Recently we witnessed another all time high in the price of BTC where value was above the $11,000 mark before a drop to around $9,200, Should we expect another ATH around $15,000 before the year runs out?

5000 dollars might be too much in a month time (50% of its value) but I do think it could hit it 1st quarter of 2018. If it were to hit 15 K in one month, then what's to stop bitcoin from hitting 100 K in 2018.  It already has gained 9000 dollars from 1000 dollars in one year.  It could go from 10 K to 100 K and then 100K to 1 M in 2019 if that trend continues.

We can't say for usre but for me I think that it should not be. It should stay at around $10000 for a healthy and stable.price before the year ends. Bitcoin's price this year is extremely surging so high and I think it should rest for awhile and wait for 2018 before it reach new highs.

We can't say it yet but it is possible ! Bitcoin is limitless and yet we can assume it is our goal. But bitcoin has already proven itself.

This is most likely to happen if the tank shark continues to push the value to make a lot of money for them.

It is hard to predict what will be the value of bitcoin. But in my opinion, We should not expect too high so we will not be disappointed if bitcoin do not reach $ 15,000 amount.  Everybody is hoping that the value of will continue increase and I am contented with the gradually increase value of bitcoin because I guess it is healthier that instantly price hike.

nothing is impossible in the crypto world. let alone just $ 15,000, $ 20,000 can be achieved. the bitcoin demand of late is so large that bitcoin prices tend to rise rapidly. so I think resist bitcoin until early 2018. there will be a surprise there.

Most likely. Might even hit 20K if these price surges continues.

anything is possible with bitcoin but rising nearly 50% in less than 1 month is not as likely as you may think. we have had big rises so far but currently there is nothing going on that can help the rally that much. and the rise and also falls are starting to become harder as the market expands which is prolonging any rise of that magnitude.

Everything is possible, but imo is unlikely considering a such short period. It reached 11k, now is little less than 10. I think it will stay around 10-11k and will start to grow next year. Just based solely on it behavior last couple of month.

From a cursory look, you may not realise the possibility of that happening. Nevertheless, with the benefit of hindsight, you'd know that even $20,000 cap is a possibility. The reasons are that the upward trend of bitcoin is strictly as a result of conformity to the laws of demand and supply. More people are getting to hear about it and as they get aware of its value and the possibility of making profit out of investing in it, they go on ahead and buy. Since the supply isn't inexhaustible, coupled with the fact that the rate at which bitcoin is mined is controlled to forestall the possibility of oversupplying the market, the higher the demand in the coming days, the higher the real price of bitcoin will go.

The question is, will demand increase in the coming weeks knowing that the supply cannot exceed demand for now? The answer is obvious. Bitcoin is at adoption phase or preadoption phase. The media hype will in the coming weeks bring in more people interested in adopting bitcoin and those whose interest is strictly investment. Another group of people we expect to join the fray are the organised financial institutions such as banks and stock exchanges. We already heard of futures whose target is bitcoin and some of those would be coming on board in as early as a couple of weeks. So it is safe to infer a price increase before the holidays. However, things may cool off a little due to Christmas spendings and resume immediately after the New year. The greatest growth driver before the end of the year would be the organised financial market funds.

i think so but if hit at $15k it was be so great for all of the investors like me so we pray for that because everyone will be happy when bitcoin increase for that currency we hope for that because we have a trust on bitcoin!

it seems that that bull trend has over and now there will be some kind of normal  and organic growth
also there are coming Christmas and New Year  when lot of people will start to buy some presents, so they need fiat..

its not means i'm not believe the potential of bitcoin to reach 15,000usd before end of the my prediction that said amount maybe hit in the 2nd month of 2018 next year because my analysis 4,000usd increase in 1 month is to expensive.

I do not believe it will hit $15,000 before year end but then again bitcoin has been known to defy technical predictions. So if it crosses $15,000 it's a plus for me irrecspective of my belief.

Nope, it's hard to say yes. I'm sure the price of bitcoin will not hit $15,000 before the end of the year, even the price is hard to stay on $10,000 right now, keep up and down on $9k-10k. In my opinion the price of bitcoin will stuck at $9,000-10,500 until the end of the year.

