Ethereum for me will be the most stable coin in 2018 because of its continouos progress in the industry right now and it will mark the greatest or not one of the greatest alt coin in the industry right in soon time. And i have no doubt with that, it will be possible i am seeing its way to the top

Litecoin's price stability makes me wiggle,this coin will be the safe haven of the volatile market.

I think it should be ETH, it's still in the long way of development. I ever attended vitalik buterin's invited talk in a local conference, and as I see his vision is so great.

Yes eth has its potential they are the inventors of smart contracts. Mr vitalick is the master mind.

Most stable to me is Litecoin and Monero but even than crypto is very unstable.

Yeah. Litecoin is probably is the most stable coin that I have seen, and also it's the 2nd crypto after BTC its a good coin. After Litecoin I think ETH is maintaining its stability, if we don't count its recent price surge.

Litecoin and Ethereum for me. They have been existing for years already and their price and have been increasing since. I think if you miss the bitcoin train then you still a chance to gain from this two because this two altcoins have real usage and their founders are known and very active. Litecoin is one of the forks of bitcoin with more supply and faster transaction but it is not that famous compared to bitcoin. It has been increasing steadily and with the rise of bitcoin to $10,000, it rise as well to $100 which is an all-time high for it as well. Ethereum undeniably has a good future knowing that it is the platform mostly use by ICOs and has partnerships to corporations as well such as Microsoft.

Your first two picks are indeed well-established altcoins that will probably stay stable next year. Both of them have the technology that will make them an important alt for the coming year. I would like to add that I'm also seeing Waves to be one of the stable alts along with LTC and ETH. Yes, right now, Waves is much cheaper that those two but their devs are cooking incredible things according to their roadmap and most of their projects will be released next year. People are saying that they might become the next ETH so there's a high chance that they will play important part of next year's cryptosphere.

very difficult to predict it, because the price for altcoin is very difficult to stabilize. even when stable, the price will be stable at dollar price, not on the bitcoin price. so it's still very difficult for that. if you want something definite, try to invest on eth.

Dash is pumped already, have centralized structure and errors in source code. From your list of 3, DASH is more insecure in my opinion.

Me personally I'm most excited about Ethereum in the possibilities it will bring in 2018. While I have been associated with bit coin and litecoin for a few years now, I am still learning the ins and outs of what ethereum has to offer. From some of the research me And a few  crypto related friends have done, I'm excited to see the possibilities of opening up in crypto related projects.

Litecoin quite interesting coin because it has its own stability. it was two months ago 50$ and now 70$. thats a good sign. i also love this coin.

Most stable to me are Monero and Neo.

I will suggest you read more on waves, there will be a very high surge in price of the most undervalued coin of 2017 ( i mean waves), if we recall , ETH was like this undervalued late last year , it was still less than $10 as at january 2017 .

There are a lot of new implementations on waves of recent , ranging from security,anonymity , a new design and more friendly waves dex with new trading pairs etc

I think in 2018 I have another prediction. but I agree with you about eth, I always follow the development of eth. I think eth 2018 will experience a slight increase. just my prediction

I think ethereum and litecoin, but it may change. Though they are being being quite stable I think there are some possibilities that it may change at year 2018. And I'm not so much familiar on Dash stability, but some of my friends say it's also good. But let's just wait and see, our prediction cannot be counted as valid.

I'm not interested in ltc and dash coins. but if for eth I have invested it in considerable amounts. I think that eth next year will remain stable, or maybe its value will be pumped up. and I think the beginning of the year is the time for increased altcoin.

I think most stable will be an NEN and ETH. This coins has a huge market cap and have less volatility.

Stability and cryptomarket are the words-antonyms. However, as I see it, Ethereum will be in power in 2018. NEO platform makes some sufficient changes (they say about it) and can also be very strong. Ripple and Litecoin will be not falling.

Litecoins is the most stable coins I have ever come across. When I was developing arbitrage strategy across exchanges. It was litecoins I presume to be a fiat currency I locked my profit in after arbing. And the price was stable that I made small gains.

I think the most stable altcoin in 2018 is GVT, even according to my prediction in 2018 GVT coin prices will increase from the current price, as the price is now higher 600% even more than the price of ICO coin itself, so in my opinion coin that will be stable even profitable in the year 2018 is GVT  ;D.

I'm not trying to threadjack, I am looking for "next" altcoin to add to my newbie portfolio. Target is to hodl for the near and midterm future, so stable and promising established coin(s) only.

KMD 15%
Waves 12%
OMG 13%

Of course one would need to be fortune teller to give firm advice, I'm merely looking for contenders that I will start to research next.

Still it will be ETH because it is the most commonly used platform by all ICO to support their tokens of their projects in which ETH is stable as the 2nd to BTC for almost 3 years and still stable after some pump and dump attempt to some coins. ETH will be the first alternative choice to shift investment if bitcoin will continue to become more expensive to purchase in which ETH is cheaper than bitcoin.

I love all altcoin, but i have only three altcoin that i'm sure gives me a stable income. Not only on 2018 also in the following years to come.

