Title: Antminer L3+
Post by: AmeRicano on November 30, 2017, 05:56:04 PM
Is it still profitable to buy Antminer L3+?

There are few companies that make it, Bitmain and Ynuhui, the same specs, except, Yunhui is much cheaper. Does anyone have Yunhui?

Does it have to run on 220V or it can run on 120V?

Replies much appreciated.

I've never heard of yunhui, but you will want to post this in the alt coin section. This is just for bitcoin hardware.

The L3+ is manufactured by Bitmain and noone else. No idea where you got that other random name.

What voltage you can run it on depends on the PSU.  Bitmain sells several that can run on 120v as well as 240.  I have APW5 and APW3++ that both run on 120v, just carefully review the product page specs at bitmain when ordering.

Never heard of yunhui, but scams are many in mining.  Be very wary.  As to L3+ profitability, at this specific moment, sure it's profitable.  By the next delivery... Who knows?  Bitmain miners aren't a scam, but risk is still a big part of the equation.

Not safe to buy in other manufacturer and bitmain is the only main where you can buy antminer L3+ and base in what other experience L3+ is profitable from them and mostly the other they are just holding their litecoin and sell it when the price is really high.. and save profit. .
I think if you have 220v antminer and you only have 120v power it can be work.. but if you have 120v miner and plugging it into 220v it can be destroy your miner..
