They so many airdrops to sign up for and I don't know what to look out for as a newbie. Kinda lost. Direction needed here. Kindly recommend airdrops and bounties that you feel are geniue. Thanks

I have the same thought. I actually joined a lot of airdrops in Twitter. Hope somebody would know if an airdrop is legit or not.

Airdrops are cool, but if you don't make a selection you will pass all your days in just subscribing to airdrops, 99% of pure crap.

A good advice would be to probably skip all of these airdrops and focus on time and effort on more productive things. Most coins that are airdropped are worthless now and wont ever amount to anything, with 0 usable or even presentable products. Its just like faucets, it's going to keep you busy and reward you with close to nothing.

I have join around 20 airdrops but only 3 tokens arrived in my wallet then i was thinking the airdrop is wasting time.

Anyway, it's up to the user if he will sign up or not. A lot of them are free & don't need to send anything.
But it will eat your time applying for all those sprouting airdrops & might not track where you applied for.

Wait until you are Jr. Member because most airdrops don't accept newbies. But I would do some research into these coins but besides these coins are airdropped you have nothing to lose literally.

Every day keeps coming tokens.. new token airdrop. this token usually uses the standard ERC - 20 Ethereum which I think the future prospects will be good. New opportunities for hunters especially newbie, especially now there is EtherDelta exchange that lists all token ethereum.

dont waste your time for airdrops, they are so wasting time, these coin dont have much value, and you have to keep these coins for a very long time to wait until its price rising more value but most cases they dont. so dont put your hope into free airdrops, work in bounty can be much better.

I agree. MOST of the airdrops now are just $hit tokens in the Etherium platform with no real purpose or value.
The token creators are just out to make money for themselves.

Do not participate in those airdrops. Look for tokens or coins that have potential, something new to offer or solves an existing problem.

I'm not recommended airdrops because it just waste your time, so many airdrops and so many scam airdrops. better you join socialmedia bounty, read their project whitepaper or ANN and Join bounty if you interested with their project.

Could someone explain to me where the airdrops and bounty's are advertised? i have looked through the forum and been unable to find anything specific, and i am unable to use the search function. are these types of promotions normally advertised on here or via twitter/facebook/etc?

Go to the beginner section or try to use your effort to read more about the airdrop in the specific thread that discussed about the airdrop in the previous page. That will better for you to join in the ann thread of the airdrop itself and you can find the more information about that.

Do not give enough attention to airdrops. They are waste of time generally. If I were you I would rather focus on learning more about Bitcoin and altcoins so that you will be able to contribute something here through your constructive posts. That is the first thing that each and every newbie should do. When you passed this level, you may already join campaigns through this forum or through blog and video sites and social media.

I can't tell which airdrop I recommend to you I have list of airdrop here that I joined and I only got few tokens in my wallet,  some airdrop are not giving away after I signed up and mostly of them are scam need to pay 0.001 eth to received a token, If you want free money just keep signing in airdrops, just don't expect you get a profitable token but just hoping.

I barely agree on your statement but I think there are still some airdrops existing today with value though most of them are shitcoins. And I believe newbie can't focus so much on more productive things since a higher rank is required to become involved on those things. I advice you to find airdrops that doesn't need so much time and effort, I believe there are some existing out there, just find it. And it's fine if it becomes a worthless at the end, at least you don't work hard for it!  ;D

But it would be a regret if you don't jump on that coin that became valuable at the end! Who knows?

for newbie airdrop is a great place to find tokens. But do not focus on airdrop the most important is to increase your level. If you're lucky token that you get has a high selling value in the market but many also do not have a satisfactory selling value. The key is to keep the spirit in the process.

Definitely, airdrop is just a way of getting connected to the community. Look at OMG, they even have airdrops after they have completed their ICO. Also some ICO giving airdrops have a lot of potential. And needless to say, there is bounty campaign which give even more tokens. CND is one of the best example and yet it is still x2 at the ICO price.

Don't wasting time on that airdrop because not all of that is good. That is worthless also. What yuo can do is read, understand and fucos to increase your post for you to join signature campaign. And you need to high rank.

So many airdrops yet not worthy to join. Airdrop will waste of your time most of it are shit coins, display in your wallet. Look for a good project that you can earn later on. Yes, focus on posting that makes a quality post in your account.

