Obviously Bitcoin is #1 - But what do you think are the Top 25? It doesn't follow the market cap exactly - does it?

Most of the users only know a few number of Altcoins (more than 10,000) and I think many only know names of your top 30 Altcoins.

BCH & ETH may reduce the number of Altcoins in future (many will invest in BTC or use BCH & ETH as Altcoins ).

Apart from market cap and growth, I wonder what the most interesting or “newsworthy” altcoin of 2017 would be.  Perhaps BCH for its success (the good) and attacks (the bad).  Or perhaps Tezos for the Cluster F it has turned into.

I think since the variable use to classify them is marketcap, this can easily be got from the coinmarketcap.com, what I'm looking for is the top 20 undervalued projects in the space with good market analysis to back it up

The first 25 is constantly in a fluctuation and I have difficulty following. In my opinion, in 2018 many of the first 25 coins will leave the place to another coin.

There are plenty of shady (and even outright scams) in the top 25 cryptocurrencies by market map. We need to eliminate those in order to picture a true top 25. I'm talking about bitconnect, hshare, bitcoin gold (with the malware infested wallet) and the likes.

And outside the top 10, coins have a very similar market cap, and the daily volatility changes the rankings a lot, so maybe thinking about 25 is a bit of a stretch.

There are thousands of these coins, and a very few people know about them. I understand that all believe into Ethereum (Buterin appears on public often and supports this belief into ETH also), DASH is great and NEO will be stronger.
