Title: Question about buying with Paypal...
Post by: Zoznoz on July 03, 2013, 01:24:29 AM
Hey guys, sorry if this seems like a stupid question but usually I don't have cash in my Paypal account, however can I pay using a credit card that is linked to a Paypal account? That is a personal seller like on here.

The simple answer is no. Paying from a CC linked to Paypal leaves the seller open to a chargeback and also creates an unnecessary fee.

He can still pay the fees.
And you can ALWAYS chargeback with paypal, does not matter if you pay from a CC or your balance.

So, it does not really matter, but you will have some fees (around 3 % if I remember correctly).

PayPal fees are the same regardless of the funding source used by the buyer/sender of the funds.

well you could paypal gift it. as long as the money comes from either a bank account or funds already in paypal there are no fee's. there will be if using a card though
last i remember the fees are 35 cents plus 3.4% of the transaction.