It was looking possible when price hit $11k few days back and now price has gone below $10k and its getting lower and lower slowly now so its hard to expect that price by the end of the year and I will be satisfied even if it achieves $12k price at the end of the year as its also an very good price to achieve.

I think it can not. Fast growing mean fast dropping so the best thing is bitcoin need stay at 10000 or below then it could be a continuous increase in 2018.

Keep calm, and let bitcoin do that too as well as wait for the correct time in order to let it go there. Going straight to 15k means just a 50% spike in value, but think of it. Just 50%, really? 15k really takes a lot more capital to be achieved, and I believe it's not good for bitcoin itself to do it this quickly because it may probably give critics to start thrashing again on its "bubble" existence and may scare a few investors who trust in this, that it may blast off soon, but towards the wrong end. I'm in complete support of bitcoins and just like every other bitcoiner, I also want it to grow but not like this.

I agree, it's not posible to reach $15,000 in the next year. Because now the value of bitcoin is staying around $11-$10, so in the next few year i think he hit that amount.

we still have a month to see the price hit $15,000 and if the conditions like yesterday, then I think we can hit that price before year end. it still possible for bitcoin to reach that price but of course, we need to wait for the price increases back. but we need to break $4,000 before we hit $15,000 and we only hope that decrease of the price yesterday, it is the correction of the bitcoin price.

I certainly hope not, at least for 2017, yea I think it may very well hit your target some time in 2018, hopefully late 2018, volatility in this market is a given. However this past thirty / forty days has given us entirely to much volatility and today (Thursday) we have seen the price of this volatility. Gradual growth is moderating a steady increase in value, high volatility and growth encourages panic buying, just as panic selling increases a decline in value. Those with a steady hand, know the difference.

What I observed is bitcoin in correction mode at the level of 10000 USD and I believe that end of 2017 is not impossible but having doubt to achieve what you mentioned but end of January 2018 there will be full chance to achieve that goal comfortly and it is safe for all bitcoin investor as well users.

Correction at each high level should be proving the consistency of bitcoin from that correction level if it bonce back is the preferred to prove that bitcoin is strong enough to grow with potential.

Yes 100% possibilities of Bitcoin will touch 15000$in the middle of this year. Because bitcoin povers increased day by day and many companies accept bitcoin as payment processor.

I think it is way possible, if it doesn't hit $15,000 at least we are likely possible to hit $13,000 - $14,000 before the year ends. This is the not the end of the price pump of bitcoins because as of now there are a lot of altcoins still going up and usually the case is that the market shifts from altcoins into bitcoins which causes a huge pump on bitcoins and a big dump on alts, which I think has not yet happened. The price of alts going down is just a reflection of how much bitcoins has raised up and the price of alts still maintained their USD values.

The correction should be bigger before reaching a new ATH. I do not think it will happen until year end.

An ATH before the year yes, but not anywhere near $15,000 but then again we cant write off this possibility because with bitcoin nothing is impossible, and I have noticed that as the price of bitcoin keeps growing more investors and more noticeably institutional investors are joining the bandwagon of bitcoin, which is evident that the digital currency is gaining mainstream acceptance and price should keep growing more naturally and we might hit mid $12000 .

Bitcoin is in full form now days. It has reached $11000 mark this week. Predictions were to hit $10000 by the end of December 2017. Bitcoin has achived it a month before. Now corrections are expected. But it will bounce back and may hit the target of $15000. Bitcoin has moved to this extend by crossing many barriers, like ban from China, Indonesia and regulations by Australia etc. These news had no effect on bitcoins growth. Its traders and investors have trust and confidence in bitcoin.

It already growed to 11k+$ and jumped back to ~9k$ level. Now we can see a correction before future growing.
But if traders will want to fix their profit before New Year, we shall see a deeper correction. To 5-6k$ maybe...

nah,i don't think so as you yourself said that it touched 11k$ mark and it dropped to 9200$,so that what is going to happen in this year and 5000$ increase is great mark to reach,so this month i won't be possible but maybe by end of first quarter of 2018 it can reach this value or may even extend it by the end, because till then more users will be joining and seeing the new price hike more people are gonna invest in it.

