Title: How to install second radeon graphics card on Ubuntu 16.04? Post by: SYMbtc on November 28, 2017, 08:02:23 PM I am pretty new to Linux and I have installed the first PowerColor Red Devil Radeon RX 580 w/ the AMD drivers, that is running fine. Today my 2nd Red Devil Radeon RX 580 came in. What is the easiest way to install the drivers for it? Thanks.

Post by: wacko on November 30, 2017, 02:43:36 AM I installed the drivers with the help of AMD's page http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMDGPU-PRO-Install.aspx It's been a while since the last time I mined with Ubuntu, but I'm pretty sure that by default drivers are installed for all compatible hardware. So if there's 2 cards in your system then it'll install the drivers for both of them. Just try it, what do you have to lose anyway?So If I uninstall it, and install it again how will Ubuntu know the drivers are for both cards?