Airdrop means free distribution of the coins. If someone is asking from you any amount of payment in order to receive the coin, then that is not an Airdrop. It is a definite scam. If you have already bought those coins in airdrops, you can just wait and hope the coin will be listed on exchange else your money is just lost.

There so many airdrop but not all are good,    but if you want just try for you to know in your own disission.

Like everyone mentioned half of the airdrops are shitdrops. You will join so many that you will eventually forget you ever joined. Most of don’t even send the coins and you can’t do anything about it. Also don’t give all you personal information unless you want spams haunting you.

One more thing. Don’t install any wallets as they might contain keylogger and other virus. Too much greediness can cost you.

Right. So many airdrops are going for now and a lot of it only worth shit. Now, you have to spend the time to different which worth or worth shit when joining in.

Airdrops are time wasting ventures although as a newbie you will be very eager to earn btc as soon as possible but consider the fact that some of this airdrops are scam it is just like working with faucets more effort with little reward, work harder in this forum by posting quality posts you will get promoted to higher ranks then you will earn btc.

This is the case with most of them that you need to pay. then wjhat is the pint of calling them an airdrop when its not free. Also they require ERC 20 as they support that system. I would love if there is any airdrop that can ask for the btc address and pay in that if they really want to do an airdrop and give free coins.

when a genuine air drop get start there is no time to inform or resarch because it reaches max participaters there fore you have to subscribe as fast you can. no time to find genuine or not try and try you will meet

Newbies usually are not involved on most profitable matters like signature campaign for which it requires higher rank than newbie. In addition if some ICO accepts newbie, the are mostly giving a low percentage of the total earnings to the newbie. So my advice is better start posting to gain activities and join only some airdrops that have requirements you can meet. After all airdrops are only free coins for distribution.

Most of the comments here are true. The stakes you get from airdrops are worthless if not scam. But when I started, I use only airdrop to increase posts count and learn from every projects about the blockchain technology. When I increased my rank from newbie I started joining bounties which give more substantial stakes.

That's why we need to join many airdrops as possible because we can't avoid airdrop that after you do their task and received tokens or sometimes they don't pay. After that, The worth of their token is useless because some of them failed to deliver what they had promise. One more thing is some developers are just doing airdrop for their own sake. They just want to earn and after that they will just completely disappear.

Airdrops is dead i guess because i lost my believe all new project. We was feel very happy 1-2 months but it's over..

don't worry about airdrop, it just need 3 minutes to register, if you have enough time just participate. I have participated in many airdrop.. three of my success airdrop are ebtc, btcred and blue token. Check their price now, fantastic.

You are perfectly right. It is really up to your luck. As mentioned, some of them can give you $200 and some of them just disappear. My tip regarding airdrops would be to join as many as you can and then hodl your tokens. Another advice is to join bounty campaings, they are much more profitable.

Is  a complete waste of time. If you want to make some few BTC or ETH and you think you are newbie, just focus on twitter ,facebook or media aspect of a bounty campaign. At the same time, you will be learning on this forum to build your account to jnr member level, within a month or two,you separate the chaff from the real.

Yes, here is many airdrop project. but most of the fake or scam project. some of them are very good project. such as IETH,POS, Eagle,IBTC etc.

if its just airdrop, signup as many as you can, one of them maybe can turn into gold, but you likely just gonna find trash at your wallet. its free anyways i take what i can and leave the rest rotten at my wallet

For newbies it is easy to join airdrops to make some money without knowing anything about crypto. Just never give your privat key. But like some people said before, bounty campaign is more profitable.

Airdrops are on the rise and this is not good for the community because this could also expose us to phishing sites that have no good intentions with our email addresses. Fortunately for me, I don't believe in this kind of freebies!

I think airdrops are a great way of distributing coins to people that can not mine them or afford to buy them, they provide a service of advertising most of the time too.

Yes there have been a lot of new airdrop coins that have been making news these days. Most of them do not last long however. One of the most genuine projects in my opinion is rebellious.io

There are airdrops that requires you to register an account to their website, never use the same password you use on your important accounts. They could try to access the email you provided with this password.

Well when something is free and you have some free time you do it. If in the process you earn something, how little that may be, its still free.
Its a win-win situation for booth the project devs and the participants in their airdrops/bounties.... the coin gets some free promotion... the participants get some free coins.

