I think the number of coins from this project is very much even though this project coin could be mine and that makes me wonder asking for coin prices on the market can be expensive with a total of too many coins

 Personally, I find it refreshing. It gets old having to deal with .0000000x of a coin. Considering how many people are in the world and how much currency can be traded, billions isn't crazy. 1 WBTC more than likely will never be 4k or 5k USD, but at least you don't have to always convert to sub-currencies like micro BTZ which IMHO, is annoying.

I reloaded a blockchain (wallet.dat file was saved and then placed back) and again my wallet does not see the sum blockexpolorer shows.
Problem: Wallet shows me the address Wjoje4NYynScFReoLV9BGYpZo9uFKd8QVt for transactions but does not see transactions for this address themselves. I see this for the first time with the wallets.
What is wrong or maybe the bug in a windows wallet code ?

I reloaded blockchain once more. Result is the same - recommended wallet does not see transactions for address it gives, but blockchain explorer does.

I found more precisely where is a root of a problem.
I did a comparison of the blockchain downloaded by the wallet from the node 142.44.242.32 and the blockchain in the BlockExplorer at the same site http://142.44.242.32:3001 and found that they are different from some point. The last common block at both blochains is http://142.44.242.32:3001/block/6adbc6ec481112b6fb4270ad15da99569b045e1f5ed66cbf0de68f91c55e5716 with the timestamp 7th Jul 2018 14:58:07. The next block at the blockchain downloaded by the wallet has a timestamp 19th Jul 2018 (all blocks between 7th and 19th july are missed) and is absent in BlockExplorer's blockchain. So, it is a fake block. After this fake block there are 6 fake blocks more and then this corrupted blockchain ends.

Isn't MyEtherWallet only for Ethereum-based tokens? It seems like World BTC is a Scrypt-based coin, so attempting to send it over to MEW seems quite ridiculous.

You can create the wbtc.conf file and add the IP configs, then move the wbtc.conf file to your wallet folder at %appdata%/Roaming/wbtc.

I dunno, but in v1.1.0.0-g32a928e wallet configuration file's name being hardcoded is not wbtc.conf , but WorldBTC.conf . Maybe I do have not latest version of a wallet ?

BTW this wallet is downloading 215009 blocks and then appears stuck
