...well, why wouldn't they.  For some reason I am surprised that anyone wouldn't accept it.  The other day I saw i guy selling firewood in the parking lot of Kmart, I asked if would accept bitcoin and he just starred at me.  I mean I get it, but if someone is only accepting cash, why not bitcoin as well.  Makes no sense to me.  maybe next year he'll have his coinbase account ready.

Always great to hear big companies adopting cryptocurrencies! Hopefully more will follow in the near future (i'm sure they will). This is what increases coin value in the long term, not hype and propaganda. Bitcoin and crypto are headed down the right path :)

A great news for all of us, I cannot wait for other firms to accept bitcoin as their payment as well especially in our country I am waiting for the Mall's to accept bitcoin as one of the payment method, if that happens, bitcoin will be more popular and a lot of users/investors will be interested in it.

That's interesting in one way, but seeing that they also had a paper back in 2014 based around the potential use of cryptos doesn't make this too surprising. They were probably waiting for it to hit the $10k point so they would have a lot more confidence in the concept and believe that it has a legitimate place in the future of online commerce, and likely real-life banking as well. I don't know how much business they'll get out of it, but they might get a fair amount of value from higher-profile people should they need these kinds of services.

A news like this is a very good news to us all who loves bitcoin and other altcoins. For sure in the future all of accounting firms will accept the way this accounting firm do. After that, there will be more good things to happen.

Excellent news it seems everyday a few firm, fund, or corporation embraces bitcoin. I literally cannot wait for what 2018 has to bring  :). CME futures gonna pump and that NASDAQ coming in later in 2018 is gonna make BTC is gonna be a sick moonshot!

Knowing that they are the one who do the auditing of various companies then it is good they are accepting bitcoin. It might be a good way then of introducing bitcoin to their clients and since their clients are those big companies then it would be a good way of explaining to their clients what bitcoin is all about. The companies' executives are bound to listen more to the auditors than any other people because they are the one who knows the latest policies and procedures related to financial issues including bitcoin and since it is one of the biggest accounting firms, bitcoin would become more trusted.

Quite surprise to see one of the big four accepting bitcoin now as payment.


Please take note that its was announced by their Asia-Pacific Chairman. So no wonder that they accepting it because Asia is leading the way as far as bitcoin adoption is concern. They know that, so it only makes sense for them to accept it and try to test in Asia. Everyone is really trying to get on-board before this whole crypto-currency immediately explode in the next coming years. And usually this accounting firms clients are also in the top 100-500 of Forbes list. So those who's who in the industry now will have the options to pay them. So its gonna be a real boost to our ecosystem.

Wow, PWC is one of the companies that I least expected to receive BTC as a payment method. But still, this is indeed good news to Bitcoin as more big companies are adopting.

This news is useful for all the competitors many of the clients are like to this news. In future it will access anywhere and anyplace in all over the world is possible. I am waiting for that news. This is the more secured system for both of them so all are wish to wait that moment. Bitcoin should more trusted cryptocurrency in digital market.

This is great news though. If anything can convince the public that Bitcoin is the real deal, it's the financial sector buying in. If the same people you pay to do your taxes and manage your finances think Bitcoin is a viable currency, then I'm pretty sure you would be inclined to believe them lol. The revolution is really starting to take off with the Bitcoin stigma starting to fade away. Next up, scaling issues!

The mass adoption for bitcoin is real and it's real close! after Nasdaq plans to introduce bitcoin futures and now it's the adoption by one of the world's largest accounting firms.
Now I can see that why the price of bitcoin is always increasing time by time, because people are really interested to bitcoin's system which is blockchain and its efficiency!

It's a very good news, adoption is starting to come and this will be a good advertisement for a lot of their client. More people will become interested in bitcoin, do some research and know the truth, and finally the guys at wall street can't do anything about it

I think not accepting bitcoin is more surprising than accepting it, as it becomes a source for growing up our incomes and profits .
But anyway , it's a good measure that PwC took ( I guess it's late a bit ) but coming late is much better than not coming at all

This is a great news for bitcoin and it's users. To be able to be  accepted by one of the largest accounting firms is a great privilege. Because it will be a great way for bitcoin to be endorsed. Atleast people will be convinced and people will believe in bitcoin because it will be proven by a well known business especially a firm.

Nice I read Ernst Young too showed interest to bitcoin as per this article. An accounting firm for bitcoin? Come on this is a very positive news for all of us. Hold you coins and be prepared for the positive outcome of this news. When a big company says go to bitcoin, it will skyrocket.

Maybe this accounting firms really show the good opportunity they can get by accepting bitcoin, of course as accountants know how long term investment that has a higher chance of success can change the asset of a certain person or company. I am also an accountant and I'll be glad also if I'll be paid in bitcoin after doing some of auditing jobs maybe after few more years I don't need to work anymore and just established my own business using all my bitcoin earnings.

Wow this is huge for all us in the bitcoin community because if an accounting firm which is trusted, influential, and rather has a huge public trust not just to the public government trusted and accepting bitcoin then this will be the start of a step by step for bitcoin for other firms and hopefully the whole government to accept bitcoin. This will help to legitimize Bitcoin in the eyes of skeptics. Every time a major company accepts Bitcoins, it is a positive not just for Bitcoin but for the cryptocurrency community in general.

These are all baby steps to mainstream adoption which in also means stability in price and confidence in cryptocurrencies.
