If you look at the comparison between digital dollars and physical dollars, the number of digital dollars will be far higher. If you remove the banks, and make sovereign-crypto currencies, which are essentially a means for the government to watch every dollar you spend, I don't see what the point is.

I have said my opinion about that for a long time ago - doubtful those projects are going to be successful and expansive, probably the price of such crypto-currencies on the market will be the same as the price of national fiat.
