Just go to coinmarketcap, search for your currency, in this case it's https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/iota/
Then you click the Market tab and it will show all available markets you can sign up at and trade. If it's not listed there, then there's no useful volume to track, so you would be wasting your time anyway. Anyway for IOTA I can only see MIOTA/USD at Bitfinex and Exrates. you can use Tether at OKEx. It depends only on the exchange you make the operation. So even if you buy in USD, Pounds or Euro's, at the end of the day it should come out to be the same.

But USD is more common comparing with euro. you can transfer usd to major exchanges, they will give you usdt and you can buy btc using usdt. And then you can exchange btcs for IOTA.
