The fact is the price of LTC will rise, wether its to $15 or $100, im surprised more people are not digging more into LTC at the moment, instead people here are focusing on these shit coins that come out ever 2.5 seconds.

 We will see a huge rise in LTC soon, especially when LTC hits Mt.Gox.

 Obviously some of you will have differed opinions, but im telling you we will have a huge rise, and a lot of people here will be hitting themselves in the balls after they see it go to the moon, and they didnt buy a ticket.

While I am not sure how much LTC will be 1 year from now I do think the
price is going up. Litecoin is gaining users left and right as they leave
bitcoin to mine litecoin. The difficulty for litecoin has been going up and up
which proves people are coming on board at a very quick rate.

I've just recently stopped mining Litecoin because the diff is now too high. I think others will start following suit, particularly new people arriving into the crypto scene.

Only the most efficient or those stealing electricity will be left in the end.

If it was going to be $15, $25 etc after it hits mt gox......then it'd already be close to whatever figure you predict.

one day perhaps LTC will hit $10 but not any time soon I suspect, why ? because I want it to hit $10.

Def gonna hit $10 but it may be a while.

In my dreams LTC is $100+

bitcoin has to crash entirely and there will be a small probationary period before litecoin becomes accepted enough to gain traction. Right now Bitcoin value is affecting all the other cryptocurrencies including litecoin its now at $2 and will drop as low as $1 where collapse remains a possibility.

There is no way it hits $10-$25 while bitcoin is hovering around $65
$10 was a definite possibility when btc was $100-130 but now...

Litecoin isn't pegged on BTC.

There's no reason why LTC won't rise with the fall of BTC.

The LTC/BTC ratio has been going up steadily.

LTC hasn't went sub $2 in a while on BTC-e.

I am talking about the LTC/BTC ratio, not the USD market.

While BTC dropped, the LTC/BTC rate went up 0.01, that's nearly a 50% increase.

Where are you trading at that got 1.9?

A year in bitcoin/litecoin terms is a long time.

Think about what the price would be in 365 days from now.

365 days ago the price of Litceoin was ~$0.04 each...and now ~$2.50 each.

Bitcoin was $7.50 365 days ago and now $75 :D

right now theres no easy way for litecoin to be purchased with us dollars, you have to purchase a bitcoin and trade it for litecoins. thats why i think at least right now the btc/ltc price is the more important factor.  also why i think litecoin is so undervalued. have litecoins even been gpu mined for a year yet?

LiteCoin is the next bitcoin, we will see a huge bubble, and maker of millionaires all over again :)

BTC-e and vircurex come to mind.

I personally find BTC-e easier to withdraw from than MTGOX (over a month waiting on my last SWIFT bank wire).
