Title: How could Bitcoin be used as currency among inmates?
Post by: Phinnaeus Gage on July 02, 2013, 12:39:39 AM
I just thought of this question after I posted my last post.

One thought that came to mind is that the inmates could have an outsider take care of the transactions for them.

The current exchange rate is 3 packs of smokes, a bag of toilet wine, and a toothbrush shiv per BTC.

Sure miss the days when you could mine them just using your hands.

Someone should manufacture packs of cigarettes or bars of soap...
With a hologram and Bitcoin "private key".