It is very possible to hit 15k mark, since we had a great run in a 1 month span. I hope it continues. I think the price falls to 9.2k because some people released supply or sold their btc coz they are afraid that btc might crash anytime, they just want to grab the opportunity while btc is at ATH, if everyone can hold it till the year end it could be possible to hit more or less $15k. I heard there will be a huge price correction in Jaunuary, so I think we still have this month to make another good run.

Now there will be a correction, and again will rally the cost of bitcoin.

Maybe yes maybe not, no one can really say if how much the coin can end this year. it is barely stabilizing in the $10,000 level and it may even go down before the year ends. There are a lot of investors who already sold their coins when the price crossed the $10,000 boundary.

Easily,  I had a vsion we would very briefly see $20,000 before Christmas but only touching then back down to $15,000.

I don't think this could happen considering the time of only about 30 days. And since bitcoin has gone south this past days, I think It'll need time for recovery before rising back. I'm predicting $12k-$13k for a more possible rate by the end of the month.

It will, it may be and it may not be. what our duty is to invest into it with full confidence and watch it grow. no, i dont think it will reach 15000$ so easy in just one month, bitcoin is rising now but it is very fluctuative that we can never guess exactly what will happen to bitcoin price in next month, but i really hope not thing is impossible so as long as it keep rising it will always bring me profit.

I think bitcoin cant reach $15k before the year end because as of now bitcoin is now around $10k and its hard to increase its value to $15k in just one month but if that would happen then its good to hear because if the value of bitcoin is $15k then we can earn big in signature campaign and mining.We will be able to earn big before the year end if that would happen specially to those ho save their bitcoin in their wallet and waiting for the value to increase that the right time to sell bitcoin so that youll be able to earn much bigger and get rich instantly.

Very hard to predict BTC price but I think the good choice is to keep BTC al long as possible. Maybe 10 years or more and than you will earn a lot.

Today we are experiencing the price drop of bitcoin which is actually what many are expecting after the pump that makes us amazed on bitcoin. The last check I made bitcoin now falls to $9500 from $11000 well I guess for some this is a serious case but in my opinion as the cycle of bitcoin plays in few days we will be welcoming a new hit in bitcoin price and that is $15000. I think the bitcoin will fall in december because many will sell their bitcoin because the coming christmas but I think the bitcoin will increase in 2018 because many will invest it and many are buying bitcoin and maybe the price of bitcoin will increase and we may be surprised that the bitcoin has reached $ 50000 in 2018 or higher.

I think it will.Since bitcoin is currently having a dropdown of price,i think next in line will be increasing its value again.So it's really possible that it will hit $15k before new year.It would be a very big surprise for all of us users.

For me, it is a no! $15000 is too much, considering the price correction happening right now. Plus the holiday season, lots of cashout transaction might happen because of that, let us just hope that it can't really affect the price rally for this month. I guess after red days are done it might slowly surge up again but it will not be going to hit that value. But the possibility is always there, especially if the forks that we've heard are really true and official.

It is very much possible. It has been rising quite steadily for some time. More and more people are buying bitcoin.

15000$ before year end? Sure. Also up to 20000$ until January-first week of March 2018. There might be correction for a while by 1500-2500$ but it will grow up very fast.

As it stands at today, if demand for btc continues, the $15k possible....its just day 6 today in December. 

If the situation continues to develop this way, then by the new year bitcoin will cost 20,000. But I think that now the cost reduction will begin. Too dramatic went the rise in price, I think this is speculation.

Bitcoin reaching $15,000 is definitely a possibility since there are still a few weeks left before the year changes. Though I don't think the price will stay there if ever it reaches $15,000 cause there might be an adjustment of around $500 before it settles on a price before the year changes. The only thing I'm hoping to happen on 2018 is that bitcoin will have the same price trend increase similar to this year.

