Because it was a bubble and it is now going through a correction phase. After a while it will go back up, sell while you're in profit, buy when it is about to rise. Move to alts now - pick a good one!

This just shows how all the crypto currencies are interlink with each other. I bought some yesterday as it peaked but I have a feeling it will recover with a very fast increase in value it was only a matter of time before we saw a correction.

I think it's going to break out again in the second half of December. Bitcoin is sure to stabilize around $12000 around Christmas. Now it's a good time to buy.

no reason to panic . i believe it's duo to so many people hitting their goal and deciding to sell their btc . but those are only small holders so eventually the price will start rising again .

Volatility at its finest! but don't worry its just a correction so its the best time to buy another sets of coins. The value of bitcoin will recover anytime soon so hurry and buy while the price is low. I was only curious when the bitcoin are going down almost all of altcoins are very affected. tsk!

It is simple to down bitcoin price. If the price of bitcoin is so high, then it needs to correct its price. That's why bitcoin price is down now.

This is the correction done worry about it and go for buying bitcoin you can now. In some days you will find the bitcoin price may down to 8.5k as I am watching the price movement more than 2 years. If the value go down more than this don't think your buy will never help you.
Mark my words you will find the bitcoin price again moves to 10k in a week and it will reach the 11k again in the time of Christmas for sure.

I agree completely with this.
Whether or not this specific growth and sudden correction was expected or not, all previous growth and even the drop back down to 9.5k still suggest a nice $12-14k by the end of the year.

Good luck, and stay focused!

Shows how volatile Bitcoin is, because well it's not actually a currency
