Where do you guys think the Ethereum price (https://coincodex.com/crypto/ethereum/) will go in December? $50 Billion market cap is quite an achievement. Great adoption among crypto community.

end of december , id say 700$

it will climb around 5$ per day, so 650-700$ seems realistic for this year

I think that by the end of december ethereum price would either stay this way for some time or climb up to 700$ maybe even bigger because some people tend to hedge into ETH now because of the rumors about the plan of miners to let BCH usurp btc's throne, also known as operation dragonslayer. For now I think eth would go up every day until the anticipated event happens but probably those who are hedging will come back into bitcoin once the drama is over so better sell your ETH at a good point to get a great re-entry point if you want.

I agree with your opinion. ETH is increasing every day and the ETH market is the destination for new investors. If you invest now, you will probably have a huge profit in the future because ETH is now only $ 500 and will soon reach $ 1000.

Is there not a limit to how much it can increase with difficulty in mining still staying at this currently low level. I mean there must be some relation between the cost of mining it and its price. Otherwise why would people not just mine instead of buying at an exchange?

ETH unit price may be successfully reached before Christmas 1,000 dollars, it is possible, after all, bitcoin has been ten thousand US dollars. The bull market is coming and ready.

I'm happy for the Etherium, it was a significant level. It is impossible to guess how much it will be by the end of the year. I would like to see 620 $. The etherium has many catalysts for growth, strong support from Enterprise Ethereum Alliance

Its great news for ethereum lover(holder).I predict it about 5monts ago that ethereum will hit at $500 before 2018.Finally, it happened  :) :) :) Now let's see how much raise occurs in December.

Total crypto market cap: $350 Billion. This is crazy. When BTC is on a bull run, other alts are usually in a slump, all altcoin, especially major ones like ETH and LTC, in red. Now look at those altcoins, most of them are green and even making new ATH. ETH and LTC are some notable major altcoin who made new all-time high today.

All these madness should stop soon. December should be the correction phase for all the mania that we just been through. People are selling for Christmas and New Year. (I'm usually bullish on Bitcoin, but not now because I already sold earlier today :P)

Maybe eth reach 800 -  900 dollars in December and 1000 dollars in 2018 :o I'm waiting for that ;D

What seems realistic for you is not so realistic for me. When talking Ethereum, we are about the second crypto in the marketcap with a real undervalue besides bitcoin which is making a foolish boost. I thought Ethereum will hit the 1000$ soon (may be before next january) and bitcoin will dump to may be 6000$ to 7000$ so this can be really realistic. We will see.

ETH/BTC price ratio still lower  than 0.05, thus I believe it should head towards 700 USD during DEC, and towards 1k  in 2018 1H!

We should take into consideration the fact, that most of all recent ICO's had a lot of Ethers on their accounts, so their value rising as well. So, I'm excepting a lot of spikes in price for ETH asset based altcoins.

i will agree,because i also thought so, and I was very soon that ethereum will be $500. I am very happy to know that I have been able to holdethereum and hope for its good value.

I think in between 600 and 800 worth, adaptation of the coin to the market is because the great team in behind the project I must say
at first I wouldn't believe it was going to be as successfully as it is.

I'm sure ETH at the end of December will cost 500 usd. And by the end of winter he will reach 1000. Winter will be a lot of projects that will lead ETH to a new level for ordinary people.

These statistics looks so real and achievable to me and also as per speculations it might happen regardless of minor dips and bumps but all we need it a proper conscience and should not be carried away by some sort of rumours which usually arise at the point of time when any crypto currency is at its peak saying that it will crash or collapse

IMO, ethereum is the most successful coin in cryptocoin market. It has a value not only monetary but also functional. Since bitcoin get further away from its own base functions, eth can reach 1000 dollars at the beginning of March.

Probably right, ETH is becoming huge coin in both ways. Everything that is happen this year is good for cryptoworld but seem like only bitcoin and ethereum good best of it.
Its not that big deal that it will be huge success for eth maybe hitting this 1000 is easy for ethereum and maybe will happen sooner then you anticipated.

I don't think it will be that high, unless real announcements with updates to the network are made. Ethereum was a bit under-evaluated, but $500 to $600 seems like a good price for now. Don't forget that Ethereum is basically a platform to invest in blockchain projects with it's own currency. It has no limit cap, so it's value will never be huge. If good ICOs show up, and they are regulated and will probably get money coming in from institutional investors, we might see the price go up a lot, but don't forget that the ICOs will then convert ether into fiat in order to cash out and pay for their projects, so ether price will return to normal values after that. It will get valuable with time, but not as bitcoin will, because they have different goals.

