I hold some different cheap coins now in coins markets exchange just worth of 0.02btc in total.
Should i sell it now or just hold since bitcoin now continuously moving up.
Which better I do.

Well i believe that selling altcoin today is just a wasting of profit on the near future because altcoin today is really in a low status and it is in a verry low price  maybe we can sell it in some other time when it is in a high price status.but everything is really depend on how people react in a verry simple situation panic selling is really a big reason for not gaining on cryptofeild that is why we need to think wisely.

depends on which altcoins you are holding.If your altcoins devs are good and their roadmap is good then you can hold it for long term.before selling or buying make a research and do what do you want.

Holding or selling your coin depending on how much you bought it.
If now its already profit then selling now will be suggested.
If the price of your coin lower than the price when you bought then better just hold it till you get some profit with the coin.

Thanks for enlighten my mind, or should I buy some cheap altcoin for waiting a right time to sell. I do searched and gathered some information about knowing trading section and to become a good trader.

Just wait and be patients in trading strategies or else you will loss you fund in trading, don't panic and sell all your coins because now selling altcoins is useless. Just wait for a moment when bitcoin is down a little or when another fork comes. I know its hard to pick up potential coin in altcoin there are too many emerging altcoin now from cheap coins to shitcoins how sad.

If you're holding Ethereum, Litecoin or other reasonable+ coins, just hold.
If you're holding bad coins, like Bitconnect, you should sell them IMMEDIATELY! If you hold awful coins, you're gonna a lot'a money.

Holding may bring a lot of profit after a period of time but it all depends on what actually you want. If you have gain much as compared to what you invested, then you can sell your altcoins now to settle some of your problem if there is any. But if you don't have any money related problem, I will advice to hold for a period o time to enable more profits.

altcoins are not all the same so it is impossible for us to tell you whether to sell them or not. one may be good investment which is rising and the other may be a terrible one which is dropping.
you should always analyse them individually. although in general whenever bitcoin is rising the altcoins are not considered that good a investment and it is best to go back to bitcoin instead then come back to alts after the bitcoin price was stabilized.

You can convert all of them to BTC and then rise with Bitcoin till it dips  and sell off and wait for a predetermined price level to re enter and move up again. Make good use of this chance.

Currently Altcoin price trend is increasing, but some time ago according to my analysis Bitcoin price had increased and impacted Altcoin price decreased. Thanks for that wonderful idea bro, I'm holding cheap coins and I don't want to hold it for a long run what I mean is to trade for short term only. My thought is if bitcoin going high price then it possible altcoin lower price that's why I'm still holding now for this scenario.

I would recommend if you check the market cap of the coins that you're holding and if you see it then decide if you're gonna sell or hold we can't say which way your gonna profit or loss it's up to your decision and playing your cards right, and it is really a waste if you just sell them without getting any profit it's not that expensive so why wait a little more and watch the market carefuly for a much bigger profit.

What altcoins are you holding? It is really expected that Bitcoin will continue to dominate this whole month of December or who knows including January since forks are becoming bottomless. But if you are holding coins that have up coming big news then maybe it is worth the hold.

Its depend on what kind of coin you are holding. If the coin you hold is high in price and you think that you will earn well to sell it.
If your coin value is lower then it's better to hold it, because your investment can not be recovered.

Hold if its good coin, well I guess its a good coin of course so better to Hold it because cryptocurrency will continue to pump higher in the coming years, don't just settle for good. Keep on investing instead, increase your holdings so big money will come in the future.

you can hold for a longer time because it is not altcoin time to selling and if you sell right now, your profit is not too big. you need to wait until the altcoin price is moving up so your profit can be bigger than now. you will need to be patient because bitcoin price wants to make correction price and I think the time for altcoin price to rise will come soon.

You're right dude that's what i'm doing now instead of spending or selling my coins i do keep on it hoping that time comes i have a huge profit on it. I'm holding now for those top 5 known altcoins in my wallet and thank's for those advises here in forum.
I monitored my altcoins so far it is good in the market and have a green flag, i planned to keep it for a year maybe.

Well, to be honest, I don't think holding those Altcoins will give you some earnings for next few months.It all depends on the what coins you are holding are they worth holding or not, only their valuation and demand in the market will tell us. It is better you sell at the current market price and then invest those BTC into some demanding coins like Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, Neocoin etc and then hold till you get your expected returns.

depends on your necessary and your profitable. if you satisfy with that earning, so go ahead. you didnt mention what altcoin that you hold. i think some of altcoins need to be held are ETH, LTC, WAVES, XRP. if your altcoins are not one of them, better to sell them before the price going down.

I think if you sell it now you will lose because the bitcoin price continues to rise so it affects the value of other altcoin, you can sell it at a later time when the price goes up.

Yes i hold some high valued coins and altcoins now but some cheap coins and those ERC2O coins are i going to sell at this time because bitcoin now dump a little. But ehen it comes bitcoin i don't spend it much better to hold that high potential coins than to hold altcoins or cheap coins.

If I personally see a situation like this bitcoin crawl up,
I will still hold the coin.
If later bitcoin back down somewhat rapidly,
I will sell it for profit later after bitcoin back crawling up dude.

If the altcoin you're holding has a future i.e the project is good and not some airdropped or cloned coin, then it will be worth the hodl. IMO once the bitcoin bull run has ended, money will flow in alts. So if you have the funds, intead of selling, try to accumulate as much as you can.

Its better to study carefully your altcoins before taking your decision. Some altcoins have good potential and their prices are predicted to rise in short or long term, so it is better to hold them. While other ones aren't so stables so selling them is the best choice.