Far too many airdrops now with no real value to most if not all of them, legitimate airdrops for a real project seem to be a thing of the past, they are just a distraction now and a way for someone to make a quick buck or two just don't get caught up spending all our time chasing free money that might never come to fruition.

Most of them will not bring any profit. This is kind of lottery, except you don't invest your money, but time.

I got to know about bitcoin talk from signing up on an airdrop my friend sent me. They requested my details after the first time and I didn't bother filling the form again. How do I grow to a junior member can anyone give me tips. Plus I have difficulties navigating here but have learnt so much about crytocurrency in the past two days of being here and my questions are answered way beyond my expectation. you can join all airdrops if you want but you can not make a profit from all airdrops because there are too many airdrops and not all airdrop can get the highest price. but you can save those airdrops until the price increases so you can sell the airdrops to reach your profit. there will be more airdrops will launch in this year and next year and you can prepare to join all of them.

I guess most airdrops dont have a good selling point. most of them are just decorations in empty wallets. if you are not interested or judge a suspicious. should just ignore it, dont you follow up. you can search better

I do an airdrop for 1-2 hours a day. and a lot of tokens. most are not appreciated. but it is a big profit if only 1 of the 5 tokens arriving in a day is appreciated. you can make money without depositing any money

After eBTC there was a airdrop avalanche on this forum but now its slowing down again. There are some groups who are behind a lot of them.

yes, what I know about airdrop is like an uncertain project for my own future to follow airdrop and do a registration just to get a token included in my MyEtherWallet account. and I do not think much about the next thing either in a form of investment or in anything else. because I think the airdrop is as I say it is a development on a project that I myself would not be able to predict for the next thing in terms of whether the tomb is going to be successful or not because I know today many people are not too interested in investing airdrop so all I did was skip it because I think it will only waste my time.

I always take care of the airdrop, the first time I joined the Bitcointalk forum I was the most diligent man hunting airdrop, until my wallet was full of altcoin, but all the altcoin got more burnt rest, so it could not produce. and now I never again follow airdrop.
and bounties must be careful, I prefer bounties whose managers have recognized their success. such as thehun, jamal, hua_hui, erickvand. and others.

Lots of airdrop means lots of free token you can get. But always be careful because few of them are asking for your private details like asking for private key or asking for donation.

almost every airdrop is a scam coin. be aware. just don't give your main address away. some airdrops can be profitable but if they want a donation or a transaction of eth i recommend you to leave it. airdrops with mandatory donations are 100% fraud for me.

Lol, Now the creation of tokens is a very simple matter, so EVERYBODY can create, and there are lot of scam. For example, when you are asked to donate or enter a PRIVATE key. I would like to join the big drops from big companies

I joined all the free airdrop but fewer of them i have.I think other are scams and other as true.What do you think?but other airdrops asking private key of the wallets.If these happen I think it is scam and if you given the private key your coins will be stolen

I see tonnes of airdrop retweets everyday. Most i don't give a second look but a few I have signed up for. I usually join there telegram straight away and read back on comments quickly to see the communities responses to them. Have got a fair few tokens from them but only time will tell if they have in any value.

Airdrops will always be, as long as there are projects. This is a very good way to expand the community. In addition, it is a great way to feel the mood of people in relation to the project. Many cool projects enjoy this so far. A lot of stupid things, but there are very good things that give the chance to earn.

Airdrops are a waste of time. Majority of those are just a bunch of clones and banal ideas that doesn't even need the blockchain to work or get implemented. If you still want to pursue airdrops though, I suggest following telegram channels like Crypto_airdrops and let them do the checking.

i generally ignore most airdrops except bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold.  there are just too many of them now, and most doesn't worth my time to check out and follow them.

Yeah so many Airdrop but 50% are Real coin and have potential and 50% has no potential and scam. Do your own research first before you go start on what your planning to do with your erc20 tokens holdings  :)

Don't join the airdrop from ICO projects. The reason is that you will only get 1-10$ out of it. Only join the 100% airdrop projects like MNE, ELIX, SDRN, etc.