I think it will not happen anymore especially this year's end. Can Bitcoin Hit $ 15,000 I think about 13,000 USD per 1 bitcoin but it's bigger than it was in recent years that it's almost half the price now. So we're going to have a lot of fun today. Maybe next year it will reach 15,000 USD per 1 Bitcoin.

Bitcoin now hits $13000 and approaching $15000 soon! This is very incredible I am so much overwhelm but somehow I think its quite too risky now because when you buy bitcoin at this very high value for investment I'm afraid at one point you can lose everything I just hope that this value will remain and keeps going and if ever drop will soon recover and give much higher price.

The growth was extremely fast. Movements were very unpredictable.  Reasons of great increase were unclear and no one say what really causes bitcoin price go up like this. Every week new record is being achieved and I think it is scary and something to worry about.
I think it feasible but why are people wanting to push it higher that fast ? Can't get enough of free profits ?

I think yes, just look at the prices that are catching up. I mean in just one day Bitcoin has reached out 2k rise and that 980 million USD investment in last 24 hours man, can’t imagine how much money is that. Have you ever imagined that and people are getting into it like crazy. They now know that how prices of the bitcoin can increase and make them rich, that is the only reason and that’s the people greed which getting it naturally pumped.

Well you know the value of bitcoins depends on many factors and the one factor that you can always trust on is the demand and the supply rule and the bitcoins are going to be brought by big whales and the companies like CME thus for sure their value is going to sky rocket and probably they are even going to hit higher than 15k $.


Also we will experience many hardforks this december and just before the starting of the new year thus for free money you can genuinely imagine a lots of sheeps floking in thus for sure... Its gonna gain a momentum and achieve a lot ..

Yes it can finish the year by crossing 15000$. I am really happy with this rerise of bitcoin after a tmporary decline after that 10K.

It really depends on the users but I think that a lot of people now has been wise when it comes to decision making with their bitcoin although bitcoin has reached $10k just like the prediction of others still they don't cash out their btc so the tendency bitcoin is still increasing, I think $15k is not impossible to achieve.

To be honest, this really can happen. Judging by how bitcoin have been moving for the past few months, no one can deblny the possibility of this happening. But, i think it is too high to expect for this year alone. Considering that it is already december and its price really is bound to drop after december 18. But maybe early next year, this wilo happen. Maight even surpass $15k.

At this rate 15,000 will be reached prior to year end if everything continues the path it has had the past few days, however if that comes to a stall that could possibly lead to that correction or whatever you want to call it by Xmas time since that's when most people will decide what track to continue due to needing $$ or just playing it safe.

It is not only $15000, there are a lot of rumors going on in telegram channels that bitcoin will reach $22000 before the year end and I hope these rumors will come true, I am waiting to gain more profit before 2018.

Those aren't rumors, rather predictions and they are probably based on the fact that bitcoin futures will soon be traded on the CME and more than likely we will see a price over $15000 before mid december, but exactly how high it will go is impossible to tell.

Watch out for China, Japan and South Korea, if their buyers want then they can get it 20k by the end of the year! I mean pretty much all the growth from the past 24hrs can be attributed to them!

$15,000 is so close and while 2018 is approaching, Bitcoin is getting stronger but yet volatile.

I don't think that bitcoin will hit that price because bitcoin still have a lot of demand that is needed in order to push the price of bitcoin to that range of price because the demand for bitcoin right now is just hype and it will take a few days before we can see bitcoin that is getting stable at the 5 digit price.

Yes expect another all time high, the price hits $12,600 now and this year is going to have a very good run. If you are keep on holding you can get more than $15,000. There is still enough time for this month before the year ends and $15,000 is quite close so almost $3,000 needs to be filled before we see this year end at $15,000. But if it will not possible for this year, it can go crazy on January.

It's totally possible my friend. Just take a look at Bitcoin price at the moment, it's 13k$, LOL. Bitcoin price is increasing like crazy from over 11k$ to 13k$ in just a single day. Let wait and see how far it can go before the end of this year, maybe it even can get over 15k$ in this year :D

Well, based on the current market value of Bitcoin we may likely see Bitcoin reaching $15,000 before end of December this year. Currently Bitcoin is about to reach $13,000 height which will be a base for the next move to $15,000 before end of December this year.

