Btc has run too far too quickly possibly due to manipulation by hedge funds. But it wont crash too hard I think. By guess is undervalued alts will rally hard now. Just a guess

With many ICO going to implementation phase soon, the tide may change towards new coins compared to the old ones. Maybe the wave of ICO will hit a new high.

Yes bitcoin rose more than 25% in just 1 month and now its taking breath , from here i think bitcoin will be range bound for some time and then again will cross $12000 level in next 2-3 months because most of online site now accepting bitcoin as their payment gate way and also bitcoin demand increasing day by day so its price  will rise more and more from here , the other side some altcoins also have just doubled in just 1 month but now bitcoin and also altcoins are falling because some profit booking from investor, but its nothing to worry, If you want to but you can buy here and of you are holding , you will get more profit.

I don't think so though Bitcoin price is dropping bit by bit this past few days, Alt price will still go up slowly like the past days unless there will be a whale to pump those alt coin but doing that is very risky especially if those alt is not community driven like Bitcoin, ETH etc. Also not because most of alt coins ICO will end it is not a reason for those alt coin price to go up because most of the alt coins ICO now are just being used to get money then after ICO dev will left or they'll update slowly.

Hoping for that to happen but just cannot feel it yet.
I have too many altcoins in my etherwallet account and I want them out.
Problem is there is no ROI if I sell now. Time for developers to make it happen or other investors to go back to their altcoins.

While bitcoin is still in its high value at this time, there is still a slim chances of altcoins to shine because most of the altcoins are being ignored specially those that are not top rated. When the bitcoin are in bearish mode, then that is the right time for the altcoins to shine. ICOs and Forks are the trending altcoins today so let's wait for it and we will gain higher.

I'm not so sure. Everyone is a bit wary now due to the massive whole market correction. I think we'll see relative stability for a while, with maybe small rises. I would welcome an alt rise, but just not sure we'll see it yet.

Yeah,I think it is the time because some of the altcoins with good potential is still undervalued.I hope the year 2018 will be the year for ETH and LTC.Already these both coins showed us good growth rate,but I think it is just a beginning in some years ethereum price will get expensive.
But don't invest on only one coin because there is high risk in crypto currency prices so invest on different coins to make safety for our investments,if one coin fails to increase other coin will manage it. :)

No One altcoin leading in altcoin coming rally will be ethereum! Ethereum development has been consistent and slow! So also is the price! Ethereum is the onloy alternative in the true sense of the word to Bitcoin.

I think eth is just doing fine since it gave many roles to many erc20 tokens in the market. LTC on the other hand is somewhat still slow in the market but their could be a chance that it will increase more in price. Since bitcoin is overvalued, a lot of traders now will find cheaper and lower altcoin to invest in while hodling or using bitcoin just for mining.

Yes, especially bitcoin is shine this year before end of the year. Another alts is also up, like BCH.

I don't think it's going to go back up. Unlike bitcoincash, it doesn't really have a community, and most exchanges arn't listing it.

Yep, prices are going for correction especially since the prices went down and now bitcoin price is also going down people are going to reinvest back to alts.

I think and am saying this from experience that the money that flows in bitcoin then usually make its way to etherium and other large cap coins which are then followed by mid cap and then small caps. So rising value of eth in terms of bitcoin(btc-eth pair) is a good sign that alts are gearing up for the next pump.

The correction happened, now people will go back investing in altcoins. I think this is a good news, they should give a shot a worth investing projects (although there are only few alts that has a strong potential to run for a long time), anyways, it's really the time for alts to rise.

I hope that you are right and alts will start to grow, because now I have big losses. But I do not think that everything will be the same as last year in spring when there were many coins well grown, some of them will remain at the same place. Don't you think that your guess is only based to the actual increase in altcoins prices today!! We can't admit that altcoins can be all in high exchange volume biding all high prices although it's more easy to observ bitcoin with details from the markets. Altcoins are in different stages and each one attract the traders/investors by his own way. Coindesk has published a great rapport about the crypto market for the last three months with graphic detailed charts. That article explains well the behaviors of the players and estimate the stability of the prices by the end of this year.

I agree in regards to Bitcoins rally. It was way too fast and likely due to manipulations by big players. I sense the correction is around the corner, but if it happens, alts may also suffer and not start to soar up. Just my opinion on it.

