You guys would probably be better off buying the new blades instead of the USB sticks, wouldn't you? Also, it's not likely that the Block Erupters will every make back their investment in BTC.

that's incredibly bad deal. 25% ownership for managing? Crazy.

I thought someone would ask that question.

98BTC for 2 Blades = 20gh/sec

99BTC USB Block Erupters = 33.3gh/sec

No power expenses? Where are those coming from?

All Power Expenses will be free. They are being paid by my 10% share ownership. (I have solar Power, electricity costs are low for me)

there should be new blades (new design, less power consumption, smaller price) in few days

Lol.

Thank you for raising the value of my ASICMINER shares I guess, but nobody is going to buy any shares because it's a bad investment.

You could probably double your money by buying 100 USB Erupters and hocking them on eBay. That would be a better investment. At this point, wait for the next generation of mining hardware from KnC or AM.

That depends on so many variables. I think you are making to many assumptions.

At current difficulty. 100 BTC invested will get you 24 BTC per month. that's 1/4 of the initial investment back in 1 month. Which isn't bad at all.

I am not going to make any estimate of the increasing difficulty level; since there are so many variables to consider, which is anyone's guess how fast it will rise. But to sit back and say its not worth it, is a gamble in its self of the potential earnings one could loose. How long these ASIC preorder's are going to take has already been shown to take a lot longer than what most people expected.

That's the old pricing (date on that post is May). AM just lowered the price on the USB from 2 BTC to .99 BTC, so they're making an announcement on the blades within the next few days as well. There's no way they would cut the price of the USB by ~50% and leave the blade pricing untouched....

It seems that you need to do some more research before working on this-

Shares Available: 9000/9000 @ 0.01111

Currently The Minimum stock buy Order is 50 Shares.

50 shares minimum @ 0.01111? So the minimum order amount is 0.5555 BTC. With such an investment it's barely a step up to buy your own Block Erupter and get better returns.

The whole business of buying mining hardware supported by issuing shares makes sense when it involves hardware that isn't very accessible to the average investor, hence the desire to purchase a small share of the operation. But with the minimum investment at over half the price of a single mining unit, which is easy to run for an average user, I don't see much point.

hey mate thanks for that insightful post. I will be awaiting the the new announcement for the price drop in the Block Erupter Blades. I am going to keep the 100 BTC initial startup, and remaining funds will go into further investment for more ASIC equipment, in discretion of the shareholders.

The reason why i did is that i don't want to deal with 1000's of dividend payments. However i have lowered the share cap to 40.
