Title: Claiming Bitcoin Cash from Breadwallet long after the fork Post by: fridgren on December 01, 2017, 02:34:38 PM For a potential case where someone held BTC in Breadwallet at the moment of the BCH fork, but moved all BTC from Breadwallet afterwards without claiming the BCH: is there any way to claim the BCH at this point? In this case, it has been tried and failed to import the wallet to a BCH wallet on BTC.com via the mnemonic code. Is there any other method that can be used?

https://electroncash.org/ Select BIP39 option in electroncash and specify m/0' in derivation path on the next screen. You might see all your bitcoin addresses + bitcoin cash in wallet which you can than move anywhere you like. First make sure that you don't have any bitcoin balance in that wallet. |