Please be patient because some airdrops will distributed after their ICO you just wait for it. When I'm newbie like you i filled up lot of airdrop but least of them come maybe weeks past after your wallet has token. Be patient  ;)

It is really hard to determine whether a specific airdrop is a good project or not,air drops is the latest storm in the crypto currency platform and everyone is spending a lot of time to participate in these sort of drops hoping that it could have some valuation in the future,join their telegram group and have a conversation with the team and then you will understand what their vision is.

well!, its difficult to separate good airdrops from the bad ones though, there's always a chance in signing up to the good ones. So just keep trying, you might have a long wallet list of crap coins but still you might be lucky and one will trade better! To me, i think good airdrops have a lot of restrictions to signing up (eg, Jr Member,ETH balance, etc). Good luck buddy!!!

joining airdrops became my hobby every airdrops i see in this i join hoping to be successfull but many airdrops is full of crap and full of scam but i guaranted to you can from airdrop just be patient joining airdrops umtil you see good project from airdrops and dedicated developers.

Hard to say which are going somewhere and which aren't.. i guess look at the rep of the bct user, see if the coin/token seems plausible, see if there's a roadmap, see if there's a whitepaper, website, social media etc.

There are so many airdrops and the plupart of them are scams. There are only few number of honest and promising airdrops and you need to search them carefully. Many devs tried just to collect the emails and the data of the participants to use or sell it.

The best advice of gaining profit from airdrops is to sell them in the beginning.
Most people say this. Most airdrops are scam or they will just fail. So, it is better to sell them and get money and not to hold.
Of course some of them will be probably successful, but it is a top risk.

Even if we received those coins from airdrop we can't be sure if the coin will have enough value so yes, obviously it was just a waste of time. It was just normal though for a newbie to come here just to join in airdrops and bounty without knowing those things, that is given among them.

only use your mind to use airdrop and stay away from unknown analysis

I don't think one has anything to lose, since they are free, if one or two succeed then that is a huge plus, there are some Airdrop projects that has turned into big projects and value for those that participated in them

I would advise you to do as I am -to participate in all the airdrops that you will see. As a rule, it takes me 30 seconds to fill out the form. Of course, not all airdrops will bring profit, but you will be able to get at least some profit. ;)

now is so many bounty airdrop realease, every day always have new ICO. but i recommended is CAVIAR, hero n earth token. every me join thats projects always succes n im always get the pay. but if u want try join another airdrop u must know : ICO team must have experiece peoples in crypto, how long thats company are walking and have market coin.

There are actually hundreds of airdrops but most of these coins are not giving you decent price but that's alright than not receiving any. I have participated in so many airdrops but i think i received only 30% of all the airdrops i applied for. It's hard to tell who are legit airdrops and who are not. So far, eBTC is the best token that i got from an airdrop this year.

Airdrops are free and it's cool, but there are so many useless of them who will never do nothing that the amount of time to register is not really interresting.

You can try to search THE one who will pop and make the best return on investment but it take time and a little luck.

So... or you choose to register to all (time consuming), or none and your wait for at least the ICO (but you can miss a big opportunity) ... or you just can register in some of them after some basics research (etherscan, ...). With time you will be able to get rid of 80% of the crap very easily.

Genuine? No one can say such thing into you even myself do have still confusion on which airdrop are really worth to join off since most of them do end up dying or trash and only a few would able to survive and being listed on exchanges. If you are already pissed into many airdrops then you cant do nothing but get used to it and just choose up on the airdrops that you do see that really worth off to waste a time on registering up. Excepting Stellar and Ripple airdrop, there are too many useless Airdrop now. I think I prefer bounty campaigns. I will help them introduce their projects to the  investors and I will get tokens as a salary.

I tried before joining this airdrops and few number of projects are really honests and pay the participants their tokens. The majority just try to collect the emails and the data of each participant to spam their emails or to sell this data.

Yeah I agree theres a lot of airdrop here some of my friends earn big money by register in lot of airdrop .. I try my luck in airdrop but I always get a shit token . And I hate the gas limit.. I dont understand whats the purpose of that ..thats why im very lazy to convert my tokens to eth .. Now I will try the signature campaign I hope the program that i am joining .. Pay me in a right amount because I spend my time here rather than playing my favorite game in mobile

AIRDROP is a cool thing i earn some on it ..
but you need to check first the airdrop real tight if the airdrop is real if the token is really on it..
second you must have your wallet address for airdrop only and not your personal which you used to store your ETH and some tokens from the bounties (just to be more secure)
