Well that will be nice seeing as it's the only coin I have been able to mine and get any significant amount from. I have been trying to mine using various tools and nicehash is decent for btc for a simple GUI miner, but I found a nice GUI miner for LTC and it's been getting me about 500k litoshi/day. I know that isn't great or anything, but for me it's decent. Any rise in LTC will make me happy so I look forward to see what this news is about.

Also Charlie must tweeting for good news :) Litecoin will increase anyway so why is everybody want it now? Be polite dude, if you don't you will sell your Litecoin when it reached $200 ;)

He's deleted the tweet now and said 'I didn't want to mislead people so I deleted the tweet'.  I'm still curious as to what's to come.

Acceptance means selling pressure. This isn't exactly good news for people in for the long term gain or people who are buying right now, near the top. Still wonder who it's going to be though.

I'm wondering as well, but looks like he spoke too soon and may have even be wrong.

I'm holding enough LTC to benefit, but this is just a speculation at the moment.
And I can't see how a single acceptance of LTC would change the market if it's not Amazon or at this rang.

Lets see whats the big news and the big service accepting litecoins and how it affects the pricing.

He's trying to do the right thing again. If he says it's big, it's big. There was a buying opportunity a few days ago, thanks to BTC flashcrash, but LTC can easily go to 200$, because it has a relatively small market cap with a lot of LTC concentrated in a few hands, pumping is trivial.

i know what it is, The IRS is going to be accepting LTC as a part payment before they send us all to jail for tax evasion!

I always believe in litecoin but this tweet will make it more eciting for ltc holders. If amazon or ebay accepted ltc before btc it is possible that ltc will skyrocket. Cannot wait what will adopt ltc.

If it's true then it will be a great news, recently ltc price had rising really fast and I think LTC deserve a spotlight after a long time accompany bitcoin, ltc got a very good feature, the transaction speed is really fast and I will be very happy to see ltc able to rise again

Usually, when the announcement of big news coming is out, prices go up, and when the big news is finally out, prices go down. But the rumors, sell the news :)

Actually i have no litecoin so far but i think its good coin and can grow up.
Recently i saw the price is up together with etherium.

I agree with some comments above stating that it won't affect too much with the price. The community has passed that point where the price gets pumped every time there is a new service accepting Bitcoin or altcoins. LTC is a big altcoin now and the community has matured. A "major service" acceptance almost means nothing now unless it's something like Facebook or Amazon.

With Bitcoin transaction fees getting higher as the price goes skyrocket, I really expect major service like Steam to accept Litecoin, honestly. At this point, it is just too expensive to buy something like $20 Steam wallet top-up with Bitcoin, the fees could be as high as $5. It would be much cheaper and much faster with LTC. From now on, BTC could be treated as a main store of value, just like gold, and LTC as a daily means of payment.

I also think that litecoin will be fine. Very stable coin. Maybe not over tech, but very reliable. Fast and cheap transactions. SEO they are very good. And now more good news. I think that soon the 100 will run and fly

LTC is a coin that you can trust. As mentioned, it is very stable. I am really curious about the upcoming news about it, even though I don't have that much LTC :-[

Not only this but in some sites, i've read about someone trying to give the more speculation about the litecoin as the serious competitor to the bitcoin. But just waiting for the service that already mentioned in his tweet.
if that seems to be a big service and a big hype in the future.

Litecoin is a good alternative to bitcoin  as a payment token. Bitcoin could be use to store value and Ltc to pay on daily basis. Ltc is actually undervalued when you compared its possibilities with bitcoin's possibilities.
I am eager to see what's behind this announcement and I hope it's not just market manipulation. 

Litecoin is a good stable coin for future. Every long term investor should have invested in LTC.

I read an article regarding the LTC that was posted on nov. 30 regarding the capacity of LTC to compete with bitcoin. According to the article, LTC is the true competitor of the BTC because they have the same target and the same purpose of bitcoin unlike ETH that targeting different market.

They keep doing this - mysterious tweets to persuade people to buy, and then deleting them.

There is no smoke without fire. I think he realized his mistake too late and hype-mechanism has been launched.

I've always felt that LTC is only worth the hype, because his technology is not only a little backward, but it's not keeping up with The Times.

Yes this is really very good news. Litecoin is the currency that will show the world good surprises. It is extremely fast, safe and stable. I think its market capitalization will only grow with time. Now it costs almost $100, and its price will rise.