It totally depends upon the current market situation as of the coins you have are in good condition and the prices are high and you have gained enough profits then you should sell them right now but in other case that is with most of the altcoins now and its not in their favour which is less prices and less demand then you shoul hodl and wait for the right to come when the price start boosting up.So analyze your situation or you can exchange it for btc which is much beneficial on comparison.

the way i think about it is to try and calculate or guess more like what will give you the best return if thats what you want.
for example is holding your alt coins going to generate more of a profit that the potential rise in value of bitcoin next year?

although the current position of the coin is difficult to guess but you should be able to calculate whether the coin has a good future or not. because the coin becomes the benchmark of your investment success

It's difficult to give a precise answer without knowing exactly what coins you hold, for an overall basket of alts I would say hold them as the outlook is good, of course if you have bad alts then you should sell them. The logic of bitcoin value going up is a bad one however, you may as well hold bitcoin in that case, you should want alts if their value in btc increases over time.

Yes. No one can really tell the future of an altcoin right now as a lot of them are dead already. Still, what you said is simply right. The best is to be sure that what one is holding is a coin that would really make some great bounce in the future and that is where the OP would really want to keep his investments right now. ETH was $8 at the beginning of this year, imagine holding some of it. That is where the OP should start from.

If you know the Altcoin you are holding is not a coin you can really trust, then you can sell. However, some of the altcoins are going to have some pretty good bounce later on, so I will advise you to hold any coin you are sure have some prospects rather than being too fast to sell them. It depends on you, almost all the altcoins are being very pumped right now, Verge was one of the most undervalued altcoins from the market and it suddenly made more than x12 in just three days.
The same applies to dogecoin.. it was less than $0.001 and now it is upto $0.006, i would hold if i was on your shoes.

If you are closely watching altcoin markets, its very evident that every coin in the top 10 is being pumped one after another. It clearly shows that altcoins are purely all pump-and-dump system. It's real funny to see them being pump and if you are into the market for long time, you should have made lots of profits already. They are not really good for long term investment. If I were the OP, I should have sell my altcoins at top price and wait for few days to re-invest it to the next altcoin that will be pump. I already profited from 2 such pump already to be honest. But when I see that Bitcoin Cash is the next one to be pump, I decided not to join and ride the waves. I don't like that people behind it plus I'm ok with the profits that I already made from Ethereum and Litecoin. I'm still wating though for one coin that is not yet pump. Common sense will tell you what coins I'm talking about. So my strategy is just buy them when they are still cheap, hold for several days or weeks and when the coins is pump, I get out, re-invest to another coins which I think will be the next coin that pumpers will choose. what coins are you hodling? If they are top 20 biggest coins in the market, you should hold and wait until they go up in the future. If not, you can sell them now to get profit.

The best thing you can do is toss your altcoins around if you are already in profit and just buy bitcoins whenever it is on a bad shape. That's the most efficient thing you can do to profit even little by little. You might not get rich quickly by that but still, any profit is a profit no matter how small it is. Depend on the fundamental of the altcoin, if you now have some altcoin that has good in fundamental like POWR, DASH, LTC, ETH you can hold it, but if you have just pump dump coin for the better sell it because the price of BTC strong bullish and that coin hard to going up.

I would sell now, based from what I am seeing. I am currently holding on DOGE and made a good profit from it when it pumped, but when bitcoins get traction again, likely all alts will die again and bitcoins come back up as the only thing people want. Right now a lot of alts took advantage of the correction of bitcoins, but now bitcoins has already corrected and it is cheap to buy bitcoins right now. The holiday season caused BTC to go down. Compare the value of altoins you are considering and if their price (BTC price, not $ price) goes down it could mean they are too much depending on the value of BTC and will never take off. If, on the other hand, the value of an altcoin is steady or even going up that means it is not too dependent on BTC and you should put it on your shortlist.

It depends on what altcoins you are holding if it is ethereum or ripple just hold it for a while for a year actually because there are predictions that they will pump a lot more in the next year 2018 and you do no want to miss that. Depending on your current strategy what is your plan to your coins. If you are already in profit then it is better to sell your coins because when bitcoin is making a rapid move, altcoins will make a downward movement. It is better to secure profit and then buy it lower so that when it goes up you will have a bigger profit. Always have a stop loss though so that you still have a risk management.

Sell it then hold bitcoins becausesome altcoins does bit have a future but i am not generalizing it there are successful altcoins that have a future like ethereum litecoins ripple and a lot more but if that altcoins you have are not that successful then it is much better that youbshould just sell that then those bitcoins are the ones that you will hold for a long time because bitcoins is on the top of their league this time even if they are falling today it is just because of the Christmas hype that are coming.

ETN is a good coin which have a great project but i think it is too difficult to ETN is going to increase $1 in January, 2018 but it can quite reach $1 even $5 in the future, you should put goal for holding ETN from 1 - 3 next years, it can give a lot of profit.

Holding alt coins is a good for you because as the world is getting digitalis people are now using more technology and these crypto currencies are the one of the best example of technology. In upcoming years people will only use crypto currencies for day to day expenses. If you hold your alt coins there are very high chances that those coins value may increase.

If you already hit your target profit now, then you can sell your altcoins now to realized your profit but if you are not yet satisfy with the profit you will earn if you sell now then hold it first until it reach your target.

In my opinion, it is not a good choice to go for holding of your altcoins for longer period of time. Altcoins are highly unpredictable coins and their market value can fall down any moment.
