You could look for bitcoin exchanges specific to your country/region, try to find bitcoin ATMs with coinradar, or look on localbitcoins for people selling near you.

It would be nice if you gave us some more information about where you live. There are many exchanges that work in the US as well as other countries. If Coinbase supports your country I would give that a try.

Ha, I have a feeling, that in Crypto world its a bless, if you are NOT US citizen . Just google "buy bitcoin" + your country. And you will see list of options. Make sure to check what % premium do you pay, it took me few hours first time to understand, where to buy with less than 5% premium

Either try localbitcoins.com or use a reputable exchange like coinbase or kraken. You can use payment methods like credit card or bank transfer. credit cards are faster but you will get charged higher fees. Bank transfer may take 4-5 days but the fees are minimal!

Coinbase can take weeks to get your account verified. But Kraken does not allow you to buy coins via credit card (as Ciinbase does).

So there are pros and cons to both options...AND these aren't your only options. Bitcoin is a global currency, but start your search based on the country you live in or fiat you'll be using to buy it.

i think best way to buy looking for local exchange sites. buy from there then send it to your specific wallet.

It would help if you told us where you are but anyhow. I live in Europe and have used coinbase to buy bitcoin. Hope that helps.

Im using cex for buying , takes me 1-2 minutes to deposit from my master card and buy bitcoin in less than 20 sec after deposit . But if you new there , you will need to wait 24 hours for withdrawal , because of fraud reasons . Or you can verify yourself and do instant withdraws . Im from Europe