I agree in ethereum and litecoin there are some of my favorites alts that has a good future but the rest are quite unstable and I'm not sure they can remain having a good value in the future. Bitcoin is still on the top and the rest might be an option investors would like to take just in case they want to divert their investment and maximize their earnings. We'll see if there's other alts that will become stable in the coming years.

I think Ethereum is a rollercoaster at the moment, just look at the swings it has been taking lately. 50% over some weeks. There is a lot of hype over ETH and i am not really sure it is called for.

I believe all of them will be volatile as effect of bitcoin is too great on all of them. Just name me one which not affected by bitcoin price? Especially when whales decide to pump and dump.

Well in theory tether should be the most stable of the coins, of course I think really when people are looking for stable coins they are more looking for stable growth. For that I would say that XRP, ETH, LTC are all good choices.

I see Dash in your list, and although I agree with it, I wouldn't say that that dash always keeps it's position, since it's something that just showed up. I think it will hold as a top alt in 2018, but it doesn't have the "history" of LTC and Ethererum. I would add ripple to the list, since it's quite stable as well, for a very long time, and let's not forget IOTA, that is now having support from Microsoft, that has been interested in the micro-payments for a long time, and might use IOTA to finally achieve that.

The most stable coin is an UNDERVALUED COIN with a LOW MARKETCAP ! This will not go down for sure , and the only way is UP , so you can earn some nice gains too. This is my strategy , when you want to stay "less volatile" , stay in "GEMS" , but with not risky team ,project , etc. DYOR . I like MOD NEBL PTOY etc

Litecoin a volatile coin, if you take a stable choose for example ETH or Neo, if you want a profit with high risks invest from 50-100 top coins, if you want super high risks you can start investing in ICO

Ethereum easily going to be the most stable coin for 2018. It will have a great future to come with Vitalik's vision on ethereum.Monero also will be a good stable coin.

My suggestion for most stable alt coins in 2018 are:-

1-BitShares (BTS)

2-StreamrDATAcoin (DATA)

3-Siacoin (SC)

4- Tether (USDT)

Deep Onion just because of its tech and community. Also, it has a low circulatin supply and low market cap so nowhere to go but up. Second, I would say NEO. They are up and coming and will surpass Ethereum at some point in the next couple years.

For me, the most stable coin in 2018 are Etherium. Bitcoin price are struggling  in the market deu to the other cryptocurrency. They many data now shows that etherium is establish itself as the primary cryptocurrency asset. The number of tokens and amount of value now ulitizing in the market. IOTA that does not use the Blockchain system, but an innovative technology created by them and recognized by means of press called tangle, aims to have a more secure and decentralized financial ecosystem.
MONERO Its main objective is to be an untraceable monetary system. To get an idea, Monero has its privacy greater than that of the already known Bitcoin, and in this way we know that privacy is of the utmost importance.

I agree with you because those three are part of the portfolio I hold, but to be more specific since you are asking for the most stable, then I would say that Ethereum would be my pick. It's one of the most stable coins and reliable as well in the recent years. There has been so many instances when many market assets are running out of whack, but Ethereum was able to endure and hold its ground despite of what bad stuff happening in the market. That is solidified through the great support it has been receiving from people and the many projects that use its blockchain technology.

Over the course of the bear market, I've managed to sort out some Cryptocurrencies that have retained their value even during the current bad market conditions. My picks are Minexcoin and Genesis vision. They've only experienced little to no volatility since the downtrend started in January. There might be others though.

I think the most stable coin, for now, is ETH and LTC because ETH maintains price stability and thus both coins will have a good future and can keep its balance and this altcoin has real usage.

But now, we know that the market are not doing well, because everytime i look at the coinmarketcap.com this site, you will see the price and the percentage all about the coins are see in this. And when i see about this three it falling down like the bitcoin for now the only stable coins are the not known coins

I agree with all three altcoins. and there is another altcoin that is also quite stable in 2018, namely Neo. Certainly many have heard, because lately this altcoin is busy talking about.

I could not tell what altcoins are most stable in 2018 it is unpredictable in the market price, maybe their ranking in the coin market cap will be stable but the price of altcoins is not stable at all because of the supply and demand.

Ethereum prices are highly tested and able to compete with altcoin. believing Ethereum coin as a place to invest is very good, I am sure with investment in Ethereum and well managed will benefit.

Ethereum does look like the most stable altcoin if we are looking at it that way. It has the best potential out of all of the coins and there is more that can be done with the ether project than any other altcoin. Although the ones that you have mentioned have showed great potential too so they are contenders for the spot also.

The only crypto currency that demonstrates volatility is Bitcoin Cash. She now shows the best dynamics from the top 20.

Yes,those three have the most stable among the other cryptocurrencies.  Those three a good coins to store in our portfolio. Additionaly, Litecoin price is not just have a stable price it also has a highest maket cap.

If you want an stable digital currency go with usd or usdt. The price will remained at 1 usd even if the market is down. But, with the eth and btc considered not a security then you invest in these two. Because they are already the most stable cryto currency.