Yes, i also think the same. This is the era of ALTCOINS now and everyone is aware of it. Nowadays we can see that people are more concerned in investing in the altcoins because it has a huge potential and is giving a good profits to the investors. Different Altcoins like ETHEREUM, MONERO etc are going well in market and is now having a good market foundation. So just invest in alts if you really want to earn some profits.

That is why I believe that many of the altcoins already had pumped prices through this week. The ups and downs are being adjusted according to the prices of bitcoin. I clearly saw how the alts went down when the bitcoin was going down since two days. Now bitcoin has got its dominance again and it is on the verge of going back to 11K today or may be more who knows really! So alt coins will follow the same in the future to come.




Hopefully we don't see that one and I don't loose my investment in the meantime. Lolz.

I'm not sure about alts right now. All will depend on bitcoin  where he goes. I'm actually more bearish on alts now.

Hmm we may be jumping the gun a little, alts have already shines the whole of the past year! Bitcoin has done 10x, but look at the crazy returns of all the alts since January. I think the main alt run is done, wait until next year for another push.

The fall of the altcoins that happened on November 30 was not even the correction of the market. It was a temporary event — just a trick of big traders to earn a lot. I do certainly believe alts will follow on growing.

I agree that this might be the right time now for alts. Bitcoin has had a too strong run and has shot up too far in very less time. I hope the alts could wait another 2-3 weeks or so, need some more accumulation to do.

In time alts will definitely have their bull run and catch up to where they should be relative to bitcoin. I think that it won't be for a few more weeks as bitcoin is still growing quickly on the back of futures speculation and new investment having passed 10k.

I think once the bitcoin price is a bit more stable people will come back to altcoins, myself I have been picking up a few altcoins whilst the price was low.

You have a good guess. My prediction would be the same. The rally hasn't been started yet. We should fastening our seatbelts and get ready for the roller-coaster. And without a guess, there is that possibility of altcoin to pump up when Bitcoin drops in price. For example,the prices of Bitcoins and alts mimic each other (generally with alts following Bitcoin), then Bitcoin goes off on a tear leaving alts behind, then alts start to catch up (they tend to lag when BTC goes on a rip, but not always), then alts drop (acting as if they are oversold), then after some more growth Bitcoin sees a sell-off (upon which investors often move into alts quickly, thus spiking alts), then alts fall back down the previous levels while Bitcoin recovers, and then the prices reattach and start to mimic each other again.

I think more and more money is entering the crypto sector so bitcoin and altcoins will all
do very well in coming years.

I also think that such a strong growth of Bitcoin in such a short time is due to manipulation of major players and correction will not keep you waiting, and when corrected, altcoins may follow Bitcoin into the abyss. Many alternate currencies has risen now. Many ICOs are trying to rise up their names to the top and I hope these ICOs will be successful, but bitcoin, I guess will still be the number one coin. But as for alts are the topic here, alts prices are pumping like bitcoin's, and many more investors are starting to invest, so let's watch how the coin's curve will rise.

I think i will agree that after the rise of bitcoin, some other alts will follow and will rise up also. I think aside from bitcoin, there are also many investors who want to invest in good alts since it can also give a good profit. Indeed, we have witnessed a similar scenario this year for two times if I remember correctly. One was of short duration and alts started to recover after bleeding together with BTC (but also bc BTC was recovering). The second time alts didnt recover anymore and fell into a bear market for several months (while BTC recovered and rose to new all time highs). Alts then recovered lately, so there is already some growth here, but they are not on the same level as they were already this year. Lets see what happens next.

I agree with you as for  the past three days most of the altcoins are in green. Bitcoin also has developed another bullish momentum since yesterday as it is close to $12,000 and before tomorrow it might be above $12,000 and the benefits is that fund are going to flows back to altcoins markets during corrections.  Ico project are also coming up I have gone through some of the ico investment page especially the one that I am promoting now (Matrixcoin)  has raised above $18,000,000 and people are becoming aware of cryptocurrencies now.

Good point, didn't think of that one. There were a lot of ICOs earlier this year and now the products should be close to a release version. This will drive up the demand and value for a lot of alts. Next year will be big so it will be interesting if bitcoin falls as a result, or if both will rise.