Though others have speculations about the corrections of the prices made to the Bitcoin recently because it was so fast rising price from early November which was $7,000 only and now the price has reached the $13,000 already earlier, though it is down to $12,920 as of this writing.  Let's just hope for the best to everyone by having to hold the Bitcoin for much bigger and better price. You are right for once. It is a little bit difficult to predict Bitcoin value for even one month because digital currencies are so fluctuating and difficult to determine that no one can produce some accurate predictions about their values. Bitcoin fluctuates the most. 

Still if I have to give my opinion in this regard, I think Bitcoin’s price will linger between $10,000 and $13,000 in this month of December. I can be wrong so no offense.

As of this moment the value is still increasing and many people getting interested about bitcoin. Though, some of them until this time didn't believed because of there pride that already judged us, as bitcoiner's that bitcoin will suddenly fall but in reality it's value getting high unexpectedly. Also, some altcoins getting high and still pumping its value which can be good as tradable and gives a good profitable value that makes everyone happy and hoping a good flowing on this bitcoin to hold as much as to be contented for better prices as well.

It's absolutely bananas to me that bitcoin answered your question within a week; whenever bitcoin does big price jumps like this everyone starts to get nervous, a few people sell of their coin, the price goes down for a little bit... but all in all it just keeps climbing, pushing past all resistance.

Now I wonder if we can break $20,000 or perhaps go below $10,000 again before years end. Bitcoin has already surpassed an all time high of 15K USD. Now they are saying that by end of 2018 Bitcoin will be at around 50k USD. I am not sure when trading Bitcoin futures, what that will do to the price as the whales will probably short it and so there may be a big dip at the time of futures trading but then it may slowly go up even more and reach maybe 200k USD by 20202. I hope I can have at least one Bitcoin by then as I will be 63 years old and would like to be at least semi retired by that time.

Well i think it is. I had already assumptions last month that Bitcoin will only be able to reach 10000 USD before this year end but it surpassed my expectations when it broke the 10000 USD mark before December and that surprised me the most. So I think with this one, and since the market value of Bitcoin is continuously growing and becoming more expensive  it is possible and chances are high that it will reach 15000 uSD before this year end.

This is natural to the bitcoin value. It is unstable or unsteadt state and because of this bitcoin can difficult whats the next price if it is rising up or dropping low. Lastly we see the rapidly dropping price of bitcoin in starting of 11,000$ its drop to the 9,000$ and in this month i doubt if it continue to rise again in the range of 15,000$ but i hope it will happen because its a good gift toghe christmas

i think the price of bitcoin still unpredictable...it can be higher and higher than the price at present...but I almost pretty sure that the price of bitcoin will hit until $15,000 before year end. currently bitcoin price has reached $ 16,640 is really a very positive progress in  show bitcoin until in a relatively short time bitcoin prices have been so high, and I hope if this bitcoin progress will continue until next year on wards which will certainly be received with a sense of excitement of all bitcoin users in various countries.

Bitcoin is currently on the way to the moon and so shall it continue to grow in value. As at the time of this post bitcoin value is above $15,400 which some us believe that it will reach $20,000 if not above before end of this year.

Your question is already answered, it already touched 17000$ above when i am writing this post and it is still rising and not showing any resistance at this price. No one can now imagine that when it stop rising or its resistance level comes as everyday a new lifetime high created by it.

We might really see the $20,000 before the end of this month. I must admit I didnt believe that this was possible, but this unpredictable market proved my pessimistic expectations wrong again. But to be honest I think this is insane and the price is completely out of control. It cant be healthy for an asset to soar like this. Totally agree. This Bitcoin path is full of blank spots that I am looking for seeing filled. I just read about the "Digital Whales" (around 1000 people who owns 40% of the Bitcoins), this people is going to have, and, I suppose, they already have, a considerable amount of power.
