Title: [WTB] Buying LTC with Paypal Post by: FiiNALiZE on July 05, 2013, 03:16:34 PM I need 20 LTC.
Paying $2.6 per LTC with Paypal (slightly higher than current rates). PM me if interested. I've done business here before (check my trust). Paypal will be sent as a gift so a chargeback won't work. Title: Re: [WTB] Buying LTC with Paypal Post by: DonDe on July 05, 2013, 10:12:00 PM why not use an exchange? You are asked to get yourself scammed or scam the other. its big money you are throwing around. Be careful.
Title: Re: [WTB] Buying LTC with Paypal Post by: NickBack1951 on July 05, 2013, 10:42:07 PM There is no risk via PayPal, I mean this is the only way you can buy here safe.
I someone "forget" to send him the LTC, he will just ask his money back and PayPal should turn the amount back.. OP could get the coins and then start a paypal dispute and get his money back. Paypal sux bigtime. Title: Re: [WTB] Buying LTC with Paypal Post by: FiiNALiZE on July 05, 2013, 11:12:17 PM Yes, but I am sending it as a gift.
Paypal won't allow chargebacks for gifts. Only way I can get my money back is if I say someone else used my account to send the money, and I'll be using my home computer anyways so I'll have to say someone broke into my house and used my computer to send the money, which is highly unlikely. I'll even include a memo on the transaction saying I'm the one sending the Paypal. Or, if you want to be even safer, list it on eBay and ship me a piece of paper or something. I just don't want to spend an hour sending it through MoneyGram. Bitinstant screwed me out of $50 last time by holding my BTC for 4 days. I just dont want to deal with Bitinstant ever again. Title: Re: [WTB] Buying LTC with Paypal Post by: KWH on July 05, 2013, 11:21:03 PM Yes, but I am sending it as a gift. Only way charge backs can happen with gifts is if I say someone else used my account. Whatever Ill trade for Amazon GC's or another thing of your choosing that I can't chargeback. Please enlighten me with your knowledge then. I have been dealing with Paypal transactions over forums for years. I'm also an eBay buyer/seller so I have some experience with Paypal and their dispute/chargeback system. If you think I'm going to scam, then don't do business with me and get the hell out of my thread. |
