinda stagnated the last couple days but still), i still think Ethereum has much room to grow, even before 2017 ends. Its one of the most undervalued coins out there in my opinion, even relative to Bitcoin (the ratio deserves to be higher the way i see it).

Buy some now and set some buy orders for $460, $450, $440 and catch the dips if they happen (in case BTC corrects too hard, eth will probably take a hit as well).

Many experts are calling that Ethereum will end the year strong (at $500+ at least) and hinting towards $1k+ next year. I'm personally VERY bullish for the next year with the initial release and real use of the dApps, so i'm buying whenever i can.

Bitcoin's price is increasing like anything and it has reached $10k so i don't think so that buying ethereum with bitcoins would a good option.But investing in ethereum can be good as it is showing promising future and might pump next year or now so buying ethereum can be quite profitable.

If you already have btc, it is better if you retain it in btc. Bitcoin is in a roll and there is still no sign of stopping. You will gain more in btc than in eth. When bitcoin shows signs of stopping or correction, then you can take profit and convert some to eth.

It would be a pretty safe time to buy ETH, although you missed the valuations earlier. The reason i would encourage you not to, is if you can't afford time and the ability to hold coins, and the price tanks, then you will lose a lot of money. Your outlook should be for 5-10 years from now, not tomorrow.

The current time is very reasonable for buying ETH, you should consider investing in this currency. I think! ETH will over $500 in last year! And grown up in next year! Because! At the moment, many ICO used token on Etherium platform with smartcontract! So they trading many ETH for it

I think the ETH is more reliable than btc or other altcoins, the price is stable with slow growing speed. What is more important, there are no so many forked coins.

Ethereum will always be a good long-term investment because it has already established itself as the second most popular crypto only after bitcoin, and investors who are now betting heavily on bitcoin will sooner or later look for alternatives to diversify risks in this volatile market, and it is precisely the relative stability of ether's price that makes it a good long-term investment. $450 seems like a good price to buy, and $800 a good target for the end of the year.

Buying ether using bitcoin is bad idea ofcourse you can buy using usd or other fiat currency there is a chance of hitting upto 1000$ once ether crosses 600$ based on my analysis.

It is a good idea since the price is down, and also for some altcoins that are very affected of btc price surge.
But if ever you buy for altcoins, see to it that it have potential and it have a good record in the market for you to gained profit once it will back from being dump.

If you are planning to hold it for a longer period then definitely you can get a decent profit. It might go slightly down in the next two weeks.

There is no good time to buy Ethereum. If you want to wait, you can wait for the next hardfork, but I does not guarantee that hardfork will happen soon. Some people say that fork will usually happen in the middle of the month or the 15th of a month. I do not know if it's true or not, but I guess it's uncertain and not quite right. Do not be afraid to buy Ethereum anytime. The sooner you buy, the better because the price of Ethereum will continue to soar over the streets. It is not impossible that Altcoin will achieve profit multiplying to 300% in 2 or 3 years. Buy it as soon as possible, and wait for several years.

If you are planning to buy ETH, go ahead now, while its price is not quite expensive. Because it is sure to increase further next year.

Ethereum is really a good altcoin which is on its upside. Beyond that bitcoin is attracting everybody because of its price everyday, showing its upward momentum, eth too will show this peak within short term before that it can be the best time to invest in it.

I am a big fan of ETH. I think around the current price is fine maybe you can catch a drop to 440-450 and buy some than. But I feel like ETH just establishes such good floors (see the price stagnation at 300) before breakouts. We are even see that is stagnating a bit but not really dropping at all with these HUGE bitcoin bullrun past 10k+++ which tells me a floor seems to be building.

I think we are just some small news announcement away of seeing a 100+ increase, so long story short, anytime now to invest.

yup Eth will always be safe investment, So keep on hodl tight, i think in Dec Eth will be mooning like before Eth cross 0.14 btc !

Good to buy both Bitcoin and Ethereum as of the moment. We actually don't know until when the surge of Bitcoin and Ethereum will stop. What I know for sure is that this is not yet through since we are still several days to go before 2017 ends. The most probably thing that happens is that Bitcoin will still go higher than $10,000 and Ethereum higher than $500.

not sure about this, but ETH did drop a lot when value against BTC. the price is not moving and there is very little movement. worst of all, it drops when BTC drops, but remain stagnant when BTC rise.

Yes, now eth is in the purchase zone. buying for fiat is a good buy. Bitcoin is now growing, but when there is a correction, a lot of money will flow into eth. Yes, Bitcoin has an amazing growth in 2017. Its price is $480 now, maybe it is so high, but you can buy it for the future

I think Ethereum will pump after reaching 500$

Ethereum will have some awesome updates coming up, there are many new features that will be added and that of course will help the price out a lot. To start with we have the Zsnarks protocol being integrated, this will come directly from Zcash who has developed it, what it will do basically is it will allow transactions to be completely private. That will make the network very attractive for big businesses because it's really important for them to hide customer data and protect their identity, something which currently is not possible. Another cool thing is scalability, you'll be seeing shards being implemented slowly which is something that will make the network much more faster by having side-chains in order to process more transactions. These are just two examples of why the price will skyrocket.

              I think it is. Both of these cryptocurrencies are rising so there is no problem with the price since it comes proportional so you can still get a decent amount of eth on certain amount of btc you want to spend. Ut will grow for the following years to come and from there you can prove that today is the right moment to buy or get some.
               For me yes, it is so close to $500 right so few good days will definitely take it to a $500 mark.

$500 should come before 2018 summer I think. Even monero made $200, ethereum is much better than monero and others. It should be at least $1000 now but it couldn't manage to do this. Next year will be good for monero.

Haven't you watched the market? it seems ethereum in the dump session which mean the price alreayd back again to the lower price. The price gets plunged almost 15% just in some hours. I just wake up this morning and i was seeing the dump in the crypto market. That means about another will try to jump back later.

Ether was $500 for for like 3 hours or so. The next big price increase is going to be happening in ether. So if you got ether, hold on to your ether because we haven't seen full potential of it's price yet!

I think right now in particular is a great time to purchase some ethereum. We have watched it rise over $500 this past week, and have seen it dramatically dip to close to $400 over the last couple of days. I think getting in at that type of price will leave you with lots of room for profits over the long run. Today price of the ethereum is already 400 dollars plus and I think it will increase more and for sure the price of 500 dollars is possible to see . For your information ethereum went above  $500 yesterday the 29_11_2017 and at the same time bitcoin was above  $11,000. I don't think it is wise for you to flap your bitcoin for ethereum now as both are doing well. I have to think about your ideas but I find out that the best coins to hold now still remains bitcoin and flap bitcoin for any other coins will make you to lose.

I really think right now is NOT the time to buy ETH. I think price can fall 10-20% more but not more than that. ETH is really just a utility token.
