Reaching ATH yesterday.. Time to buy and HODL? What do you guys think?
I bought at around 21 bucks and hodl'ing it, i think it'll get to ~50/60 USD end of the year.

They have a hard fork coming, so it is unknown how this will affect the price. Basially, it is upgrades in the system, but still...Will be the leading catalyst for price movements I guess.

That's right, what are the chances of this leveraging the price the sameway BCH did for BTC?

Really not sure about ETC but in most of the mining software you will find the ethereum classic as the one of the coin which can be mined. Still monero is the top of the other coins which is good for mining. Your expectation like etc to reach 50 USD and really not sure about the price bump in this coin. I see that LTC and eth is grow predominently than other top cryptos. However, now the value is around 32 USD if you wait for sometime you will be able to get the more profit with the ETC itself.

In shortly as you said it hard fork is coming so price will be increase with this even. But not long term it will need landing to 2x after can take off and everything is unconfirm we have to wait about cryto economic affect in 2018

It is not easy to answer you if it is exactly the time to buy and hold this crypto. There will be an Ethereum Classic fork very soon, and I think this event will affect much on the price of this altcoin.

For me now is both the time to hold and buy etherium classic. With ethreium going from prof of work to proof of stake and tons of money getting pumped into etherium classic for its marketing, I am super bullish about etherium classic in the long term.

No one can predict what lies ahead but what i cam say is ETC will move far above it's current ATH.

Well, the good times has ended. For that moment the only "green" crypto in top 10 is dashcoin (have no idea why) and ethereum classic have the biggest fall. Already -19% for the last 24h.
Congrats if you grabbed your profit.

OH well.... dwelling on past mistakes is not my thing but.... I wanted to get some ETC when it was 9$ (I think)... probably a month ago...  >:(

I don't think it make sense to buy into ETC because the BTC price is falling the ATH in BTC has not been reached for a long period of time, just thanks to Bitcoin that is rally and driving the fiat price up along

I think $60 is a bit hopeful but I also would like to see a $50 price point that was my earlier year prediction and I am sticking with it. It did correct today quite a bit but the rest of the market is all red too so what'd ya expect right?

This price is quite possible. ETC planned hard fork, this will have a very positive impact on the price of the coin. I'll keep it until December 12th.

The market is kinda fluid now to make a decision. With this current run of BTC and hitting a new ATH, So many alts have been affected.
With time, we get to see some adjustments and control. Therefore the price can most likely go either way, though am looking forward to a positive increase in ETC.

There was a decent rise in ETC price above the $30.00 level against the US Dollar. The price traded as high as $32.05 before starting a downside move. There was a sharp increase in selling pressure and the price moved below the $30.00 and $28.00 support levels. It even traded below the $25.00 support and formed a low near $22.12. It later started an upside correction and moved above the 38.2% Fib retracement level of the last decline from the $32.05 high to $22.12 low.

It is normal for etc to go up considering ETH has gone up as well. I think it might get to 50-60 USD by the end of the year if ETH continuously goes up in price. If it doesn't then it reaching 50-60 USD by new year is just a pipe dream.  ATM it is sitting at 25-30$ price range and I hope it continues to go up more. For that reason, I think it is a good time to buy and hold but I don't think it is the best. Buying in now is a lot riskier than buying in when it was still in a relatively low price but profit can still be gained if one bought now and held for at least a year or so, maybe more.

We really cannot say much about that for now but the selling level is high at the moment. However, looking at the fact that it has been able to attain a new ATH in the previous bullish trend, then now will be a good moment to actually have some of it. Let's see how long the correction is going to keep on before we see the sideways movement.

The hard fork must really have had a huge effect on the value for now but no one can really say. However, the value has dropped a lot now so as other Alts apparently which is expected based on the present correction going on with BTC. I will advise to just buy some little more later on if the value drops lesser than it is right now. Once the huge correction is over, we may end up seeing another pump.

ETC is going up. The price of ETC is moving similar to Ethereum...most people knew that the price increase was due for it.

I also expect good climbs in december. The fork is officially announced around 12th of december. Especially i gues the price will raise just before the fork. Because so many people would like to have some bonus fork coins to sell.

Its the real Ethereum chain so it will do well, even though it don't have the marketing of ETH it still commands a good price.

Some people said ETC will be $50 this year, I didn't find this true at the first sight and then I decided that it's really true. ETC is promising in short term.
