Title: Does a node need to be connected to the Internet to generate blocks? Post by: bboques on July 01, 2011, 01:10:26 AM It would make common sense that it would, but you never know. Is there a way to download the current list of blocks into a client and have a PU run offline until it figures out a new block then check to see if that block was made by the rest of the world first? Or is this a 'Perma internet connection' skill.?