Keep telling yourself that altcoins will shine soon :D You see now that all of the altcoins are crap with no real value, People who dumped their coins already to buy bitcoin know this to be true. The same pumping investors will try to pump and dump their coins when they have enough bitcoin.

That's right, I think when the time comes when bitcoin would actually halt it's staggering gain that it has been riding this past few weeks. That would be the time for altcoins to get back on its feet and gain traction set up a price increase. I think what brought about its recent declined is the focus of people shifting to bitcoin due to its price. If that price gain would stop, there would be another focus shift, this time, to the altcoins that would help it gain more value. Hopefully, it won't take long though, for the people who has been investing a lot in altcoins.

Undoubtedly Altcoin will shine! It has many promising ICO. Right now Bitcoin is the king in crypto currency but who will know, time may bring change, it is not impossible that it will happen.

This is why im already preparing for this time to come on where i do already spotting some undervalued alts which do have potential to shine up.We are enough on the price increase of bitcoin and the time on where alts would shine would really be near its either on the start up on year 2018 they would significantly move bullish trend for sure and we have seen it already on some erc20 tokens if we do try to see on charts.

yes im agree with yours opinion. altcoin are droping and doesnt not rising lately. i believe this is because people still love to invest in bitcoin. but now bitcoin already reach the maturity. its time for altcoin to shine indeed. im investing in ethereum and ETC i believe both are a great coin that have a good fluctuation in the market. LTC is good coin too and you might be want to consider stellar lumens in your mind, latelty its been rise so high even thought bitcoin rising. i believe XLM could rise more than ever before.

Now, altcoin had been small decreased. I think it's normal situation. Just be patient please and waiting for many time until altcoin decrease. If you want to buy some altcoin you can buy, and you can hold if altcoin in higher price :)

Those were my thoughts also, but I did my research and decided to invest on AppCoins, since it is a utilitary token and not a cryptocoin itself. Now with the news of another country (Mexico) getting tough on cryptocurrencies and ICOs, I believe it was a clever choice. What do you think?

Altcoin has been shining since the begning of this month! Interestingly we are seeing profit in 50, 75 times of some initial prices of some of these alt at the begining of this year!. I think some investors will try to invest with altcoins just to make sure that they will have a back up once bitcoin will start to fall down. Because they think that once the bitcoin starts to decrease, some altcoins will start  to shine.

Good thing that I didn't allocate all my resources to one type of investment. I've already gained a lot from holding Bitcoins that I totally forget about trading. I just do hope that what you are saying will come true. I have waited for so long and wanted to seize every moment of it. My patience couldn't hold on any longer.It's been months now and I couldn't wait any longer. I am planning to move with ICOs once it is said and done. I do not think so. The reason is because bitcoin's price is around $ 20k. So it's hard to say now that you will shine any coins. You have to go ahead with a little time.

I hope altcoins will rise in the next year and will continue to shine like bitcoin. But there are still a lot of things that will happen so we really can't predict for sure.

Yes, agreed with you that it is a good time to shine altcoins market. I am also of opinion that altcoins have a long future and bull run is just started and many altcoins go to moon in this bull run.

MY portfolio was shrinking like crazy but now thank God it is beginning to show signs of life and some are mooming winch is nice. I saw one of my coins that was dying and made me sit in a big loss pool, finally go into profit today but I am hodling and not selling it. I am glad at last that holding some coins has paid off and we may see the Altcoin Spring now at least that we all have been waiting for now. Of course if I had sold back in July I would have been ten times better off just holding Bitcoin but am not upset, I am at least seeing some improvement in the markets over all.

Now altcoins are pumping. Before when bitcoin was going up, atlcoins were dumping mostly. Especially coins under $100 are on rise. I believe that 2018 will be the year of altcoins. We should pick 4-5 altcoins which is on deep and put out money on them. But also we must keep 50% of our money on bitcoin. Because it keeps going up.

Alts that solve all the problem bitcoin has will get their attention right now.

I feel like the Altcoin rut is finally over, and FINALLY the potential of many Alts is slowly being realized.
My wallets are healthy AF and everywhere I look is GREEN: Qtum, Neo, Lisk, TenX, OMG, Nem, Power Ledger, Ark, Iota, Eos, Stratis and of course Ethereum and Litecoin..