Indeed true that ETH has seen huge adoption throughout 2017. This was mostly because of the ICO boom, at  least thats what I think. I could imagine Ethereum hitting around $600 or even more by the end of december 2017.

hmm, I think the last few days all altcoin prices are falling, one of them is ETH, I always hope in the year 2018 later, eth will skyrocket in the number $ 1,000.

just one years eth increase 500%, this is very profitable. the development of dapps and smartcontract in eth makes prices skyrocket, and Q4 of 2017 many devlopher start paying their dividends.

The value of Etherum is increasingly being confirmed. I think 2018 will be a strong year for the crypto market as well as Etherum. I also hold a lot of Etherum to invest ICO so I'm looking forward to Etherum's price increase more.

why what is the utility? that you all speculate with it?

It seems November, 2017 will be remembered by everybody who deal with crypto. All these forks, Bitcoin jump and now the new record — Ethereum which is half a thousand! Suppose its capitalization will reach 2 billion these days.

We may be seeing $100 Billion market cap of ethereum by the end of this year! Ethereum is so valuable in crypto space and the price is an indication of it's value

Somehow coins are behaving like bad ass because o none of them are really acting the straight way and getting the upward leap followed. They are all following the path of bitcoin which can be clearly seen.


The Ethereum in all is showing mega movement and I think that is not good way to go with it. Either this coin just trying to stay in safer side by having the investment with equal proportion as it had previously. This to keep to keep the Ethereum dominance upto the mark and people don't see it falling below the alt coins which are there in the market.


May be our speculation could be wrong or could be true but what we have to do is just to keep the investment up going on. We know that alts or ether itself is very volatile as well as uncertain market.

I think mid-December Ethereum will tend to be stable. I think for early next year some altcoins will be pumped up. yes I guess my prediction is so.

I don't think will rise more than 500-550 in December. Frankly I think that 500$ was all-time-high that won't be surpassed until May-June of 2018. Can't say why exactly but I guess so.

I agree with you may be at the beginning of this winter there will be a new ico project began popping up, so we have to be ready for her, if the problem of the ETH will be in 500 to 1000 I wear adherents only anyway the best for ETH

If from me it can not predict how this results in December what will achieve by ETH who know more than you can the predictions could not have 600 more to know, so we wait aja how its development

There is nothing wrong with Ethereum price i must say currently, i suppose ETH was experiencing a fairly natural growth as its USD price doesn't fluctuate much against movements, more and more projects worth millions are depending on their network which further stabilize ETH's price, $800-$1000 might be certain more me in few months time as long it's competitors couldn't gain any market share associated with smart contracts, ICO platform etc. its transition to POS, hybird POS is what matters to their investor i suppose.

While there is an EOS project - with ETH there will be unexplained things. It is very difficult to guess what will happen next.

Great, this is already a known thing that ETHEREUM is one of the most known crypto currency and come second after BITCOINS. I think that it will be the nest move ETH had now. It will be remembered by evryone. We have a great trust in ETHEREUM that it will definately gonna give huge profits one day. And this is really a good thing that it had reach $50billion market cap. I think that in coming year it will soon gonna break all records.

I can also see Ethereum hitting a market cap of $50 Billion. This surely would drive price for ETH to new all time highs. Ethereum does deserve it as it is a really good platform that has already a great community and userbase. Hopefully we will see it trading at $500 to $600 in 2018. I would be totally fine with that development.

I dont think ethereum can reach more than 500 this year and more then 700 till the end of next year . ICO is good for ethereum , but it also acts as deterrent for a massive pump/dump

These days it was climbing up and what we see again? Together with almost all altcoins it is rolling down the hill. I am expecting for its stop on the way down. Ethereum should grow and overcome the $500 barrier.

Keep watching the market, ethereum's price will go up further. This is only the start of the major trend of ethereum. It will have some difficulty due to bitcoin's volatile market transactions. This makes pressure on ether. Just wait some time.

Yes, Ethereum has reached over $460 now. there is no doubt that it will hit $500 in 2018. I alway believe in ETH future. It is the basic coin of the crypto world

It's a very good chance that ETH will increase up to $800. I suppose the probability of that event is much higher than the price dropping or sticking at $450.
