Title: EasyCrypt: secure your wallet.dat and other sensitive files Post by: bitfreak! on June 30, 2011, 11:44:03 PM EasyCrypt enables easy and efficient encryption of any file. All you encrypted files are stored in a list (aka the vault) where you have the option quickly decrypt any selected file. This application is useful for encrypting your Bitcoin wallet file, but it can encrypt anything.
EasyCrypt will NOT delete the original files from your computer. If you wish to delete the original files it is recommended that you use a good shredding application. Idealy you should also create a backup of the original file and save it to a secure external storage device.

EDIT: On that note, you guys should check out this other app I made, my BTC Currency Calculator (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=24282.0). That is a more serious project I made in Delphi 7.
